Character Name: Irraka (Kai) Valouri

Species/Breed: Eastern Wolf

Age: 4(½) human years, nearly 17 in her own.

Appearance: Wiry build Eastern Wolf standing at 6’ 2”, covered primarily in pitch black fur with caramel brown ears, paws, and handpaws. Has dark blue eyes that express no emotion, only a quiet wonder. Wears only a black collar with an inch-long plastic casing on the left side. The casing contains a basic GPS and alert system, with a button on the side that alerts her owner’s phone when pressed twice in rapid succession.

Color: Amethyst (#9966cc)

Personality: Kai’s experiences are based on empiricism. The only things that are real and important are those that she can prove with her own experience and senses, so she learned very early the skills of hiding in plain sight. She’s highly curious, but won’t pry if she’s given boundaries provided she has no reason to think someone is in danger. Emelie has taught her to represent predators as capable of unity and grace, and she’s trying her best. Though her speech patterns don’t show a lot of care and neither those nor her body language show much emotion, she loves listening to others talk and watching them interact with each other. If someone she’s interacting with gives signs of encouraging emotional expression she’ll try to distance herself or discredit the idea for self-defense.

Background: (I wrote way too much for this... tl;dr Starts the same as Cala's, but Ray and Kai were later adopted by the study's organizer, Uther, and his animal-rights activist wife, Emelie. She spends the majority of her time studying etiquette and culture from Emelie so that she can be shown off as an example of a sophisticated predator, and the rest of it watching over the family's kids. The two haven't seen Cala in a while and are visiting on a camping/reunion trip.)

Other Notes:
-Kai's instinctual drives dulled a long time ago, and she fears she’s less of a wolf for it. She won’t pretend otherwise and will admit the fact if pushed to do so.
-Kai has mild type 1 narcolepsy, often collapsing as a result of any emotional outburst (including laughter). They tend to be shorter naps, especially in unfamiliar territory, but this has still led her to tamp down her emotions.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats:

Appearance: Sturdily built Eastern Wolf standing at 6’ 1” with kind, walnut-colored eyes and a big, goofy smile. His coat is primarily a copper-brown. Grey fur surrounds his eyes in a circle expanding out a half-inch in all directions, curving and shrinking around the side of his muzzle like a yin-yang shape and coming to a point on both sides just under his jaw. His muzzle’s underside is pure white (assuming he’s eaten nothing messy recently), as well as the insides of his ears. His upper-arms and shoulders are covered in black fur (kinda like pauldrons), and his back has an upside-down triangle of white fur, the baseline of which is vertically centered, that comes to a point at his waistline, with the sides stopping as his back starts to curve around. His feet are a muddy brown that lightens to normal as they reach his knees. He wears only a black collar with an inch-long plastic casing on the left side. The casing contains a basic GPS and alert system, with a button on the side that alerts his owner’s phone when pressed twice in rapid succession.

Color: Forest Green (#228B22)

Personality: Ray has a very supportive personality, contrary to his name. Many of his actions are driven by a very powerful competitive drive, though the objective is always just to test his mettle and he’ll compliment the competitor(s) regardless of the victor. He's highly protective of others’ health and mental status, even if they’re older or more capable than him, often coming across as patronizing without actually meaning to. His patience is decidedly shorter for those who harass his friends and an explosive temper awaits those who manage to both need and ignore a clear warning.

-When his temper is unmasked he'll drop anything to face the offending party, more growls than words. The shows of aggression will generally escalate until either the threat backs down or they're incapacitated. Attempting to reason with him in such a state is rarely worth the breath.

- Strength: 8 | Lots of training for combat competitions.
- Perception: 3 | Focuses heavily on what’s directly in front of him.
- Endurance: 10 | Never give up, never give in.
- Charisma: 4 | Rather humble and quick to turn attention towards others’ strengths.
- Intelligence: 8 | Very fast learner, great at predicting results.
- Agility: 6 | More training for quicker sports.
- Luck: 3 | Why he’s never had a drive to win competitions.

Probably not a good idea for Senka to run off with her yet. I don't think Senka would be silly enough to do that anyway.
