We must play one day! I love MTG. I used to play weekly drafts, and I've been to PTQs and whatnot.

If you would like we could play over PMs. I love it too. You seem to be a bit above my level, but I don't mind a challenge.

So while you two talk about MTG, I am going to join the food discussion!

...... But I don't have any ideas about food right now... Ah well, maybe next time.

Peanut butter cups and skim milk don't mix well. Which is weird, because they're both delicious.

My last name is terribly boring. I can't wait to/I wish I could change it when I get married.

Well unfortunately or fortunate for you, the female of the relationship normally adopts the other. I don't want to start any conspiracy against your gender though.

Hence why I either can't wait or wish it worked the other way.

Are you religious or something? At least in England, it's fine (might be slightly more difficult) to have the woman keep her second name and have the man change his. I guess it's in the marrige papers or sometihng...not that I've ever been married.

I am, but it has nothing to do with that. It'd technically be fine both legally and religiously for the hypothetically-male Sleet to adopt his wife's last name, or for me to change my last name before I even get married, but it's more just social expectations that keep me from doing any of those things. "Because it's boring" seems like a really trivial reason to do something as big as going out of my way to change my last name.

I would tell you guys my last name, as it is very strange, but you would instantly be able to find out who I was, as my family name is only 3-4 generations old and my family is the only one in history to have our last name.

I'm basically the same way. My last name is extremely rare, and I think I'm the only one with it who is in America.

Yeah, that's right, I just maybe offered my hand in marriage to two people I've never even met off the internet for the sole purpose of maybe changing my boring last name. Nothing strange about that.

Well dang, because I mentioned this, the gender conspiracy is sort of starting again. Anyways, I know I am the only one with this last name in America, along with my brother, sister, and parents anyways.
