Photoshopping Housepets!
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I would definitely shout your name if you fell through a floor, you can trust me on that.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Thanks, guys.
Well, one more for now. The first change is the weirdest, baby, I know
The first change is the weirdest
When it comes to being flashy, I'm worst
When it comes to liking him, I'm first!
I don't get it, I love bright, vibrant colors, yet my favorite fan characters and OCs tend to have muted or rusted palletes. At the top of my head, I can only think of one real exception, and that's only because of the source I found. Still, will be much easier to edit in glasses compared to the helmet.

So much to be said for bright and vibrant colors besides the fact they're bright and vibrant.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
So I've been seeing this meme go around on Twitter and i couldn't help but make my own variation of it. It ended up being a little crowded in the end. I think the pictures were a little too big. Oh well. Is it at least accurate?
Also: For character pictures that are outside of the triangle, assume they are on the same position as the character closest to them horizontally. Characters that are inside the triangle do not have these rules applied to them, and Res, Rex and Cory are special cases because they're on the same position as the one directly above or below them.
I wish i could have just uploaded the picture here but apparently it was too big to go on the forum page, so it's in link form instead.

That's awesome! Now I'd love to see you try to do the Jock-Nerd/Prep-Goth chart alignment with the characters.Tappy Too wrote:So I've been seeing this meme go around on Twitter and i couldn't help but make my own variation of it. Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

He has come from the future to face off against Peanut Black!
This came out great!

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
It did ... Although I admit, I had a flashback to Tum Racoon's attempt to intimidate Mungo when he and Fox startled the little guy sleeping in Sasha's Cabin. "Watch out!, I'm rabid!)
Yellow, adorable, and herculean ... a rare combo, very well done.

And I decided to continue it.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Welp cant wait for the Ultra Instinct one then ^^
I would suggest "Cat`s in the craddle" by Ugly Kid Joe.CanzetYote wrote:More pets take the stage to sing:
Bino is not happy, he's gotta sing a cat-related song. Probably The Cure's "Love Cats" or Al Stewart's "Year Of The Cat".

Rick posted a sketch of Gender-Swaped Pete, and I ended up coloring it:

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Neat.
Well, FINALLY continued this little misadventure. Here we introduce Macsen, Hlaoroo, Render, and Serence to the fold!

Ha! That's awesome!
I was just thinking the other day that it was a shame there were no quolls in the comic you could recolour for me.
Turns out you didn't need one!
Thanks, Rocky!

Thanks, everyone!
Render for Fox was easy, just alter a couple pattern lines.
Serence for Summer also required a couple changed lines, but it would have been more if I had decided to change the halo to her frost crown.
Hlaoroo for Tarot, that took a long time to figure out. I had ideas for this page for a long while, but couldn't figure out who to use for Tarot. Initially considered Diss, but I can't quite get that transition right, then thought of leaving her as-is for a sort of "canon guide," finally had the idea for Roo. Couple line pattern changes and complete tail change. Easier than I initially thought.
Macsen for Sabrina, THAT was tough. Sabrina had no pattern to begin with, fine, Macsen on the other hand needed quite a few lines added. Still ended up skimping out on some of the pattern, anyway. Also, don't be too miffed about getting a female model, Macsen, I have two OCs that had concepts using a model of the opposite gender as well. Well, three, but one was never publicly shown. Tarot passes surprisingly well with the pattern changes, and Grape is pretty androgynous to begin with.
Forgot to mention, can't quite get Brent's floppy ears to look convincing.
I plan on having Sleet for Spring. Not sure where to place Obbl to begin with, and I'd need to find some sort of reference sheet.
Not sure when I'll make a next installment, any form of "story" is formed as I go.

Well, that was mildly deranged. And funny!

"Okay, now I get why cats avoid getting wet."
"You wanted to stay here."
I've been wanting to finish that little "adventure" for a while now, but the drive has been dead for so long, and it's a lot of editing at this point. So for now, have this. Think of it as "after the adventure."
Haven't edited Star in a non-costumed attire, interesting.

MAx getting a bath from Jill Sandwich while Grape watches. Her tail is used to check to make sure the water isn't too hot.

Did anyone ordered an angry fluffy? No? Here you have one anyway.
Didn't changed too much, just removed the tentacle and the speechbubble. Apparently I still have trouble with HP hair, that's why it looks kinda odd.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
So, did some things.
Scrapped concepts that were for an encounter design in Tails of Babylon. What these were a concept of is going a completely different direction, art-wise, so these aren't needed anymore. I still really liked how they turned out, though. Mostly the first one. Second one's pallet doesn't seem to work that well.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
...that was actually my choice. I thought that it was too much, both yours and Chaoko's concept had a ton of eyes, though i did like the concept of there being more than one pair. Also, literally made these two days ago. We had no route for Barghests' appearance, and really, still don't. I made another attempt drawn myself, but also scrapped. That one I'm still going to finish and post in the art thread as a standalone piece. Also had four eyes. Chaoko said that he'll try a different approach completely.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I'll post the second panel of today's strip here for exploitation.
You can put any character in Kitsune's place.
I'll edit the other panels later.
