I got back in the morning and it has been a very nice and funny day! Valerio and Renato are such great guys, thank you!
Re: Announcements of leave and return
As I said last week, I'll be taking a trip both Philadelphia and New York City and won't be back till Wednesday. Until then, I'll see you guys later.

Re: Announcements of leave and return
Hi...
Sorry I haven't been around, things were, or i guess still are, a bit screwed up on my end.
It's getting better, but i'm not completely back on-line yet, right now i'm in the process of packing all of my stuff to move in august, might be back up and running after that. not sure. I'll have a new job to adjust to, and a sprite comic that's owed 4 months worth of backlogged pages that i need to sort out before i can decide how to straighten out this side of things...
plus I'm probably going to be doing side jobs n' crap for months just to pay everyone back, I kinda owe a couple people a few thousand... so, free time'll be limited.

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Welcome back, Buster. I was wondering where you've been. At the very least, it's a few steps in the right direction.

Re: Announcements of leave and return
Welp, I'm in the airport about to leave for Japan. It'll be a couple of weeks before everything gets settled, and during the transition time I probably won't be around a whole lot. So it's sort of leaving for now.
See y'all in Japan

Re: Announcements of leave and return
So "a couple weeks" turned out to be one week. The apartment I'm now occupying has internet set up already. I'm reasonably settled in now, so I'll be around here doing my normal stuff... but with a green name... and from Japan

As long as you don't start writing all of your mod posts in kanji. That might get annoying to translate.

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

I... Um, well, this is a tad embarrassing. I honestly don't know where to start, heh. But, be that as it may be, I'm certain this is the right thread for it.
Anyways, just from one idle glance alone, it seems that so much has changed since I last visited the website that it's a little overwhelming; retrospectively, the discussions, trends, and even the sub-forums that I frequented are a little different. I'm seeing a lot of new, friendly individuals overlapping those that I'm marginally familiar, too. It's enough to render a fellow speechless, and -- I know, most, if not everything, that I've mentioned can very well pass for gross understatements, given that change throughout time is to be expected. But, I'm simply left astounded at how much Housepets! has evolved throughout the span of years, I just can't help myself but express such feelings towards something so profound.
Nonetheless, I'm eager to delve back into the fray to not only process all that's transpired -- little by little -- but to get to meet you all, too! I'm also willing to atone for phenomena that has, without a doubt, irked specific individuals in distinct mannerisms in the past, and build upon it a foundation for the future, no matter how daunting the path may be.

On a serious note, personal issues are terrible, so is clinical depression.
