I'm curious to know what King said.

Wonder if any of the kids will pick up THAT behavior now? =P

Either her family went the "made-up words" route or they had that much self-control. Also, seems that she wasn't around when Tarot asked King to help get Satau back.Xane wrote:You grew up on a farm, Bailey. I'm sure you've heard much worse!!

I don't think the firetruck is what caused him to shout firetruck, he was able to bare that. It wast the lego brick after that.

Did Ace sleep through King's implied stream of profanities, or is Bailey cycling through the pups she carries?

Out cold and happy
With a cheery little pappy
Too bad it cannot last
Against a loud, verbal, blast.
Flying soap enters the fray,
Taking King’s breath away;
Hearing Bailey nearly shout
As the pups all cry out.
Where did he learn that word?
Perhaps it may have occurred
When the stud was Human?
A lesson in etiquette is looming…

I think he said exactly what he said the LAST time he hurt himself...Remember the "*thump, thump '@'$!#?!' Thump, kaclunk*" when he went tumblin' down the stairs when he was still stuck with Pete? Yeah.. I think we had that moment only he might've given that word more than one go.
"Crimes?" "Crimes."

Re: 2016/06/17 - More Washing
I don't blame King for letting out his frustration through his words. In fact, there have been studies that show that the faster people vent their frustrations (of which many do through swearing), the faster pain appears to subside. As for me, I have a punching bag in my room. I used to punch my walls when I did something like King did, but I had to get a bag when I made holes in my wall. On the plus side, it is good practice for self-defense...

King knows he heard that word at least 12 times a day from his old man but he panicked and said the first name he thought of.
"Fox".
Fox better prepare himself.

Have any characters besides King had any part of their speech bubble censored?

There was the eagle in the Wolf's Clothing arc. I think that's about it. Any others are of the Unusual Euphemism variety or self-censored, like when Grape exclaimed "d-worded spot!" when she was playing Lady Macbeth.SergeiTheFox wrote:Have any characters besides King had any part of their speech bubble censored?

Unfortunately I have never seen A Christmas Story, so all I could think of was Dexter's Lab where at the end of the episode the mom has a bar of soap and brush, and says she'll clean Dexter's and Dee-Dee's dirty mouths clean.Macsen wrote:No. It's A Christmas Story. What if King did it himself? Some kind of tough self training.
It's difficult for me to imagine that Bailey can do it with King.

King is showing his "Human origin" again. Pretty sure it will happen more often since he is only a full corgi in body and not mind.

I can't help thinking. Would Bailey be mad if he had said "S" of a "B"? Technically, that wouldn't have been cursing since Rock is his son, and Bailey is a, um, you know.
The animated signature I've used for years is too big for this forum! When I get time, I'll have to deconstruct it and make it smaller!

Ahaha..Oh lord...Uh I pretty sure that Bailey would very likely deck King if he said that.cuteycindyhoney wrote:I can't help thinking. Would Bailey be mad if he had said "S" of a "B"? Technically, that wouldn't have been cursing since Rock is his son, and Bailey is a, um, you know.
(Fast fact: Deck ,when refering to a punch, means a knockout punch or a punch strong enough to knock someone to the floor aka a deck.)

Grape would do this in the first arcs (Specifically The Game).SergeiTheFox wrote:Have any characters besides King had any part of their speech bubble censored?

King's language may not be acceptable, but I want to know who thought that giving them small toys was a good idea? Those things aren't suitable for puppies, they could be choking hazards.

Bad King making the puppies cry. Also, YAY Bailey for going through with the cliche mom threat "I oughta wash your mouth out with soap."

Yeah, in a comic in wich Bino has had to be at the hospital after Grape hit him with a frying pan.SuperStar wrote:Pack up your realism and get out of here before they kill you for ruining their fun.WishIWasHearEarlier wrote:King's language may not be acceptable, but I want to know who thought that giving them small toys was a good idea? Ahahah! One of the finest strips. Yeah, that's something King must absolutely change now... I figure out the pain you get by stomping a bare foot on such sharp toys, but learn from Maxwell: suffer in silence. Poor puppies, surely they didn't understand dad's curses, but that's not a nice wake up... Well done, Bailey.
The first panel is so adorable.
