I'm PRETTY sure that's what we said she was right? Unless she was his sister, all I remember is that she was related to Faust in some manner. I may be completely wrong on that, that was like, months ago

I suggested cousin, sister, or girlfriend, only for all of them to get shot down on the basis that we don't want to mess with a canon character in the event that Rick decided to do something different with them that would make our use contradictory with canon.

Thinking back on it now, that was the first step to me disliking how much canon was holding us back.

I recall rejecting the idea of Jenny being directly related to Faust, not out of canon reasons, but just that I thought it'd be more interesting if she was sort of yandere for him. An obsessed follower always in the back, watching him, and now she continues what he started.

Yeah I guess I'm okay with either that or Super's idea, don't know why I was so stingy about THAT particular thing, it's not even that big of a deal in terms of cannon. Like, some of the other things like Pete and Dragon being in the game I get, but I'm not sure why I was against that.

No, I left after the first big canon vs non canon argument (Texhoutil as a boss). Jenny was one of the later ones, i think #3 or #4. Though considering nothing has changed from one to the next, it's not surprising you're mixing them up what? still bitter? me? never.

Huh. For some reason I thought those both happened at the same time. I guess it has been a while.

Looking back on the Tex incident, tho, it really wasn't as big of an issue as any of us were seeing it at the time.

Yes, the thing on the left is the scabbard or sheath, whichever you want to call it. I decided that it would be nice to show that so that it would look less plain overall.

Also, the Teox thing was deeper; it was less about the inclusion of the character and more on the root of how much we want to make our own decisions on canon, whether we want to make breaks from it or not. That was where things fell apart, and that was what I was seeing with my talks with Cobra.

That was why I ended it like I did. There was too great a chance of either pushing him away or me leaving. I'll admit, if worst came to worst, it would be better if I did the leaving, but that's also not going to happen with how stubborn you've all seen me be. It's just better to lose a simple designer instead of a programmer, spriter, bug tester, or writer. I'm not really irreplaceable.
