That said, Tybalt looks fun. Getting some ideas for his battle moves already.
Side note: Changed Tiger's move set to make him tanky as well as a health stealing type fighter. Before he was just a health stealing fighter.

732 last I checked. I'm probably going to compress new sound files into MP3 or WMA before I post from now on.D-Rock wrote: It's a big download, at around 700 MB.
Sounds a bit OP.GameCobra wrote: Changed Tiger's move set to make him tanky as well as a health stealing type fighter. Before he was just a health stealing fighter.

New Windows 10 user? If so, you'll need to replace your audio driver with Realtek HD Win10. It's free on the Realtek website (assuming you still have the old driver installed).Ezaz wrote:Is not having working headphones a problem? Because whenever I launch it it shows "Failed to initialise DirectX audio".
Might I suggest AAC format, It was designed to set a high compression rate while still keeping most of the quality. Plus it's still modern, and the codec is being experimented with. So it may be even smaller within the next few years.GreatKitsune wrote:732 last I checked. Anyways, full on QA testing isn't really necessary at this point as we've yet to finish a second chapter and many fixes from the demo haven't been updated, so I would assume they will be patched in Dv4, whenever that is.
On a related note, once I finish the remix, early event release single, and webshow episode I've been working on, I'll be getting back on this, so what are all the new areas in Ch. 2 that need BGMs? I'll also do Sabby's house's BGM, don't worry. I remembered.![]()

I've had windows 10 for quite a while now and this has never happened. My computer says the realtek drivers are up to date as well.GreatKitsune wrote:

Actually that just may be your issue, check and see if your driver moved your device...Ezaz wrote:I've had windows 10 for quite a while now and this has never happened. My computer says the realtek drivers are up to date as well.GreatKitsune wrote:

I'll see what I can do. I finally have my mixer again.Has a daytime Babylon Gardens theme been done yet?

It has, actually, but it's too quiet. I keep forgetting to fix it.Unusuallynamedperson wrote:I'll see what I can do. I finally have my mixer again.Has a daytime Babylon Gardens theme been done yet?
BGM 2.D-Rock wrote:Alright, so which one was it again?![]()
Enchanted weapons. Bite attacks were initially going to be the go-to drain attacks, but i changed my mind and made those enemy-only attacks.@Cobra: How exactly would Tiger even steal health? In that case, I kind of think of Tiger having only self-healing skills. Still, how?

I hadn't thought of the mansion, but it does seem fitting now that you mention it.SuperStar wrote:Wow, that's a pretty snazzy track. Sounds like it should play at the Miltons' mansion or something.
I'm starting to wish that I knew what the mansion looks like, sorry if you added it to the newer demo...I only have finished the old one.GreatKitsune wrote:I hadn't thought of the mansion, but it does seem fitting now that you mention it.SuperStar wrote:Wow, that's a pretty snazzy track. Haven't done it on any monsters yet, but yes, they can. But it's not like Tiger will be stealing food from, say, a slime - demon or dragon. or ghosts. =PInvisan wrote:Since i didnt really follow the Thread for a long time. Are the enemy's able to heal themselves through potions/food or something?
Cause if so Tigers healing abilities could come through stealing those from the enemy's (if possible).

Or gargoyle, or mythical demigod, or sentient appendage, or shadow-creature, or Kari-*brick'd*GameCobra wrote:Haven't done it on any monsters yet, but yes, they can. Don't want to intrude to much here, but you could add it to his abilities, and say that he sucks the life-force out of his enemies, then take like I.D.K. one or two points away from the enemy. I did see something similar on an RPG before. Then he could technically take energy from any being...but if it was me, I'd make it so that the more powerful the enemy the less damage he does, and the less the character receives from the ability. I know you were discussing spells as not an option, but I was thinking maybe you could use the miltons and have them give Tiger some form of device that allows him to do so. It wouldn't be completely inaccurate, as he does know the miltons...and, blew up their studio but hey relations are close enough!D-Rock wrote:Music was nice. At first, felt like the farm, but then it felt fitting for an upper-society home. Also, am I right in guessing that Tiger's HP stealing ability is learned later on his skill list? Seems odd for him to have it early, considering he has no magical skills.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

Any suggestions are welcome, as log as they aren't too tangent or conflict with the canon.Unusuallynamedperson wrote: Don't want to intrude to much here, but you could add it to his abilities, and say that he sucks the life-force out of his enemies, then take like I.D.K. one or two points away from the enemy.
It's simple. Karishad stole it, and through whatever means, Tiger has it now.D-Rock wrote:I don't see the Miltons' trusting him with any of that kind of stuff. He's blown up their studio and pretty much destroyed their pie-eating contest. I have an idea for said device; maybe it was the result of studying the mana, but now that it's gone, they can't make much else. Still, I'd think that Tiger would be the last guy they would give it to.
Anyway, go ahead and leave suggestions. If we need to, we'll figure out how to scale it back if necessary, or add to it to bring it up to how it would likely be in the real thing.
It's a great idea, but why would Karishad have to steal it if he practically lives with them now? I mean, I am just wondering how that part would...play out?SuperStar wrote:It's simple. On second thought it is Karishad, so NEVERMIND!Unusuallynamedperson wrote:It's a great idea, but why would Karishad have to steal it if he practically lives with them now? Or, actually instead of Karishad you could per say that butch or fallstaf stole it and gave it to tiger as for doing some form of favor?GameCobra wrote:Karishad does what he thinks is best. he doesn't consider it stealing, but is usually the permissable type. =P
There's always a way to incorporate a reason behind game mechanics, but sometimes there really doesn't need to be an explanation if stumped. In the case of Tiger, his HP draining is just a theme: He's always hungry. If there has to be a logic behind it, you could just chalk it up to magic or weapons at the very least. In this case, like i mentioned earlier - enchanted weapons.
Also, regarding HP draining attacks: I ended up having to rework Tiger last night. It was suppose to drain HP by a percentage of damage done to the target, but the drain mechanic once i started testing it yesterday turned out not to be what i thought it was. draining - absorbing magic? weird. So instead, his weapons will increase the amount of healing he receives from anything, including items and magic. reworking on his special moves to instead find ways of taunting and going with the good old cookie jar/mini-fridge/lunch box ability: a 1K heal on himself that costs 35 TP and scales with his weapon.
