Joy: For some reason the school donated a bunch of high end clothes to me today. Giving me two more makeshift suits, winter weather wear, and shoes. Effectively tripling the size of my wardrobe and creating a whole new set for winter. Guess wearing the same makeshift suit everyday for two years as it slowly fell apart got someone's attention.

Well that was nice of the school to do for you! I remember in high school when some idiot stole my iPod and some kids put up a collection for me to get a new one.

Congrats, Civ! Know that I'm happy to help you out, and I'm sure there are plenty of others around here who would do likewise, as well. Maybe you don't have to tell them? If it doesn't really affect your academic standings, you can recover and pass the class next semester, then maybe they don't really need to know. As long as the bottom line is that you pass all your courses and get that qualification, by hook or by crook.

Joy; a week ago (give or take a few days) I found something I really wanted on sale and ordered it, after it had some shipping issues it is finally here and I now have the extended editions of the lord of the rings (what I got) and the extended hobbits(which I got over time).

We're going to call animal control over tomorrow to make sure; if he was shot, then we'll have the police come over and investigate. I can forgive - but I don't want anyone else to be in danger.

My condolences for your loss, and yes, please report the crazed person to the police if it's true she's the one who committed the crime. She is in no sound state of mind to handle guns.Douglas Collier wrote:We're going to call animal control over tomorrow to make sure; if he was shot, then we'll have the police come over and investigate. Sorrow: I lost my high school certificate and my university foundation program certificate as well, which I need to register to college. I can apply for a replacement for both, but asides from the long time period for delivery and the fact that the dead line for application submission is end of this month, I also have to pick on old wounds and contact my ex-university. I really don't want to do that, since I left without saying a word, but I guess it's time for me to take a stand. This means I can only start in May though; what on Earth am I supposed to tell my mum?
Joy: At least I have another 4 more extra months to do other stuffs, like that driver's license, trying to start exercising regularly, getting a decent part-time job and fix the house.
Sorrow: I kinda have a heart attack, I think? There's this dull but noticeable pain at my left chest, near the armpit, and if memory serves me right, that's a sign of a cardiac arrest. I did only get one hour of sleep last night and have been playing games which positions my body in a crooked way, so it might just be chest cramps. But I'm scared enough to go to bed and sleep another 3 hours. With my pre-existing anxiety and family history, a panic attack or a heart attack is very possible, and I kinda don't want to die too early =w=

Re: Joys And Sorrows
Requiescat in pace, kitty. And my condolences for your loss, Collier. Hope everything is resolved for the better.
All in all, anxiety is often times frustrating and pretty much nigh continuously exasperating. Wish you all the luck in handling it and feel free to pester me if you want to talk about it. Talking about things has helped me a lot in the past and even now from time to time.
Far be it from me to actively discourage someone from going to the doctor. After all, I'm just someone from over the internet, not a licensed physician and I know nothing of your family history on the matter. That said... severe hypochondria (that is, minor health problems being blown out of proportion) is very much part of anxiety. That's something I can say straight from experience. Back when I wasn't in control (well, at the very least, less in control of them than I am now) of my anxiety and panic attacks, there were two separate times where I felt things were so out of control I called emergency services and ended up going to the hospital. And twice after a thorough check and some observation I was told 'there's nothing physically wrong with you, it's all in your head' and sent home... along with a not-negligible bill. And that's only the times I was driven to the point of calling 911 - there were many, many more times where some minor thing in my body would feel off or awkward, the anxiety would spiral it out of control and trigger a palpable sense of doom that something was majorly wrong with me and I basically just had to fight through it. I will say that sleep is crucial - even with how I am now, I know the less sleep I get, the more prone to anxiety I become. I'd also advise to avoid stimulants like caffeine when you're anxious - they keep you awake, but they also amp anxiety's effects, and that's the exact opposite of what you want to happen.kurowolfe wrote:Sorrow: I kinda have a heart attack, I think? Re: Joys And Sorrows
Yeah, I recognized my 'blowing out of proportions' issue even while writing that. It's funny how you can observe your own behaviour and thought process from a third person perspective while going through the motions themselves, but it helps in self-reflection later. Yesterday morning's gaming was very stressful to me.
I didn't really go to the doctor's or anything, but it does pay to be careful. I knew at least 3 friends my age who died suddenly from heart attacks without showing any physical symptoms beforehand, and it turned out that each of them had been experiencing great stress up to the incident. Hence my paranoia, though it's over-inflated.

Joy: We got a new cat - a calico named Cassie. She's a bit shy right now, but she's comfortable on our cat tree right now, watching us. She loves being scritched on the neck, and she's quiet. Our dog has shown good indications of accepting the cat. Hopefully the cat will come to be comfortable around our dog.

So for about 5 hours I sat there, fiddled with programs and came to some conclusions. Joy Half-Joy : It worked. No more bluescreens in the general allotted time that they would normally occur, however I can't rule that I have completely solved this issue yet. I'll need to play for longer than 30-40 minutes to figure out if I actually fixed it. So... half joy.

You can try a little Programm called BluescreenView it can show you the content of the Bluescreen Message after you booted your pc. So you can either google for the Problem or tell me the error message or make a screenshot of it and send it to me so i can help you. After you start the Program set Lower Pane mode to Windows XP Style or press F8. That should work to get the Error Message.
