It sounds like maybe you're getting better at dealing with it. I'm not an expert but in my experience keeping yourself from shutting down completely when depressed is a good sign that you're moving towards recovery. But you gotta go to class, that stress won't make your life better even if in the short term it seems like a good idea.kurowolfe wrote:Erm: I think I'm in a depression bout again, but I honestly can't tell. I feel like throwing up inside, but I could still function externally. Didn't go to any class though, insomnia in full gear this week. Is that normal?
If you are not going to class due to lack of sleep or the case that you don't feel like learning anything, you'll start doubting yourself. Try not to think about it too much and go to class. you'll feel fine once you get some positive reinforcement into it.kurowolfe wrote:Erm: I think I'm in a depression bout again, but I honestly can't tell. =( I hope she recovers soon.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Sorrow: Had to take my mother to the hospital
Goodness, sounds like life hasn't been treating you very well, I hope your mother's doing well!Amazee Dayzee wrote:Sorrow: Had to take my mother to the hospital
I wouldn't say...normal, but like the others said being able to function at all is a great thing, I would be very wary of chronic insomnia though, it can ruin your academic performance like nothing else, like how it seems to already be doing. yeah , I'll do that , thanks kuro ^^kurowolfe wrote:Dry the blood until it no longer bleeds, clean the wound with cold water, and let it dry up until a scab is formed. It's shallow so I don't think it'll get an infection if not covered, and shallow wounds tend to cure faster without anything covering it anyway (at least for me).
Generally an emergency department exists to stabilize critically ill or injured patients. If someone's life is not in jeopardy, they may be discharged before all test results are back, especially if the hospital's a busy one and there are no inpatient beds for the ER physician(s) to admit the patient to. If there's a test result that warrants further examination, or if a specialist piece of equipment will be available later, it's common to recall patients or schedule them to come back later.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Joy: My mother came home. Sorrow: She still had stomach pains and fell asleep at 5
Confusion: They discharged her at 3 AM, now they want her back? Do ALL hospitals in Rhode Island SUCK?
Would prefer being readmitted to the hospital than prolonging whatever problems may be going on.Amazee Dayzee wrote:I understand that, though 3 in the morning just when I got back to sleep. X.x
Yeah, I quite fortunate that everyone was amicable. However, my city has more than plenty drama up on wikifur, but then it's not common practise to bring it all up on first contact. I tried my best to be decent, and everything worked out. ~Sleet wrote:Sounds like you had a good group, then! Some furry groups are pretty terrible.
