"Give him a bit of a shake, Nadia. I'll try to wake him again. If we can get him up he might be able to get himself across again." This time Flynn doesn't lower his voice much, and he makes sure to put on an American accent, trying to emulate Mrs. Walton.
"Cinnamon! I'll not ask you again! Get out there and do those cages or you'll be sleeping in one tonight!"
Piper giggles at Flynn's impersonation.
"Hehe, that sounded just like her. I've heard her yell at Six like that when I've been in for a check-up."

"The river's not too wide so I think we should be able to tow you back across with it, Nadia, if you think you can keep him up out of the water."

Cinnamon squeals, and twists, pawing and nipping at the fox. "Go AWAY and let me SLEEP oh it's YOU again what practical joke are you gonna pull on me NOW?"

The big weasel skitters back against the wall of the cavern, snarling, his wet chocolate pelt fluffed up in spikes, and it's abundantly clear that he might be a small animal but he's got the sharpest teeth any of the group has ever seen on a pet. He looks more like a little dragon than anything normal and civilized.

Cinnamon scrambles carefully back over the rocks above the inflow, then scurries back to the tree and comes back with his bag, huffing a bit.

Cinnamon chatters all the way up to the stairs, talking about Mister Badger and his secrets, and how he'll be sure to know everything about the smugglers. He's not really internalized the difference between forty years and a hundred years, it seems.

Flynn, having gotten a bit lost in the chatter, has been nodding and "uh huh"ing to help the marten feel he's being listened to. Arriving in the house, the rabbit exits his room and returns before long with an old but fluffy towel which he passes to the marten along with a hair-dryer.
"Once you're dry, feel free to use the beanbag." Flynn looks at the mouse on his shoulder.
"It was a little, wasn't it? My fur is nice and thick but I suppose it would be cold for those with thinner fur. Need another jacket?"
