Grape was walking down the hallway, when she stopped by Peanut’s room. She looked inside, seeing the pup sleep ontop of his sheets. The sound of his loud snoring made her smile. ”Even when you sleep, you make me smile,” she said, as she closed the door. Grape arrived at her room, walking up to her window to catch the moon in all its glory. Grape yawned, realizing that she was tired. Although she rarerly slept during the night, a midnight nap wouldn’t hurt. After all, she rarely got to finish her naps during the day, because one annoying dog kept waking her up. Grape strolled over to her bed, where she collapsed, drifting away to sleep.
Grape woke up to hearing someone muttering something, in a language Grape did not understand. She looked around her room, trying to figure out who, or what was making that weird sound. When she saw her room was empty, she stood up and started walking towards her window. The moon was still at its peak, and its lunar glow still shining up the night. Grape stared at the moon, caught in its beauty, when she heard the strange sound again. She turned around, facing her empty room yet again. ”Alright, who’s there?” Grape hissed, given no response. Gah, must be my imagination... She thought to herself.
Grape turned around, but this time someone was standing next to her. Startled, Grape leapt back to her bed, hiding behind one of her pillows. ”There is nothing to be afraid of, Grape.” Said the figure, in a very tranquil, female voice. Grape peaked from behind her pillow, seeing the large figure standing by her window. The creature had very pure, white fur, which almost looked flourescent in the moonlight. It stood almost doubled of Grape’s length, gazing out the window. The tail, not only was it very big, it also had a black stripe, running down the middle of it. ”W-who are you?” Grape asked, still startled by this ones entrance. ”I am Cross.” She said, turning around, and starting to walk towards Grape’s bed. Grape hid behind her pillow once more, still frightened by the being. Cross sat down on Grape’s bed, placing a hand on her shoulder. Grape lowered her pillow once more, looking directly in the eyes of her visitor. The eyes were big and oval-shaped. One had a very bright shade of purple, almost the same as Grape’s fur. The other eye however, was not purple, but green, looking like an emerald. ”Okay, let me rephrase, WHAT are you?” Grape blurted out, still caught in the gaze of the wolf-like visitor. ”I am no more but a guardian, young one.” Cross replied, turning away from Grape. Cross stood up, and started walking towards Grape window.
As before, her fur looked flourescent in the moonlight, lighting up Grape’s room even more. ”A guardian you say? Guardian of what, exactly?” Grape asked, looking at Cross’ glowing fur. ”I am the guardian of worlds, Grape,” Cross sighed. ”My duty is to prevent dreams and reality from clashing together.” Grape looked at Cross, wondering what she meant. She stood up and walked over to the window, where Cross was standing. Both of them were now caught in the lunar glow of the moon, gazing out Grape’s window.
”And what does that have to do with me?” Grape asked, looking at Cross. ”That is something I cannot tell you Grape, all I can say is that the gift that will be bestowed upon you is not to be abused.” Cross said, turning to Grape. Cross lifted one of her paws, placing it on Grape’s head, whispering something. ”The balance of worlds is now in your hands, young one.” Said a voice inside Grape’s head, knocking her down. Grape woke up with a shout, only to be blinded by the early morning sun shining through her window. ”Woah, now wasn’t that one weird dream?” Grape said to herself, hopping off her bed. Even though she knew that it was just a dream, it left Grape wondering.
Grape strolled down the stairs, towards the kitchen. ”Morning mom!” She said, looking for something to eat. ”Oh, good morning Grape, didn’t know you were up,” Mrs. Sandwich said, taking a zip from her coffee. ”I heard you scream earlier, something wrong?” she said as she looked at Grape. Grape sat down at the table, munching on an apple. ”Huh? Oh yeah right, nah just a weird dream.” She said, still enjoying her apple. ”Hmm, okay. Could you go outside and tell Peanut that breakfast will be ready soon?” Mrs. Sandwich replied, tossing a pancake in the frying pan. ”Sure mom.” Grape said, tossing what was left of her apple in the bin.
Grape walked outside, ”Hey Peanut! Breakfast is ready soon!” She yelled with her hands cupped at her mouth. Grape sat down on their porch, staring mindlessly at the horizon. Peanut jumped off the swing, hitting the ground. He strolled over to where Grape was sitting, noticing her staring at something. He tried to figure out what she was looking at, but to no result. He sat down next to her, waving a hand infront of her. ”What’s up?” He asked, looking at Grape. ”Just thinking...” Grape sighed, still gazing at the horizon. ”Thinking about what, if I may ask?” Peanut said, with concern in his voice. ”Just a weird dream I had last night, nothing to worry about.” She said, turning to Peanut, patting his head. ”Hey! That tickles!” Peanut whimpered, shoving her paw off his head. ”I know something that will get your mind off things!” Peanut said, standing up. ”Tag, you’re it!” Peanut said, touching Grape’s shoulder gently, before running away. ”Pff, I’ll get you!” Grape said, ready to run after him. What Peanut did not realize was that he was running towards the street, not aware of the car coming towards him. Grape came to a halt, ”PEANUT! Watch out!”
**
All you could hear was coughs, panting and heavy paws running. Looking back, there was only guilt. All you could see was trees standing tall, letting no light whatsoever through the thick foliage. The dark forest never ended, everywhere you looked, it stretched on for what seemed like an eternity. Everywhere there were moss-covered rocks, creating small coves with skull looking figures inhabiting them. Light emitting from certain rocks and trees was the only light that shone up the forest.
All Grape could do was flee, flee from the endless guilt that was chasing her. Shrieks, shrieks so terrifying they sent shivers down Grapes spine. Everything that was going through her head was that she brought this upon herself. Trying to flee from reality was all Grape dared to do. Eyes, vicious looking eyes staring at her. “Suffer…” a booming voice echoed throughout the forest. Grape stopped, realizing she was fleeing from the inevitable. As she turned around, she could see the guilt closing up on her.
Grape woke up with a gasp, feeling exhausted, both mentally and physically. Disoriented, she looked around. Everything was blurry and all she could make out was something square-looking irritating her eyes. As she rubbed them, she realized she was inside, probably in their living room. She felt the woolen blanket that was lying on top of her. At the other end of the couch sat Peanut, playing something. Grape stared at Peanut, trying to remember what had happened. She launched herself at Peanut, hugging him. “Graaape! I’m trying to play here!” He said, as he paused his game. “Uh, what happened?” Grape asked, caught in the gaze of Peanut. “Huh? Oh right, the car thing.” He said, scratching his ear. He told her how the car had just passed right through him, almost like he wasn’t there. How he had found her lying unconscious at their gate. How Peanut had carried Grape inside, placing her on their living room couch. Hearing this made Grape smile.
Grape closed her eyes, with her arms still wrapped around Peanut. “I’m just glad you didn’t leave me here all alone, never to return.” She said, as she opened her eyes and looked at the screen. Peanut looked down at Grape, smiling at her even though she could not see it. “Grape, you’re the best friend I’ve ever had, and I would never leave you for anything in the whole wide world.” He said, turning to the screen once again. Grape let go of Peanut, but rather than pulling away, she cuddled up against him. “Promise?” Grape asked while playing with her tail. Peanut leaned over to her ear, “I promise.” He whispered, as he kissed her on the head.
“Suffer…”
The voice Grape heard made her roll down on the floor and writhe in pain. But before Peanut could do anything, Grape was gone.
The snow was pure and soft. Looking around, there were snow covered trees surrounding the glade. A soothing, purple glow came from the forest, giving the glade a mysterious look. The moon, lighting up the glade with its lunar glow looked like you could reach up to the sky and grab it. Everywhere in the glade, there were white flowers, dancing with the light breeze that came from the glowing forest. Tiny creatures were giggling as they ran across the glade. Grape looked at the bizarre creatures that were giggling. One of them ran up to Grape, looked her in the eyes, turned around and ran away giggling again. Grape knelt down, picked up a flower and smelled it. The scent was something Grape didn’t recognize. The smell of something sweet and soothing, which made Grape fall down. Gazing at the moon, she noticed the stars around it, dancing just like the flowers. The small creatures gathered up around Grape and pounced her. Grape laughed as they were running up and down her body, tickling her. The creatures jumped off Grape and ran towards the forest. This time they didn’t giggle, this time they screamed. Something big descended from the sky. “Hello, Grape.”
**
In front of Grape stood a huge creature with enormous wings. The creature looked somewhat like a tiger, with bright green and red stripes. The color was split in two, from his chest and down it was black, and the rest was white. Standing on four paws, it looked in to Grape eyes. It had two very, very bright eyes. The yellow glow from them almost blinded Grape as she stared directly at them. The tail of this tiger being was as the rest of him, very big. He started to lie down, once his chest hit the ground, he looked at the forest line. “No need to fear, my children. Please come out.” He said with a very deep voice. Emerging from the forest was the small creatures, running up to the big feline. They ran up to his head and waited for him to lower it. When they were up, they sat down and giggled slightly when he moved his head to face Grape again.
Staring in to Grapes eyes, it looked as if he was trying to reach the very soul of her. “What brings you here, my child?” He said, without opening his mouth. The creatures that sat on his head started to morph in to something slightly bigger than they were now. They were morphed in to smaller versions of their host which they were sitting on. Without wings and stripes, though. They jumped off the head and ran towards Grape with a playful look in their eyes. They started to run around Grape, and after a while trying to wrestle her down. The big one rose, moving over to Grape.
“Enough, my children. We wouldn’t want to scare our visitor away, now would we?” He said, as he tried to push them off Grape. “Now go play somewhere else, please.” He said as he helped Grape up. He lowered his head, inviting her up on his head. “Let me take you somewhere else, more quiet.” He said, as he pushed Grape up on his head. He spread his wings and looked up. “Hold on now, and it might get a bit cold, if it does please do tell me.” He said as he made a leap up in to the air and began to fly. The forest below them seemed to have no end whatsoever. After a while of flying Grape could see something up in the sky. When they came closer to it, she saw it was some kind of flying plateau, to her astonishment. The plateau was flat, and the only thing that could be seen on it was a stone. The big creature lowered his head to let Grape get off, and motioned her to sit on the rock.
“So, my child, what brought you to my glade?” He said, seating himself down in front of Grape.
“Well, I was hoping you could tell me that… The last thing I remember is that someone said something, and that whatever it was it wasn’t pleasant, that’s for sure.” Grape said.
“What you experienced was a fragment of someone’s imagination, seeking to devour. In your case it wanted your soul, unfortunately. But you should not worry, if they cannot make physical contact, you will not be in danger.” He said as he closed his eyes and lowered his head, almost like he was going to sleep.
“That still leaves my question unanswered, how did I get here? And does that thing have something to do with that weird wolf that visited me in my dream? Cross I think her name was.” Grape said, trying to figure out what this big creature could be.
Why did you do this to her, Cross? She is just a child, with a full life to live. He thought, hoping for a response from the wolf. “You should know that this was not supposed to happen, Grape. But this is something you will have to live with as it cannot be undone. Also, judging by your look, you want to know who, and what I am. Am I correct?” He said, still with his head resting on his paws.
Grape stared at him, who had judged her expression with his eyes closed. “I have no idea how you did that, but yes I would like to know.” Why me? She thought to herself, unaware that he could hear her thoughts.
“Very well, I will tell you who I am, and how I became that.” He said, adjusting his position to a more comfortable one. “It all started when I was just a cub, no older than you are now.”
The rain was pouring down in floods, hitting hard on the surfaces below. The forest was big, with tall trees. Everywhere there were creatures of nightmare, trying to catch one little cub who was running with all his might. The monstrosities were however faster than the cub, and were closing up on him quickly. From nowhere, a larger version of the cub came flying. It landed between the nightmares and the cub, holding them off as much as it could. “Run, Berol! Run while you still can!” She roared. In shock, Berol stared at the on-going battle. A loud roar followed by a wave of energy evaporated the nightmares. She turned around to get to her cub and take him somewhere safer. Caught off-guard, she got pinned down by something large and vile. A slight puff from the big monstrosity made her age faster, and eventually she became one with the earth below.
“You are mine now, little one…” The creature growled, walking slowly towards Berol. “Suffer…” The words seared in to Berols mind. A distant voice was heard, “Enough of this, you vile being. Your place is not here, go back to where you came from!” The voice roared. A bright flash lit up the forest. From nowhere, an avian landed in front of Berol. “You do not belong here.” The avian roared. The avian began muttering something, and as he finished the being in front of them was gone, nowhere to be seen. Berol fainted of exhaustion. He heard something talking to him in his mind. “This forest needs a guardian; you are the one to guard it. And for that you shall be eternal. Guard this forest well, child of the forest cerebri.”
**
Berol and Grape had returned to the tranquil glade. “All you need to know is that you shall not abuse it.” Berol calmly said, while resting his head in his paws. “Abuse? What do you mean?” Grape asked, looking slightly worried. Berol rolled over on his back and stared at Grape upside down. “You will know.” He replied, wagging his tail back and forth, trying to keep the smaller ones occupied. *Snap* A branch broke, drawing both Berol’s and Grape’s attention. From nowhere, Peanut came running and lunged himself towards Grape, hugging her. “Grape!! I’ve been looking all over for you! Thank god you’re safe!” Peanut exclaimed, still hugging her. Grape was glad to see Peanut, but slightly embarrassed. Peanut turned to Berol “Woah...” Was all he could say. “Peanut, this is Berol, a… friend.” Grape explained. Berol rolled over to his stomach once again, and looked at them both. “It is time for you to go back home now.” He said, looking almost playful. Before they could reply, they were back in their living room, staring at their TV.
Cross appeared behind Berol, looking at him. “Hello, Cross.” He said. Cross walked over to the front of him, and looked him in the eyes, “This was all masters plan, I did what I was told.” She simply explained, and in the blink of an eye, she was gone. I hope you did the right choice, Pete. Berol thought to himself.
Peanut was confused and looked at Grape for a more detailed explanation. “Care to explain?” Peanut said, crossing his arms. Grape sighed and tried to make it more comfortable before starting to tell Peanut what had happened. And so she began, she told him what happened and what they did. “I think dad told me a similar story once, about a creature with wings, protecting the forests of Babylon from darkness, but he said it was just fairytales.” Peanut said. Grape stood up and started to walk towards their front door “I’ll be right back, okay?” She told Peanut, opening the door and stepping outside. She thought about something Berol had told her earlier on, You do what you feel is necessary, your hands are used for simple directions. She saw a rock and walked over to it. She looked at it and thought Gah, I can’t believe I’m actually trying this. She raised her hand, palm facing the rock and let out a subtle “Fly.”
Peanut, curious as he is, had followed Grape to the door without her noticing it, and looked out the window at what she was doing. He saw some black kind of smoke swirl around her hands. He immediately got out and ran up to Grape, turning her around. “Grape? Are you okay?” He said with a worried tone in his voice. Startled, Peanut backed away from Grape. Her eyes were pitch black, and she grinned at Peanut. “G-Grape?” Peanut stammered, backing up even further. Grape started to walk towards Peanut, giggling manically. Just as she reach Peanut, she tripped and fell, knocking them both down. Grape looked up and noticed she was lying on top of Peanut. “Ugh… What happened?” She asked, rolling off Peanut. Peanut stood up and looked at her “You tell me.” Peanut replied, helping Grape up. Peanut helped Grape inside, since she seemed to be weak and helped her to their couch once again. “I think you should rest a bit more Grape.” Peanut sighed, and tucked Grape in and watched her drift off to sleep.
Grape was looking at Babylon Gardens from above, and she marveled at the sight of their peaceful neighborhood. Pets playing everywhere, laughing and having fun. She saw herself and Peanut play in their back yard, but it was more like Peanut was playing, and Grape was throwing a ball towards Peanut occasionally while reading a book. She saw Max approach her slowly, and pouncing her. She heard herself cursing a bit, but greeting Max shortly after. Grape smiled and sighed of happiness while looking at herself and Max snuggle on their porch. Her smile disappeared as she saw strange black holes in mid air appear everywhere, with shadowy creatures jumping out from every one of them. The next thing Grape saw was that the whole of Babylon Gardens was empty of pets, nothing but black mist covering their neighborhood, with all the houses on fire. The creatures looked up at Grape, “….Keeper” They shrieked, and flew towards her. A bright flash lit up the sky, and blinded Grape. When she opened her eyes again, she was facing a vile looking face, and two black eyes staring directly at her. “Argh!”
***
Grape’s sudden scream made Peanut jump. Grape lowered her head into her paws, Ugh, what’s wrong with me? She thought to herself. Peanut looked worriedly at her and moved closer.
“Okay, so you have some kind of power, ability or whatever now, right?” Peanut asked.
“If I’m not barking mad, I guess.” Grape replied as she looked at Peanut and wondered where he was going with this.
“Did uhm, that big thingie, Berol, tell you anything else than what you already explained?”
Grape took a moment to think and scratched the back of her head. “Hmm, something about not to abuse it, but that I already told you… Oh and something about my hands, use them for simple directions, or something.” Grape frowned a little. “Why?” She asked, sounding a bit irritated.
“Well, maybe we should explore it a little, to get a little more knowledge of it?” Peanut asked. Grape stood up and looked at Peanut and thought about his proposition.
“I guess we could try. But what if I black out again?” Grape worriedly said and sat down again. Peanut scootched over to her and put an arm around her shoulder, “Don’t worry, I’m here, right?” Peanut reassured Grape. Grape stood up and took a few steps forth,
“So, what do we do now?” She asked while rubbing her elbows.
Peanut looked at her, with one hand on his chin and one on his leg, looking like he was thinking. After a while, he snapped his fingers, “What did you do out there before you uhm, blacked out?”
Grape thought about it for a couple of seconds and remembered, “I lifted my hand and said Fly. Like this.” Grape lifted her hand and pointed her palm against Peanut, “Fly.”
Peanut yelped as he felt himself leaving the couch. He turned around and rolled in mid-air, but kept levitating. He looked over at Grape, “G-Grape! HELP!” He yelled.
Grape stared at Peanut, with pitch black eyes and a manic smile. She began muttering something in unknown tongue and did slow movements with her hands, and in a matter of seconds, shadows had enveloped her.
****
Grape raised her hand and pointed her palm towards Peanut and giggled manically. “Bahl sers.” She muttered which made Peanut higher than he was before, whining.
“G-Graape! P-put me d-down!” Peanut whined as he was struggling in the air, trying to get down. “T-this isn’t f-funny!”
“Bahl sers behel nor- *THUNK*” Grape was hit in the back of her head by a frying pan that was being held by her mother. Grape crashed onto the floor and Peanut onto the couch. Peanut rubbed his throat and sat down next to Grape. Peanut gently picked Grape up and held her in his arms. “Will she be alright, mom?” Peanut asked while gently rubbing the back of Grape’s neck.
“She’ll be a little sore when she wakes up, but other than that I think she’ll be alright.” Ms. Sandwich replied as she went to the kitchen again.
Everything was spinning. Black circles spinning around her head. Black circles that seemed to be fixated on her. She didn’t realize where she was and began running. *THUNK* She had run into a tree and fell to the ground.
Grape slowly began to open her eyes and saw Peanut and instantly hugged him. “Peanut, I’m scared…” She mumbled.
Peanut slowly sat her up and looked her in the eyes. “Don’t worry Grape, I’m here. And if you don’t want to, we don’t need to continue.” He said while caressing her cheek. He got up and helped Grape onto the couch and sat down next to her. “What do you want to do?” He asked.
Grape leaned back against the couch and looked up and sighed. “I don’t know… How do we make it stop? The thing that happens whenever I do something.” Grape asked. Peanut stood up and took a few steps fourth and spun around. “I don’t know, but this might be the consequence of the “abuse” of your newfound power?” Peanut said as he took on a thinking position.
Grape sighed and stood up. “As much as I hate to admit it, I think you’re right. Thanks.” She walked up to Peanut and hugged him again. “Now we just need to figure out what is considered abusing and not abusing…” Grape sighed and turned around. Peanut scratched his chin and snapped his fingers.
“Maybe you have to help someone!” He exclaimed and grabbed Grape’s hand and rushed outside. When they were outside, Peanut quickly began scouting the place for someone in need of help. They saw their dad doing something with their car and they got up to him. “Hey dad, you need help?” Peanut asked, pulling him out from under the car.
Grape frowned and shoved Peanut. “Peanut, a car is too big!” She whined. Peanut pushed Earl back in under the car again and apologized. He grabbed Grape’s hand again and ran off, looking for someone in even the slightest need of help. He spotted someone he’d never seen before, who apparently was trying to get a Frisbee out of a tree. They rushed up to him and greeted him. “Hi, I’m Peanut! And this is Grape. Uhm, do ya need help?” Peanut panted.
The cat had a pure white color on his fur, and two blue stripes running down his body. His eyes, tips of his ears and the tip of his tails were also blue. His fur seemed to be well groomed and he looked at Grape and Peanut with pleading eyes and turned towards them. “Uh, h-hi! I’m Blue.” He said as he bowed. “And well, yes. Could you help me get my Frisbee down please?” He pointed towards the Frisbee up in the tree, on the third branch to be exact. Grape stared into his clear blue eyes, unable to pull away. It was like he was trying to tell her something, but was unable to. Peanut waved a hand in front of Grape, trying to get her attention. “Grape? Hello!” He called out right next to her. Grape shook her head and rubbed her eyes.
“Oh sorry. The Frisbee yes, so how should we do this Peanut?” Grape asked as she turned towards Peanut. Peanut pointed towards the Frisbee.
“Do what you did earlier!” He exclaimed and positioned Grape in front of the tree. Grape sighed and raised her hand towards the Frisbee. As before, she muttered the three-letter word. “Fly.” She subtlety said. The Frisbee slowly began to levitate. Grape closed her eyes and lowered her hand, the Frisbee following the movements and fell to the ground. Blue watched in awe and tried to speak, but couldn’t. Grape opened her eyes and looked around. “A-am I normal?” She asked Peanut.
Peanut looked at Grape, whose eyes were glowing a faint white color. “Yeah, except for your white eyes.” Peanut giggled. Grape picked the Frisbee up and gave it to Blue. “Here you go.” She said as she handed it to Blue.
Blue took the Frisbee without hesitating and looked deep into Grape’s glowing eyes. “I-I have no idea how you did that, but that was SO cool!” Blue exclaimed. He did a lap around Grape and tried to see if he could find any wings or something similar. “What are you, an angel or something?” He asked.
Grape looked at Peanut, then back at Blue. “What makes you say that?” Grape raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. Blue looked her in the eyes again. (He’s smaller than both Peanut and Grape) ”Well, for starters, you just levitated the Frisbee down. Second, you have glowing eyes. Third, well you certainly look like you could be one.” Blue remarked.
Grape blushed a little, while Peanut felt jealousy creeping up, making him growl slightly. Peanut was just about to grab Blue but was stopped by a loud screeching sound. Grape turned towards the source of the sound and her eyes widened.

Uh.. so yeah, I doubt this update very much, I don't know why, but I just do.>.<
_______
Grape looked at what stood in front of her, its eyes making her cringe ever so slightly. It stared at her, like obsessed it started making it way towards Grape. Grape backed as it moved towards her, bumping into Peanut and Blue. She looked back at them and tried to push them away. “I think you guys should leave. NOW!” She shouted, still trying to push them away but noticing they both stood like frozen. She started to panic, trying to shake Peanut loose, but was knocked to the side by the creature behind her.
“No need to worry about them.” It growled, making its way towards Grape. Grape rubbed her head and backed away in panic, soon to feel her back against a tree. She looked around in panic, then back at the creature that was now in front of her, just next to Peanut and Blue.
The creature raised its massive paw and swung it towards Grape, making her shield herself with her arms, awaiting the blow which felt like an eternity. A soothing voice, sounding like it coming from nowhere spoke. “Ashes to ashes…” The voice spoke, in its tranquil monotone voice. The voice soothed Grape, which to her seemed impossible in this very moment.
Grape slowly opened her eyes, only to see the creature was no longer there. She stood up, confused, looking around while rubbing her head. She walked up to Peanut and Blue, the very presence of her un-freezing them, making them wake up in a gasp. She lunges towards Peanut and hugs him, letting out a sigh of relief. “Peanut, are you okay?” She asked in a concerned tone.
Peanut blushed slightly and hugged back. “Uh… I think I’m fine? I’m not entirely sure what happened, but I do think I’m fine.”
Grape let out a sigh of relief and broke the hug and turned around, to what now was an empty spot, the blue-striped cat that had been there was gone. “Uh… Peanut, did you see where he went?” Grape asked, looking confused.
Peanut tilted his head and scratched the back of his head. “No… No, I didn’t.” He replied, still a bit dizzy at what had happened.
Grape was staring at the spot where Blue had been. “He was here just a few seconds ago!” She exclaimed, gesturing towards the spot with her hand. She went up to the spot where he had been and jumped up and down twice and shrugged. “Oh well…” She sighed and turned back to Peanut. “It’s getting quite late; we should probably head back home.” She said, looking up at the already setting sun.
Peanut stood next to her and looked in her direction and smiled. “You’re probably right… Unless uh… Y-you’d like to stay a little and uhm… Watch the sunset?” Peanut stuttered, scratching the back of his neck while looking down at his feet.
Grape smiled and put her arm around Peanut’s sat down with him. She leaned her head against his shoulder. “I’d love to.” She whispered in his ear, making the blush he already had increase.
Peanut did the same, he leaned his head against hers and his smile widened as they watched the sunset.
With eyes wide open, he made his way around the streets of Babylon Gardens. The sun shone bright and blinded him as he threw the Frisbee up in the air and caught it. He looked around, trying to find something to do, but failed so and sighed. “Nothing to do around here…” he mumbled to himself as he sat down by a tree and began spinning the Frisbee on his finger. After a while, he began throwing the Frisbee up in the air instead, catching it when it came down. He threw it again, but this time it didn’t come down. He looked up, confused and saw it had landed on a branch up in the tree. “Darn it!” He exclaimed as he stood up and tried to leap up in to the tree. After a while of trying, someone spoke.
A dog and a cat… A purple cat, asked if he needed help. With a little bit of hesitation, the offer was accepted and in a heartbeat, the Frisbee was down from the tree, but how it got down was strange. He stood there, with his mouth open and stared at the cat and its glowing eyes. After what seemed to him like an eternity, everything froze. Everything but the cat… And the strange creature closing in on her. What Peanut and Grape didn’t know, was that Blue possessed a little bit of magic himself.
The creature stood there, right in front of them, ready to strike down on Grape. A million thoughts rushed through Blue’s head, but one was standing out from them all. ”What should I do?!” He thought to himself, over and over, ready to panic. Without thinking, he put one of his paws on one of the creature’s hind legs and closed his eyes. “Ashes to ashes… He mentally said. A sudden rush of magic roared through his arm and in to the creature, making it slowly disappear in to the thin air.
Grape’s eyes shot wide open and she gasped. “IT WAS HIM!”

****
Uh.. so yeah, I doubt this update very much, I don't know why, but I just do.>.<

Re: The Dreamkeeper
And that, my friend, is a excellent way to create suspense. Now I REALLY want to know if Peanut will be okay. Nice story ^^
I ship Grape&Peanut and support King&Bailey

Re: The Dreamkeeper
Really not bad! You might want to slow down when writing, as there are some spelling mistakes, but it's a really good premise. Can't wait to read more.
DOH HO HO WELL THEN
Re: The Dreamkeeper
Quite the intriguing plot you got there. I've always enjoyed mystical beings and their powers.
I'm pretty much captivated as to how this is going to go. There are so many possibilities leaving me anxious for the next!
And, in all honesty, I don't detect anything wrong with the story. As far as I'm concerned, the format, plot, etc., seems proper if not great but the story has yet to blossom in it's fullest. But based on what's there now, this is my opinion.
So keep going!
I'd like to know more.
