Creepy Pastas
I was scanning through the Slenderman thread and I realised something, "Why should Slendy-chan get all the love when there's other great Creepy Pastas like "Jeff the Killer" and "Ben"?" So I set up this much needed thread c:
In case you don't know Creepy Pastas are stories that are designed to scare or disturb the reader, the more popular ones being Slenderman and The Mothman (which got it's own film~).
So care to share any good ones?

Well there's always this.
Yes I'm aware this thread is for creepy Italian cuisine that is not the Slender Man, but that's all I know about.

One of my favorite creepypastas is Smile Dog. Just something delightfully horrific about those pictures...

Smile dog? Do I even want to know? It sounds like Smiley which legitimately terrifies me.

The creepypasta I'm the most familiar with is the pokemon cursed black legend. I admit this dog creeped me a little.

Re: Creepy Pastas
There are two other Pokemon Creepypastas that I know of. One is the story of "Buried Alive" Basically the story goes on that instead of the ghost of Marowak being the form you fight before getting to Mr. Fuji, that back before 1996, another "thing" took its place. A Zombie known as "Buried Alive" would have the "!" appear above a grave, saying, "come closer.......I am lonely.....Wanna play?" then a battle commences against a Zombie crawling out of the ground. It has a Gengar, a Muk, and two things called "White hands". It is said that if you beat it, the game freezes as no protocol was written for after that event. However if you lost, "Buried Alive" came back on the screen to say "Finally....Fresh meat...", the screen would darken, as sounds of something being "eaten" can be heard on the speaker. The final thing you see, is the Zombie, eating your character. It is also stated that by losing, the game was forever stuck like that, even if you turned the game off and back on, it went back to that sceen.angelusbr wrote:The creepypasta I'm the most familiar with is the pokemon cursed black legend. The second, is my personal fav, as it teaches a bit of a lesson. It is called "Lost Silver"

I just watched that Pokemon video, and it didn't really creep me out that much. It was weird, but not that creepy to me.

It reminds me fo the pokemon anime theory that says that Ash is always a 10 year old boy because he's in a coma.

Re: Creepy Pastas
Have any of you ever read You Awaken in Razor Hill? I'm not sure if it's technically creepy pasta, but it's a story that's close enough to one that I feel like I should share it anyway. It starts off more focused on comedy, but the world is still very dark and creepy, and by about the half way point it more than lives up to the title of 'creepy pasta'. It just gets weirder and creepier from there.
It's one of the most original stories I've ever read, and it's amazingly well-written.

Oh god that little story about Ash being in a coma was incredibly sad. Doesn't effect me much though now since anime Pokemon is just getting boring for me.
Call me Red or Harley, either is fine.

...I read the entire first page, and then gave up. I didn't understand anything at all. (I've got a level 85 human warlock, so I understood the WoW context at least, but not anything else)KJOokami wrote:Have any of you ever read You Awaken in Razor Hill? Re: Creepy Pastas
Well, that's kind of the point. It's (obviously) written in the style of old text-based RPGs and your character just woke up in an abandoned town with no idea what's going on. If you understood what was happening, it would ruin any chance for future elaboration and your character actually figuring out what's happened to the world.
I guess it's an acquired taste (most things I read tend to be that way, unfortunately), but it definitely does get better as the story progresses.

Reminds me of an Animal Crossing based sort of story that was super creepy and had in game photos to accompany it along with illustrated pictures. Something about the town you enter being a dream or whatever, been a while since I've read it.

Re: Creepy Pastas
This is my favorite. It's really short so I'll post it here
"The Portraits."
There was a hunter in the woods, who, after a long day hunting, was in the middle of an immense forest. It was getting dark, and having lost his bearings, he decided to head in one direction until he was clear of the increasingly oppressive foliage. After what seemed like hours, he came across a cabin in a small clearing. Realizing how dark it had grown, he decided to see if he could stay there for the night. He approached, and found the door ajar. Nobody was inside. The hunter flopped down on the single bed, deciding to explain himself to the owner in the morning.
As he looked around the inside of the cabin, he was surprised to see the walls adorned by several portraits, all painted in incredible detail. Without exception, they appeared to be staring down at him, their features twisted into looks of hatred and malice. Staring back, he grew increasingly uncomfortable. Making a concerted effort to ignore the many hateful faces, he turned to face the wall, and exhausted, he fell into a restless sleep.
The next morning, the hunter awoke — he turned, blinking in unexpected sunlight. Looking up, he discovered that the cabin had no portraits, only windows.
