Cookie coughs and pretends that she doesn't see Widget's hand. She looked around, "So, are we ready?" She asked everyone. She had nothing against Widget at all, no, he seemed very nice and she even thought he was good looking. No, she just was very uncomfortable with the notion of holding paws.

Widget walks for a few steps, still holding his hand out for the lovely lady cat to take.. he finally awkwardly places his arms behind his head, pretending to stretch.
Perhaps she is as hungry as i am, and is only thinking getting to the food shoppe.

It would have likely been easier for Blood to explain his actions if not for his pain-driven defensive drive telling him to attack anything that came close to him...

The two groups break into discussion of options to take, with Rav adding his opinion to the mix, among themselves...
Vendacious decides on a plan, He directs members of Amdijerfi to get some canisters from a cabinet and then to take up defensive positions to either side of him.
As he releases the two canines from the punishment pain. instead they are now feeling waves of pleasure coursing through them, along with a sense of warmth and well being.

The change in Blood’s defensive behavior was comparable to dousing a blazing fire with icy water. His growling ceased, and he fell into a limp, slouching posture, almost losing his balance in the new calming sense of euphoria. The shepherd’s breathing was still heavy from the earlier scuffle with Amdijerfi.

Blood lifted his head up and looked across the room at Rav and the aliens, mildly suspicious of the canisters some of them were holding. His expression had gone from irate, to drowsy and slightly apathetic in a matter of seconds. “Better…” He said in a calm tone as he fell back on his haunches on the floor where he stood.

The two dragonoid groups confer again, As Rav looks lost, then angry running his paws over his head.. As the groups talk among themselves.

One of Vendacious members goes over to a monitor and brings up a scan of Rav's head, pointing out the darkened areas. With Rav watching intently along with the rest of the pets, speaking when prompted without turning to address the rest of the pets.
Amdijerfi's Rav's, head was surgically altered in way, that allowed a chemical agent to be introduced, to deaden these areas in his brain.
Rav speaks, as the dragonoid points out the effected areas on the monitor.

From past invasive studies of your species, those areas effected seem to control anger/aggression, leadership/dominance, and creativity/higher thought.
However, the agent used to cause this deadening wasn't fully inactivated. It kept on creeping an spreading into non-targeted areas. This subject would have continued to degrade if Lord Vendacious had not taken action to correct and repair the damage inflicted.

Amdijerfi can not recall, when, who, or why this was done to his Rav member.
Altho other memories found, seem to subjest he was once just like subject Blood, in temperament and behavior. Which is why Lord Vendacious wondered if this was a common fault in this pet species?

Rav looks over at the Vendacious group, before turning to finally face the two loose pets, now kneeling in the floor.
Lord Vendacious, in reconstructing this ones mind, used there own minds construction as a template. Which resulted in the surprising effect of this subject being able to hear the mind-speak of Amdijerfi, and to join with them.

Lord Vendacious is now wanting to try to see if this realignment of pets brains can be repeated, allowing direct communication between the Dragonoids and their subservient species. Altho there is conflict? that this ones re-altering was.. is to invasive and dangerous to replete. seems this one died.. or nearly died several times during the mind reconstruction.
SO... there going to try to link the pets minds together, see if we can form a group, hive mind like they do. It's seems to be a lot more simple altering then this one endured.

Rav gets a toothy smile on his muzzle.
Bad pets deserve the punishment they get. As the good pets deserve the rewarding feelings they get.
This seems to be almost a direct translation from the big male leader of Vendacious.

Lucky had been luckily in the area of his house and it didn't take more than a minute before they were at the doorsteps, though Lucky knew that since they weren't in any warzone his father would want him to get his dislocation checked out by a vet, and he hated vets, he actually hated vets, dentists and any other type of civilian doctor, the only kind he could stand were military medical professionals, he just only trusted them as mostly vets had treated Lucky like he was a pup.

"Heheh Yes sir, he was at one of the local pets houses and would have been eaten, so for the better part of the situation I rescued and adopted him, which I hope is all right, isn't it?"

Kyle shook his head to try to clear the fog that had settled on his mind. In an instant, excruciating pain had transformed into blissful euphoria. The end result was that he was feeling a bit dazed as he tried to sort things out.

This did not feel right to Kyle. There was something unsettling about feeling so good so soon after feeling so terrible. To make matters worse, Kyle knew that this was an entirely artificial feeling forced upon him by someone he viewed as malevolent. In a way, the "pleasure" setting of the implant was every bit as torturous as the "pain" setting.

Kyle struggled to lift his head to view the large Dragonoid that had so recently punished him so severely for getting down from a table. Even through the forced pleasure of the implant, Kyle felt contempt for this creature. He attempted to restrain and hide his emotions as he spoke to the Dragonoid.
