Yes, but I am listening to the cover.

In my opinion, The Beatles version is much better.

I agree with you. Even in that, it's one of the best covers I've heard that changed the main genre.
Kinda makes them hard to compare.

Journey's awesome. Who do you think is the better singer: Arnel Pineda or Steve Perry? I think they both sound the same.

I think I found the most entertaining remix link...

I find that the most amusing remixes/covers are the ones that are completely different from the original genre. Like the work of Richard Cheese.

actually, if you look next to the description of the video, the second one is Neither group, but rather Paul Desmond.

Hey there Tom it's Bob

Hey there buddy hows it been?
Its been ok for me except that im a zombie

I really wish you'd let us in
I think I speak for all of us when i say I understand
why you folks are so reluctant to answer our demands
But an FYI
You're all gonna die
Screaming
All we want to do is eat your brains!
We're not unreasonable i mean no one's gonna eat your eyes
Screaming
All we want to do is eat your brains!
We're at an impass here, maybe we should compromise
(Yes i may hav gotten sum of the song wrong)

I think I should get some of the earlier Rise Against stuff. I have their 3 most recent albums, and think I should get some of the earlier ones. Anybody got any suggestions of which I should get?

Re: Music.
heh, I have 'The suffering and the witness', 'Appeal to Reason' and 'Endgame'. I missed out 'this is noise' by accident, and was really meaning anything before 'The suffering and the witness'.
Anyway, thanks a lot for the suggestion! I'll be on the lookout for that very soon. ^^

That band is really great. I discovered them on Last.fm, they're so underrated! Try listening some of their non-ballad songs, like Helldorado or Mean Man.TougeFoxJ.D.M. wrote:That's a pretty cool song. I need to look into this band some more.

Re: Music.
Really? Wow. I can't believe I never got to know that band even though I'm a big 80's band kind of guy. I'll learn about them some more...
This thread also needs some Def Leppard and Van Halen.....
Here's some Van Halen for now. The video for Def Leppard disappeared on me, so I'll try to find another one.

Styx and Queen, two of my favorite bands. Parents taught me who they are.
Re: Music.
Styx, Queen, Zeppelin.
First three bands I really enjoyed after listening to nothing but The Beatles for a few years (Those were the only CDs my parents really had).
Still love them! I sang "Stairway to Heaven" on a dare at senior prom. The best part was that the band, who had no idea what I was doing, joined in and played the background music! It was good times!
