In my opinion, The Beatles version is much better.

I agree with you. Even in that, it's one of the best covers I've heard that changed the main genre. :P

Kinda makes them hard to compare. :P

Journey's awesome. Who do you think is the better singer: Arnel Pineda or Steve Perry? I think they both sound the same.

I find that the most amusing remixes/covers are the ones that are completely different from the original genre. Like the work of Richard Cheese.

heh, I have 'The suffering and the witness', 'Appeal to Reason' and 'Endgame'. I missed out 'this is noise' by accident, and was really meaning anything before 'The suffering and the witness'.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the suggestion! I'll be on the lookout for that very soon. ^^

Really? Wow. I can't believe I never got to know that band even though I'm a big 80's band kind of guy. I'll learn about them some more...

This thread also needs some Def Leppard and Van Halen.....

Here's some Van Halen for now. The video for Def Leppard disappeared on me, so I'll try to find another one.

Styx, Queen, Zeppelin.

First three bands I really enjoyed after listening to nothing but The Beatles for a few years (Those were the only CDs my parents really had).

Still love them! I sang "Stairway to Heaven" on a dare at senior prom. The best part was that the band, who had no idea what I was doing, joined in and played the background music! It was good times!
