Well, shes not exactly a character, but i have had the image of a light blue cat with white under belly and dark blue stripes on her back, stuck in my mind for about a month.

Wow Laxan that awesome. I like how you drew out the arms, I never get the anatomy right on muscles.

I finished Cwitt's character all Housepets! like. I did a turn around because this is her first time being fleshed out. If there is anything wrong let me know and i'll fix it.

Here's Sleet's character. I find white hard to shade because it takes on the colors of the surroundings and lighting. If you want anything changed just shout out!

Anybody else with female characters?

Edit: Bam, changed the arm.

That's amazing, Kylar, I love it! Thank you so much!

The only thing I can think of is the left arm. It's kind of in a bizarre position, if that wouldn't be too hard to change. EDIT: Yes! That looks so great! *huggles*

Wow. There is a lot of just generally awesome stuff here. :D

Now, for those of you who use photoshop or something photoshop-like, would any of you be able to give me a quick description of how you outline and color your sketches? I'm trying to find a good way to do that, but it's not quite turning out the way I wanted. Help would be much appreciated!

When i tell people how i do my stuff they tend to look at me funny.

I don't have a tablet, so i scan a drawn image in and open it in Photoshop and use the mouse. On a different layer i create the line art with the Pen Tool's Stroke Path function and select brush in the drop down menu. You can set to to pen pressure to make it look hand drawn. Then block in color on a layer below that and you use the smudge to blend the colors.

and here are some video's
how I color
how I outline
