Coldest day of the year. That means that the temperature outside is around 0°C.
Also, I'm not posting much in this forum because I'm addicted to CWCki. Seriously, that wiki is hiralous and interesting. It's about that crazy Sonichu creator, Christian Wetson Chandler, so it's mostly rated PG13 and some pages are R.
Also, is really hard to type in a phone with gloves on xD

I heard Hamilton did pretty well?
I honestly don't understand why that's good. I trust that it's good, but having not seen it, I'm not sure what makes it so good!

from what I understand, that's actually something from Hamilton. or if not, it fits enough with the feel of the musical that it would make sense. so if the idea intrigues you, maybe check it out sometime if you can.

Yep cabinet battle #1 is just like a historically accurate rap battle about the debate about debt after the revolution. And throws mad shade at tomas jefferson. Its really cool.Sleet wrote:Wait really? Or are you pulling my leg?

Wish I would have watched it. I'm not really interested in... Uh... Whatever those awards are for. I do love James Corden though, and I saw he was the host.Saturn381 wrote:So I watched the 70th Tony Award tonight, and it was great!
EDIT AS TO NOT DOUBLE POST!
I am currently on my old Wondows XP computer from 2001. Yeah, the modern internet still works on Internet Explorer from 2001. I got a few MS DOS games on floppy disk, and I wanted to try them out. Didn't quite work, so I wanted to see what sites worked. This is one of them.
Fun fact: This is the very first computer I ever used in my life.
Also, please help me. Google doesn't work on here. I have to use Bing.

I installed it, but opening one tab uses up all the whopping 128mb of ram that computer has. I had to uninstall it and stick with Internet Explorer, can't use up all 15gb of my hard drive space on programs that can't even be used.tsMKG wrote:Have you tried using Firefox?KingFan13 wrote:I am currently on my old Wondows XP computer from 2001. Kind of amazing how far computers have come in just 15 years, eh?
Heck, the same could be said for technology in general.
I haven't a clue how any of it actually works, not that I really wanna know, any attempt at an explanation would probably confuzzle the heck out of me, it just works, and that's all I care about.

The main thing that kills the old IE versions is HTML5, which I believe Google uses wholesale. You'll have to look for an HTML5 compatible browser.
Firefox (and admittedly almost any program) in recent times has become quite bloated so finding something that'll run on 128 megs will be a hassle in and of itself, but the closest bet I could make that might work is K-Meleon. If the most modern version doesn't work you can probably roll back to an older version without issue- security won't be much of a concern for you since you're already running Windows XP anyway. Just avoid putting anything sensitive in!

Again, they subscribed to HTML5 for all their animation needs and all that. Old Internet Explorer versions don't support HTML5, so Google won't display properly.Sleet wrote:How does Google not work? It's like the most compatible website in the world...

Re: Chat Thread 42: The Answer To Life, The Universe and Eve
Which is strange because when I entered with a non HTML5 browser (talking about months ago), it would show the "old" page that wasn't HTML5. Did they get rid of the "old" page?Mickey the Luxray wrote:Again, they subscribed to HTML5 for all their animation needs and all that. So while I was in New York City, I saw the musical Fun Home at the Circle in the Square Theatre. I loved the soundtrack before I saw the show, but now that I've actually seen it, I've pretty much added the show to my list of favorite musicals.

Bro, the way society thinks...I'm more likely to die from slipping over a stick of butter then I am to become a Borg. And even if the project is successful important aspects will be cut out and it won't be worth the time.

I'm the type of person who sees the benefits of new technology, but isn't always for it. I can see why companies are making new phones with better hardware and software, but if your phone is only two years old, why do you need to upgrade?
I also think that technology may be moving slightly too fast. Just 20 years ago, the best graphics we could get in video games was 16 bit. Now we are getting close to 4k games.
All these advancements in technology are great, but we don't really need the technology. I can hardly tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, I don't see why everything needs to be 4k (unless you have a REALLY big TV).
Then again, I'm also stuck in the past. I'm 17, but most of my game systems are from before I was born. There were some great games in the 90s. I also buy a lot of VHS tapes now ($0.50 at the thrift store for great movies), and I really want a laserdisc player. All this old stuff is fun and cool to use.
