Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon. It's not nearly as powerful or interesting as you think.

Purposefully opening yourself up to suggestion is not dangerous so long as you know beforehand what you're doing. Where people got in trouble with hypnosis in the past is that they assumed that all images brought on by hypnosis were real memories. This has since been proven to be false; hypnosis can create false memories, but only so far as you believe them to be memories (you don't need hypnosis to create false memories, after all).

And, hypnosis only works if the recipient is willing and susceptible.

You can get the exact same experience by either having a strong imagination or being completely insane. Don't pretend like there's something mystical about it at all. So stop acting crazy.

I am glad you two came to an agreement. I seriously doubt that this actually would mess up your mind that much, making you go insane and what'not. But sure, I do believe there might be something out there that is harmful/supposed to harm you, you never know what us human come up with.

But whenever I do something that involves my mind, I am very careful, to keep myself san- waaait a second... I'm not sane on any level <.<. To keep myself who I am. There, that's better :3

I can vouch for that last statement. I have a strong enough imagination to imagine being a fur-bearing mammal, and I can "feel" appendages that don't exist, like tails, ears on the top of the head, sharp teeth, paws, differently-shaped bones, and etc.

I'm still a little skeptical about hypnosis but the above only gives me a legitimate reason not to bother with something like that--it's unnecessary to reach the final result.

You say 'feel'... is that only when you want to or a constant sort of thing. (/me is trying to attune a sort of mental radar...)

Anyway... I tried the one on Newgrounds, and it failed epicly. Though I think I was paying more attention to the swirly circle than the guys voice...

Mercury is also a natural phenomenon but I wouldn't recommend drinking it.

I'm personally staying away from this junk, 1. Cos I'm not that hardcore a furry, and 2. Anything that makes you see, hear, or remember things that aren't there, or make you act in a way you aren't meant to is just plain creepy, not to mention the possible side effects of it. I'm no expert on hypnosis, but very few of the rest of us on here are, so I'd advise you guys not to try messing with your brains.

Me, Tobee and Darkhearts all tried a file simultaneously and I don't feel any different. The file was a mystery file for furries, and in the file the guy says "After wards you wont remember what this file is about, blah blah" but we all remembered lol... I won't describe what it's about, incase anyone wanted to try it...

Just cause that part failed doesn't mean it did overall... I'm still wary of touching my tap lamp, cause the file (trying not to be too spoliery) said/does something about a certain animal and their playfulness.

Docter, I don't think there's any point to this form of hypnosis (unless you're doing it to become the animal inside...I'm not that furry).

In other words, it's like a game. A mind game. At least in my oppinion.
