Sorrow: I have declared war on all nail clippers today after one attacked me without warning. I bite my nails so they're always short so the evil vile monster decided to go for my flesh instead. It hurts so bad ;_;

Joy: Fantastic tournament weekend. Great Starcraft 2 tournament and great League of Legends tournament. Coverage, casters, stream stability, all fantastic. Made for a great weekend.

That I get to repeat next weekend with MLG. This time, with some friends. It shall be quite fantastic as well! :D

Also, a late Joy that I'm still super happy about: Kill Heroic Ragnaros finally, after almost two months on the boss. Great fight, super fun. Wiping on it, not so much.

actually, a small amount of perfectionism thing is a very good trait for an artist unless you have a very strict time limit. my mom is a perfectionist in her art.

Thanks Chewy and Seth, a lot. I'm trying not to feel like a total failure right now.

You're NOT a total failure. If you were, you wouldn't be worried about feeling like one.

Not true, you've done one thing right--you recognized your problem. If you didn't recognize what you'd done as wrong, you'd be worse off. Besides, tomorrow's another day.

Joy: The other day a friend of mine (well, more a friend of a friend really, but I can see I will be getting along with her though) read my prologue of a story I am writing and she loved it! (she's apparently a big reader and has read lots of books, someone like that is what I need and I am thankful for her support).

I am still not completely happy with it though but I am glad I am going the right way to making a good story.

Sorrow: I came across something which reminded me of bullying the other day. People who bully others, who take pleasure in making other people miserable, is something I have always hated. However, bullies can not help themselves, clearly, but what really irritates me is when people witness bullying and do nothing to stop it. Or even worse they dismiss it as "character building"! I spent a while thinking about this last night, things like this have always bothered me, and I wish I could do something. People who get bullied could develop all kinds of problems, and allowing it to continue makes those problems grow worse. There was nothing I could do regarding what reminded me of this issue, but there were others who could have at the time (it was something that happened in the past that I found but it still concerned me), why didn't they intervene?

(sigh) Anyway, I just wanted to vent out, sorry if I blithered on a bit.

Joy: This is something that happened last week at that otaku convention I was talking about. I was in a soft combat thingy with people from my school that hardly know me and I couldn't find my weapons of choice (two short swords) so I chose two katanas (the guys running the event approved since they run a weekly soft combat event that I go to so they knew me) and I started pwning those guys from my school. They got jealous and said that I wouldn't be able to beat them with those katanas and they dared me to use something else. It was then that I revealed that I am not left-handed as I saw that someone put the short swords back and I opened a can of butt kicking on them... Good times...

*hugs* I know the feeling, but you've done at least a few things right! You're just focusing on the bad stuff right now, because you may have had a big slip up that made you see the other smaller slip ups you've had. It's okay, you just need to get out of this state of mind!

Joy: I know something important is gonna happen! (still don't know what it is yet, or when it's gonna happen, for that matter >.>)

Sorrow: . I was denied the love of my life in an unchangeable way when Erin died. I haven't had any feelings for one person since I lost her. Then, well, then I met someone. but it was an impossible relationship. it seemed I was again denied something i wanted. Although I don't like them as much as I loved Erin, it's still kind of hard, what, with them being the first person I've had any feelings for since her death. I've been so lonely since she died, that I was desperate for love, yet I never found it... I've always been a sucker for love, but i never had it. Then I had Erin. i was so happy just to be around her, seeing her smile could melt my heart like butter. Her laugh could spread like wildfire, and she never had a mean thing to say. She helped out everyone and anyone in need, no matter what. She would be late to Latin class sometimes, because she had helped someone pick up their books or something. The passion I felt-rather, feel for her is beyond words. I never even got to hold her hand. I didn't get to brush her hair behind her ear when she was upset, I never got to hug her. I never got to do any of the things that I longed to do, I didn't get to tell her how I feel, I never got to lovingly caress her sweet, tender face, I never got to look into her eyes and tell her 'I love you.' Oh, her eyes... they were literally like sparkling gems. When she smiled, her eyes would light up instantly. it was a wonderful sight, seeing her smile. I remember one thing very fondly: I was goofing off in Latin class, and she came up behind me and jokingly slapped the back of my head and told me to 'Focus on the darn work, Carl!' She never got to know my new name. But I have one memory that I hold so dear, if I were to lose it, I would die. The very last time I saw her, she was smiling. Smiling and laughing, blissfully ignorant to what was to come. She had a sparkle in her eyes, and I looked back at her, and tried to wave, but she didn't see, and the crowd in the hallway pushed me along. The next thing I can remember is being at home, waiting to hear about her condition, and having my whole world shattered. The love of my life, gone, in the blink of an eye.
