Food for thought: Parnok is called the Spearbearer. possibly from the Spearbearer Tribe... wonder if he's a future leader?

I kind of doubt Peanut (or, more importantly,
Rick) had that in mind when he devised Spot's character design. As far as I remember, Spot has remained visually faithful to the wardrobe he was originally drawn in. As for the Pridelands characters, they have always appeared in tribal clothing when depicted visually. Hmm.

And, of course, outside of this imagined reality animals rarely wear clothing...

Cue much drama about Spot's insertion next time.

This makes me feel much better about myself. And I'm sure Buck is thrilled, too. *pokes lightly*

Also, there have been a lot of questionable comments on the recent comics. I think they've been contained largely to the comic pages, but I am sure I've seen a couple here, as well.

Well, you have to wait a bit longer. Probably about six hours and 37 minutes. = P

Since I don't know what you're waiting for, though, it may be significantly beyond that timeframe.

Well, Housepets! updates a lot more frequently than almost any other Web comic. It's not that much of a wait. *laughs*

Rick treats us exceptionally well by any standard.

Housepets! is second only to LICD in updates(daily)...at least to my knowledge, but your right. Rick is awesome!

Also, Housepets! is better (in my opinion).

His regularity is indeed remarkable.

The only one with more dedication I can think of at the moment is Mookie, but let not talk of him anymore, like, never.

I think the reason that this comic gets updates so much makes me exited for the next comic.
If it was once a week, I would discard it and partly forget about it till the next week.

like this, im glued to my computer screen.

Sorry to hear about your computer crash Rick. I hope you weren't to far along in making the strip when it happened. Having to redo things you already did can be really frustrating. And personally, I don't think you need to try to cram the strip back into your schedule today. You've got other things you need to do, and you give us a lot already. Though we are always eagerly awaiting your next strip, we'll survive until Monday. At least that's my opinion on the matter, such as it's worth.

Your post makes it seem like Rick is habitually late with the comic. In nearly two years of Housepets!, the comic has been delayed less than half a dozen times. Additionally, the more recent comics require a bit more effort than the normal Housepets! style. Give the man a break, he deserves at least one.

Also, a computer foul-up can happen to anyone.

Sorry, it's hard to discern sarcasm and facetiousness on the Internet.

*sighs* I bold other members' usernames in my posts. It's an old forum etiquette thing from a Web site I worked for way back when.
Rick is the administrator, here labeled by a crimson tag. I use that color to reflect his status as such. This has been discussed previously, in some detail, [[here]].

Anyway, anyone think Tarot is getting tired of being beaten up by Peanut? I mean, if she's running all the characters except Illaya, Parnok, and Spot the Superdog, isn't she technically everyone Spot has punished so far? *laughs*

Therefore I suggest adapting the Elcor way of speech.

[Genuinely surprised] Oh, there's a new blog post from Rick. [Mildly embarassed] I must have overlooked it.
