Let's make some conspiracy theories!
Specifically, what are some mildly embarrassing things the Housepets say, think, or do that they wouldn't want to get out? I'll start.

King really likes to get his claws done. He pretends he's only going because he likes to spend time with Bailey, but somehow he's never missed a salon appointment.

I think the one obvious one that comes to mind for many is that Peanut had a crush on Grape once he found out Grape was a female though I'm not sure how he WOULDN'T have known as her pre-adoption name was "Princess Periwinkle". Anyway I believe only Grape, Tarot and maybe Max know about the crush.

I think you're missing the point. The point is to make something up that's not canon, but MIGHT be. Like this:

Everyone knows that Grape likes dog treats, but nobody knows that Peanut likes cat treats. He sometimes steals from Grape's stash when she's not looking. Grape knows, but doesn't say anything because she's always stealing from Peanut's stash anyway.

Well in that case then, something I know isn't canon but might be is something I always thought would make Kevin more well-rounded as a character. Unbeknownst to anyone, including his girlfriend Sasha he has a secret collection of stuffed animals somewhere in the house that he sometimes plays with.

Yeah, well ever since the butt-grabbing incident, Dallas has a crush on Grape and fantasizes about moving in to comfort her after Max dumps her. Even if that WERE to happen, he wouldn't be able to work up the nerve, so it's doomed to remain a secret fantasy.

Just came up with this one rather recently and had been waiting all day to post it. LOL Jessica has gotten sucked into live reality television shows and watches all of them that she can find because she is a VERY big fan of anything that is an offshoot of it.

She proceeded to get really drunk and tried to get everybody else there to do the Electric Slide with her which is why she completely ABSTAINS from orange soda.

Jack ACTUALLY lost his arm by tripping on a rock, landing on the road, and getting run over by a child on a tricycle, then refusing to get it looked at until the break was infected and had to be amputated to save his life. The child may or may not have grown up to be Lois.

Mungo went to build-a-bear and made a plush that looks exactly like Fox. He keeps it in his bed and practices being gentle with it so he doesn't accidentally hurt the real Fox. It has been repaired a great many times.

There was a time from before Bailey moved to Babylon Gardens when she lived on the farm with her previous owner that she was REALLY fat. She doesn't like to talk about it.

Back when King was Joel and Joel was a teenager, he used to put on fake dog ears and a pin-on tail and walk around the house. He was never brave enough to leave the house with it, but did get caught by his father once. They never spoke of it again.

Keene watches soap operas as he is a big softie and cries at the emotional parts that come up. Breel and Enby know but he swore the both of them to secrecy about it and threatened to sick his Goon Squad on Enby if he ever blabbed.

Draig saw Peanut once and felt inexplicably drawn to him. She had a secret crush on him for a while, but couldn't explain why. Obviously she couldn't act on it, being a kit, and never told anybody.

Jack sometimes has really bad gas at night for some reason and can't help it. There were many times when Elaine kicked them out of their room because it is close to lethal.

King really enjoys it when Bailey picks him up and carries him away, but he always pretends to be upset when she does it because he's worried that if she knew how much he liked it, she wouldn't do it anymore.

Whereas Rex likes to secretly bake desserts in his spare time and share them with his owners and their friends, Bino is a good cook and likes to do it but doesn't let anybody know as he thinks its a girlie hobby.

Lester is famously an extreme anime nerd, but secretly his absolute favorite anime is Sailor Moon. When he's alone, he sometimes cosplays as Usagi around the house. He even pretends to do the transformation scene.

When Grape goes out in the car with Earl and Jill just like some dogs she likes to stick her head out the window and pant like one. Only Peanut knows this and she threatened to remove his vocal cords if he ever told anybody.

Ralph acts all tough and straight-laced in public, but in private he's a real goofball. When he's alone, he likes to practice his stand-up comedy routine, despite having vowed that he will never, EVER let the existence of said routine get out.

Simon has a crush on the Milton's own personal veterinarian that looks after them and make sure they are healthy and nothing is wrong with them. To that end he sometimes PRETENDS to be sick so he can see her despite the fact that she knows by now he is probably faking.

Bino at one point got arrested because he really needed to use the bathroom so he did somewhere and tried to do it in secret. Turns out he ended up relieving his bladder BEHIND a car that was driven by a police officer so he was sent to the pound for that. Fido was also embarrassed which was the only reason why he covered it up for him.

Breel will take with him to his second grave that his first life was NOT as a marten. Negabreel uses this knowledge as leverage to get Breel to do things.

Sometimes when Tiger is hungry and there is no food around he will go sneak through the trash of his neighbors to see if there is anything left in there. He times it just right so that he avoids the raccoons and only Marvin knows much to his great disgust.
