Bailey's Surname

Post by GingaDensetsuAleu »

So within Housepets, the pets take on the surname of their owners, I.E. Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly Sandwich.

Even King goes by Milton because the ferrets are technically-but-actually-not his owners.

By that logic, Bailey's surname would be Lindberg because she's owned by Bill Lindberg.

However, Bailey's married to King. So would that effect her surname? Discuss.

Bailey would actually have possibly gone through THREE different surnames if she had changed her name to King's when they got married. She was originally owned by Bill's relatives but we don't know if they shared the same last name as him and I don't think we knew the actual relation. So when she was being raised by them she could have had a different surname. Then when Bill got her she became Lindberg. I do believe since King is more traditional since he became a pet she would have taken Milton and the pups probably have Milton too.

Unrelated but Fox and Bailey like Bino and Joey are related twice. Fox and Bailey biologically are cousins but now they are adoptive siblings. Fox is their pups biological first cousin once removed and adoptive uncle. Bino and Joey are biological brothers and adoptive cousins since their owners Jeff and Jake are brothers. And no, Ryan is not related to Jeff or Jake so Fido isn't their adoptive anything.

On a related note, the fact that Fido, Bino, and Joey are biological siblings and they all live in the same neighborhood indicates a high probability their mother lives or lived in that neighborhood as well.

I always wondered if Fido, Bino and Joey were all full-siblings to each other or if there were two or three fathers since puppies in the same litter can have different fathers and I am sure that whoever their mother was didn't practice monogamy. If I had to take a guess, I would say that there were two different fathers and Joey is just Fido and Bino's half-brother.

Or, a rumor that I once put forth a few years ago but probably wouldn't happen because its a bit too soap opera-y and Rick might not like it going that way is that they ARE all full-siblings but there was a fourth half-brother born between Bino and Joey. A half-brother fathered by a Canadian Pointer maybe?

I just know Bino would have a massive coronary if it turns out Peanut is his half-brother. Peanut does look VERY similar to Fido, Bino and Joey.
