I do like how we're seeing a more vulnerable side of Kitsune in comparison to his trickster/lovable side we're all used to. Same time, he and Kix really do make a cute couple and I do hope we see them stay together when this arc is over.
Well, I guess he was scared into inaction, even if not by the kits being left behind. Unfortunately, there were good options for him to pursue as far as action, so this is definitely a case when doing something is better than doing nothing. Unless he's presently so totally powerless that he couldn't even acquire a few handheld radios.
Looks like a really complicated thing now... Kix is saying something good, Great Kitsune should just deal now, like a mortal. Maybe he should also remember to have faced this issue in the many times he was a mortal. It's indeed like that, Craig. And right, you foxes are nocturnal creatures, so afternoon is your sleep time.
Got to love how Kix now has no patience or chill with Kitsune after everything that happened and is being very blunt with him in regards to his fears about messing up.

After all of this is over and Kix wants to join the ECP if it is still around after the mess that Steward is making of it, she could easily get a job as a psychologist.

Well of course she would be after realizing the situation that Kitsune is plunging them all in. I would also be annoyed if he didn't try to do anything.
Millard Fillmore - Fittingly, perhaps the least known/though about US President, right up there with Franklin Pierce. Although, he does remind me of a certain strip in the funnies section of my local paper when I was young - Mallard Fillmore. Still going, surprisingly. Syndicated strips have a tendency to do that.
I didn't even know what Mallard Fillmore was until you mentioned it. Looked it up and found out it got the axe in 2019 because of some sort of controversy (which isn't surprising as what little I've seen so far of the comic itself was just... yikes) This is the first time I've heard of something like this happen to a newspaper strip, most of them are extremely bland and safe to appeal to the biggest market (looking at you Family Circus and Garfield...)
