Gotta love the Spongebob reference in the title text. (at least I think it's a reference)

I am curious. Where is it a shortcut to? I'm guessing Kitsune just wanted to get them out of the way because they don't know what's at stake, but that's my guess. I have no idea where they are.

They been ret-conned out of the comic. Temporarily. :3
Also, I'm certain that is not a show quote. That is a general escape quote x3

Never trust a Kidsune,
even when he’s on your side,
he just might have to trick you,
just to keep his pride.
This is like that Old ‘Doctor Who’
or perhaps the Twilight zone.
Only one thing is clear -
The nerds are on their own.
Dallas scans for life
as Joey looks extra blue.
Does it mean truth’s dawning?
Is this all really true?
((Doctor Who:- Warriors Gate is largely set in a pure white set, as is episode one of Doctor Who:- The Mind Robber.))

Nah. They're in Kitsune's Realm. Remember, Maxwell ended up in a Variant made by Dragon and found Dragon's Bedroom when she was feeling Miserable.GameCobra wrote:Rick's closet.Gbr23 wrote:"So where are we ?"

This might mean he's likely going to tell them what da Hek is going on and what to do... As well as giving them a Flamin' Power Boost... Which if it happens, tells me that they're going to win and I'm going to have a Fit. Why? Because it would Mean he's Biased because they're nerds, and we've seen them get through easily, WITHOUT EVEN REALIZING IT'S NOT A HOLODECK or that they're Even in Danger!
However, if they leave without a Power Boost/Avatar status/being right next to the artifact, then I'll let it slide, because at least he'll give all teams a chance, and for them to actually get better as people.

John, I think the penny drops for Joey here. He may have to pretend it hasn't, however, to maintain his own sanity.

I was referring to Dallas and Lester. I know that Joey and Squeak suspect it's real.Welsh Halfwit wrote:John, I think the penny drops for Joey here. He may have to pretend it hasn't, however, to maintain his own sanity.

Speaking of Dallas, I wonder what his tricorder is showing him.

Wait, is Kitsune wearing a crop top?? Like I didn't already have a huge crush on him...
Re: 2017/09/13 – Quick This Way
Well, hopefully it doesn't work like the ACTUAL Matrix, or we'd likely have an Arsenal's worth of weapons or Rows upon rows of Dr Pepper in the next few seconds... Hopefully pets can drink it safely if that's the case.Argent wrote:Speaking of Dallas, I wonder what his tricorder is showing him.

Oh, wait, Orange Soda's a Pet's Alcohol. What's to say Dr Pepper's not the same?

Honestly, I think this is where GK reveals his plan to the group, but afterwards, he'll 'wake them up'.

Oh, great... help, Kitsune? Can't say if you helped them or not... You old kitsune-troll! That's really secret, indeed. Okay, you're all safe from Maxwell's threat, but, where are you now? Speaking of Maxwell, he already experienced to be in that white space, indeed... Now I'm thinking, won't you need to "wake up" to be out from there? If it's so, Joey's team will be out from the game, and Peanut's team can easily win...

Isn't that the same white void that Maxwell ended up in in that one story arc?

Question..... That musical note... Whats that supposed to actually be? a whistle?
Re: 2017/09/13 – Quick This Way
Typically that kind of musical note in a talk balloon implies whistling. Good trick for a dog.

between Kitsune, Dallas' almost-red-shirt moments so far, and the Void, I'm kinda reminded of a TNG episode...
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Ah, yes, the first of the 'redemptive' Q stories. Where he was trying to be a good guy - somewhat. Co-incidentally it wasn't long after he'd been his irritating old self on Deep Space 9 - and Commander Sisko floored him with a punch.Buster wrote:between Kitsune, Dallas' almost-red-shirt moments so far, and the Void, I'm kinda reminded of a TNG episode...

DS9 came just after TNG chronologically.
But yeah i always considered Q to be rather benevolent in that he always was pushing them to be there best and even outright offered to help at times but still alowed them to make there own mistakes. He just always came across as sort of like a father figure.

Re: 2017/09/13 – Quick This Way
Not quite. Seasons 1&2 of DS9 were contemporary with seasons 6&7 of TNG. Therefore his appearance in Ds9 comes before the episode shown above and some wonder if the new respect he seems to have for Picard is partly because of his experience with Sisko. "You HIT me! Picard never hit me!"Adoring Fan wrote:[/quoteDS9 came just after TNG chronologically.

DS9 starts six months after the battle of Wolf-359, so there is some overlap.
