Re: Doctor Who
So, I watched the first season of Torchwood.
It took a few episodes for me to get into it, but now, I'm pretty attached to all the characters. (mostly Toshiko and Ianto)

Re: Doctor Who
I prefer Torchwood to Doctor Who myself. I still need watch that myself. I just got really into the 5 day special personally.
Re: Doctor Who
Doctor Who is much more fun, even though their based with in the same reality. I just love that Torchwood is Doctor Who scrambled around.

Well considering Jack Harkness is one of the Dr's companions, I don't doubt it!

OMG, Doctor Who is Awesome/Brilliant!
I love the beginning of the most recent episode in season 6, where Rory faces the cybermen fleet; the conversation is simply brilliant!

Re: Doctor Who
Gah! Whovians, help me! I've already bought the first two episodes of Series 6 on iTunes, but I just learned that the SVS/Blu-Ray sets for it are coming out July 17th! I can't decide whether to wait on that or continue on with my iTunes!
Re: Doctor Who
That was a great scene. :3MartinSS wrote:I love the beginning of the most recent episode in season 6, where Rory faces the cybermen fleet; the conversation is simply brilliant!
"WHAT IS THE DOCTOR'S MESSAGE?"
*everything behind Rory explodes*
" ... Would you like me to repeat it?"
In fact, that was just a great episode in general.
Whovians? Can't say I've heard that one before. Anyway, that depends on two things: cost, and how much you care about video quality. iTunes would probably (and I can't be sure of this) be cheaper, but Blu-Ray looks nicer, and may or may not be easier to watch. I think.naylorfan90 wrote:Gah! Whovians, help me! I've already bought the first two episodes of Series 6 on iTunes, but I just learned that the SVS/Blu-Ray sets for it are coming out July 17th! I only knew because the awesome book "Doctor Who and Philosophy" (available at any Barnes & Noble) already spoiled it for me.
Anyway! Just watched "The Rebel Flesh" and "The Almost People" and oh my gosh I didn't see that coming!

So, I'm not really a fan of the "split the season into two seven-episode halves" they seem to have decided to do.

Re: Doctor Who
Yeah. I forgot there was a new season for a while (Terrible, right?), so when I remembered I went all 'Holy crap I HAVE to watch it all!' So I did.
Then I heard they split it, and I spent the rest of the day being a very sad panda.

'The Doctor's Wife', that episode made my heart go all mushy. They were so cute together! But I was so sad when she died in the end.

Yeah, that was a very good episode. Although, weirdly the TARDIS kinda reminded me of Johnny Depp's wife, I forget her name...

So, I saw the trailer for the next season, and I'm pretty excited! I can't quite tell exactly what was going on (Nazis! Weeping angels! Cybermen! The Silence! Hitler!) but it looks awesome.
August 27th, people! =D

Int the CIA headquarters, they were watching a video of Oswald Danes dying, but it was auto tuned. You don't really hear it much, but i thought the idea was amusing.Mareks wrote:Oswald Danes Autotune? did I miss something...?Cwitt wrote:I'm really loving Miracle Day so far.

So gang, the next half of series 6 is almsot upon us. Which Doctor Who villain are you looking forward to new episodes with? The Cybermen? The Silence? The Weeping Angels?
Personally, as awesome as the Silence are, I can't wait for the Weeping Angels. This will be Rory's first encounter with them!
