I have yet to play Black Ops but many aspects of WAW SP were awesome, like how they created a dark and apocalyptic feel to the levels (and, yes, also the Russian music, love it!), so I'm looking forward to playing Black Ops to see how Treyarch improved on that.
They did a pretty darn good job improving for Black Ops...and if this is what they can do now, I can't wait to see what the next Treyarch one looks like! Plus, the music for the Treyarch games is always so freaking good!

+1 to that. They did it so well for WAW. Some games really nail it with the music, the most immediate one I can think of is Fallout 3. I do find myself leaving the radio on a lot. "Lets go Sunning" is good for relieving the tension when exploring the really scary other vaults.

I like the music as well, especially the BGM during some of the multiplayer matches.

A friend recommended me the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Someone had played it or knows something about the game. I need some opinions before buying it.

Its a very unique game, very spooky, a few good scares, I'd recommend it.

Get it now though, cause the sale on it ends tonight.

The only nessasary sequal to a PS2 game

Post by Fidelo »

I have been around the internet and guess what i found? Teenagers complaining about there not being a part three to kingdom hearts. Well boo-hoo. There is acually only one Ps2 game that i believe should havee a sequal. Dark Cloud 2. This is the most fun RPG on the Ps2 or pretty much any consel and it never gets as much love as kingdom hearts, even though leel five work their buts off to make it better. Why? Disney lisencing. Now if any of you have played the game and love it as much as i do, please reply. If you just like it reply. If you haven't played it, rent it and then reply. If you like kingdom hearts more, you haven't played this game.

Don't mini-mod. Nobody even reported this as a duplicate. *peers*

As you can see, I blindly stumbled into the thread and merged it with the pre-existing one.

Well, I'll try out Dark Cloud 2. Ya, it's amazing how people can just ignore games that probably took days to finish to be left without respect...

I've played both Dark Cloud 1 & 2, and I can very honestly say I love Kingdom Hearts a great deal more.

How could you say kingdom hearts is better, that game is fun but lacks originality. All it is is a poorlyconstructed rpg where you find skills that you can equip all of, so their is no choice of custimization there and the game is just too easy in all forms of combat. what depth is in that combat.

To the question of what kind of rpg is it, the answer is that it is one where you level the wepons insted of the characters, the system works ather good and the game just has some fun features like town building.

Ah but you see sir, that is YOUR opinion.

I can agree that Kingdom Hearts is somewhat unoriginal because it draws off previous Disney stories, but it's also very original in the fact that it seamlessly alters these same storylines to accomodate the protagonist and some other Final Fantasy characters. The fact that they add more content with each game and have one huge (Albeit confusing) story going is what makes the game so great.

I especially like the gameplay, very tight controls, fast paced, and very VERY fun.

Dark Cloud 1 wasn't all that great, to me anyway. Dark Cloud 2 was much better, especially story and graphic wise, but it overall seemed kinda slow and a bit bland compared to Kingdom Hearts.

Obviously Kingdom Hearts is unoriginal because it's a crossover between Disney and Final Fantasy. The first game, in my opinion, was the best game in the franchise so far (the other games try too hard to be this novel-like epic).

I know, but it still is unoriginal. That isn't necessarily a bad thing since KH has opened up a large story. Though perhaps too large...

You can tell me any game and I can point out an unoriginality in it, it's not a solid arguement.

AH, my favorite games for a few months now...Tales of Vesperia. It's definitely the best Tales game yet. The story is awesome, the music is awesome, the characters are believable and change throughout the story. It's a well-written, well-drawn work of pure genius.

If I ever find myself without any books or video games to read/play (with my field of study? Ha!), I need to get that game. I'm a huge Tales of Symphonia fanboy/-girl, and that game didn't even have a playable dog. :P
