Re: Housepets Hangman: The Buzz Pets Game
I'm fairly certain what the second word is. The first... less so.
I think a K is involved, though, so let's Keep it going.

Ok, I know what the 2nd word is now. Not quite sure what the first word is yet.
Maybe an L will help.

Yeah, second word is for certain. And first word... I'll hazard a guess.
Is it a Paradoxical Blitzkrieg?

It's even funnier that it worked!Render wrote:Funny idea! The Blue Fox wrote:Heh. wouldn't it be funny if we all guessed the alphabet in order?
Well... It would be more funny if not all three letters would be in it.

you know, that would have been a hard one if this wasn't the one time you guessed the alphabet in order. but you had to ruin my plans

Re: Housepets Hangman: The Buzz Pets Game
Well, tbh, 'paradoxical blitzkrieg' has 15 different letters out of 26 total - even picking letters out of a bag Scrabble-style, that's a ~60% of getting something. Add on that we have like 7 chances to make a mistake and we really had to screw up not to get this one.
Anyways, guess I better get to thinking of something.

Re: Housepets Hangman: The Buzz Pets Game
except you don't usually choose the letters scrabble style, and one letter in each word is one that isn't commonly used so it's not that likely to be guessed. but I see your point cause that probably only brings it down to maybe 50% chance.

Yeah, it wasn't that bad, many unusual letters. But going with the alphabet helped you guys a lot...

Hello Guys, here's (probably) the last challenge of 2015! Who'll solve it and be able to start the new year?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ * _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
And now: Start!
*sits on the stage and waits*
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ * _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Parodic Soliloquy
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.
