For those of you wondering 'what is hydroxylic acid?', it's a quirk of chemical nomenclature. A number of acids are hydrogen plus a reactive ion. A hydroxyl radical is an ion with the chemical formula OH. So hydroxylic acid would be H + OH, or H2O - or as you might recognize, water. (Which you might also note isn't actually an acid with a neutral PH of 7 in pure form, but that's semantics.
