references in Housepets you discovered
have you found some hidden references in the comic you would like to share? I'm curious to know if you found out about a reference in the comic about something

There's a few. When Grape chases Peanut off after the Spot/Pridelands incident, there are lyrics from a specific Weird Al song coming from his headphones when she goes to talk to him.
Early comic had several strips that were direct rip-offs of Calvin and Hobbes.
There are more that I've noticed but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I can only recall one but I am sure that there are others but they went over my head and I don’t really pay much attention to them. Before the cast ended up being transported to Heaven because of the demon Stewart fight with Kitsune, Marion was on the phone arguing with a college admissions officer wanting to enroll in their nursing program there but was getting denied. As soon as everybody moved to Heaven, the phone had him on hold and began playing Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven Is A Place on Earth”.
Honestly, I prefer the song “Circle in the Sand” by her instead but that is just my opinion.
