Continuing to get back into the routine that I was in before Christmas and get my rhythm back now that the holiday is over. Granted I don't ever have much to do but I would like to get back to a familiar pattern.

Actually heading to bed a bit earlier for me because I have to go have lab work done with my blood tomorrow. I also have work so I need to get as much sleep as possible since I'm not sure how long it will take and I want to sleep more before I go back to work.

"Triple witching day!" - Board meetings of my church, the neighborhood food bank, and the animal shelter. And the same agenda across the board - too many problems, not enough money, and maintenance anxieties. Ah, well ... the beat goes on.

Heading off to work in a little over a half-hour and spending much of the day there as per usual. Really the only time I ever get out of the house now and do anything not there is when I am working because we don't have any events coming up.

I've returned to writing two stories at once because one of the stories that I'm writing is hitting pretty heavy and I needed something a little more lighthearted to break it up. It's really hard to write someone being mean. Plus, due to the nature of the story, I have to also do it without using any names, which means writing in the first person and referring to the other character as "him." It's very difficult.

Got home from work which is never as bad as I think it is and I feel like its just the anticipation of going in that makes me dread it and had my dinner, watched Days of our Lives and RuPaul's Drag Race with my mother and now I am about to jump in the shower when I am finished looking at all of my websites I usually go to.

Going to get ready to go to work in 2 hours and try to relax before then because I don't know what I will be walking in on. Especially since it is supposed to snow again tonight.

I have spent the vast majority of today baking. I made a cake and frosting, and some homemade cheddar bay biscuits, such that it's a quarter after 1 in the afternoon and I have only just managed to get to my computer.

Trying to stay away despite the fact that I managed to get 8 hours of sleep last night I still feel like I need another nap. I hate it when I am like this on my day off.

Panicking as I realized that both of my active stories are due to end next week and I only have one story finished and ready for posting. If I can just write the difficult chapter of one of my active projects tomorrow, I can have it finished by the beginning of next week and ready for editing on time. X.x

I called out from work due to the conditions on the streets near my house so I am just relaxing and hoping we don't get another big snowstorm. It sucks when you live at the bottom of two MASSIVE hills.

Preparing a equivalent of Project RED in regards to my fanworks since I don't have long before the only way to read Housepets is through that of omnibus and paperback issues. I just hope I can actually make it go when I eventually leave due to the site and forums turning rather unstable to the point where I can't stick around.

Dealing with a backache that I think I got when I brought the bins in from the street since the garbage men came by this morning. I might have wrenched something out of place and I am hoping that I didn't reherniate a disc in my back.

After a week of barely-controlled panic and writing as quickly as I could force my brain to focus, I once again have an extra story nearly finished and tucked into my pocket. I underestimated how quickly the short stories go by and ended up having to start posting one story literally 4 days after I finished writing it, which isn't really as long as I like to let them simmer before I start editing. I just need to force my brain to focus long enough to write the last three chapters, and then I can pick a sticky note from my stack of story ideas and start writing a NEW story. The last few chapters are HARD though and my brain doesn't WANNA focus on it because the climax has already passed.

...There's a good excuse to write Bomberman Battle Games today.

Super Bomberman Collection, something I would support as a official release since it's available now.

'Bomberman Cerberus' will be here at any point in time, but just a preemptive support of the official release before the fic would do at this point. But overall, Cerberus will be fighting alongside the fellow cast of the Bomberman circuit just to ring in the new old release at the start.

Shoveling our driveway since it is buried again and my mother had to go out someplace and won't be able to get back in the driveway since it is on a hill. We also LIVE on the bottom of a hill so I am very worried about going to work today.

Me, too. T'was one of those "low and slow" snows, stopping and going, sometimes heavy flakes and other times lighter than turtle dandruff. In the end, the total amount was probably 4-5 inches, not a big deal. The problem is, if you walk in or drive over it, that pressed down snow will turn into a boulder-like ice that won't melt until two weeks after Easter!

Managed to make it to work despite the hills being HORRIBLE over here because they didn't plow them and they didn't bother coming by until well AFTER I went to work. The only nice thing about the storm was that it meant that we didn't have a lot of customers today.

I started writing a new story today. I thought if it last week and put it on my sticky notes full of story ideas and I'm so excited to write it. It's been a bit since I had to create a full new cast of characters for a story from scratch, so that took a while, but then I slammed out the first two chapters and the exciting bit will start in the chapters I write tomorrow.

Welcome back, everybody! I missed you all while the site took a little nap. I've enjoyed tormenting my new character in my (now nearly complete) new story, but it'll be much easier to focus now that the site is back up. Hopefully the modmins and Rick have rigged something up to help prevent the site from going down for extended periods like that again.

Waiting for the "Snowmaggedon Bomb Cyclone" to hit the New England seaboard. Spent much of the day Saturday shoveling snow - oh, well, life in New Hampshire. Sure makes the trees beautiful and, beung retired, I got where particular to go no how.
