I've severely cut down my soft drink dependency myself, though I haven't given them up entirely. I am allowed a single 16.9 ounce bottle per day, and the rest of the time I drink water, usually plain but sometimes with some zero sugar flavoring in it. Occasionally I will cheat and have a larger/additional bottle, but that's uncommon.

Well, I was all primed to send the afternoon with plumbers and a whole range of fixits, but they just cancelled out and rescheduled ...

So, when the missus gets home from Swimmercise, she'll probably put me to work doing house hubby stuff. Our eldest daughters is flying in from Los Angeles tomorrow with our youngest coming in right behind her from Buffalo. They'll be here until Tuesday sooooo busybusybusybusy ... ;)

Just going to work today after I take a quick shower since I am very sweaty when I wake up even though I have the air conditioner on. After that I will be back at home for the rest of the night so I'll watch my soap opera before bed.

The story I'm writing right now has dragged on to almost half again as long as my normal story length with a few more chapters left to go. I better hurry up with it; it's currently my only pocket story, and there's only a few weeks left on one of the ones I'm currently posting. I hope to finish it completely by Tuesday.

Gonna have some leftovers as a midnight snack (or in this case a 3:30 AM snack) and then head to bed. I have issues with procrastinating as I should have been in bed hours ago. <_>

Going to have to use a phone to write my fanfiction and all that it entails. Hopefully I can allow us to join the celebration of TKOGS' anniversary on a date you know well.

Once again stayed up too late because I got engrossed in several YouTube videos and completely lost track of the time for several hours. I then tried to finish one last video up for the night because I didn't want to lose momentum but kept procrastinating and pausing the video which lead to it taking a lot longer than it should have. LOL >_>

My creative batteries are running a little low- there's too many people at my house for me to focus on writing, and I can't recharge the normal way. So instead, I'm going to take a few days off from writing- don't worry, I have plenty of backlog to keep you in your stories- and pick up again on Monday after I read these books I found at the store.

Bouncing around between Best Buy and home. My old Dell desktop and Lenovo laptop could not make the transition from msn 10 to msn 11, so I bought a new HP Desktop and an HP laptop. It's been a trip for me since i have the technological acumen of stump. ;) :?

Trying to save up money to hire somebody to put up my new ceiling fan since I broke the one in my room accidentally by yanking on the chain too hard. Not sure how long its been in the room but we have been in this house for 5 years.

Going into work a little early because my boss is going to be out for a few days after he got injured and needed to be hospitalized. I was told that he fell and dislocated something which I am sure is very painful.

Falling becomes a real preoccupation as you get older. Stairs are especially dangerous and, oddly enough, the short number of stairs leaving a house or descending interior steps can be more likely to trip you up than a long flight. Impact is often more sudden.

A tourist in Maine is looking over a fence, blocking people from getting too close to the edge of a deep ravine. He turns to a local man standing by the fence and contemplating the drop and asks, "Guess the fall here must have killed a few people."

The old local responds "T'aint the fall what kills `em. It's the landin' "

And that doesn't count the possibility of hitting your head on something harder than your skull when you finally land. :o

Now I'm trying to decide what the next series I am going to follow is since it's that time where new seasons of shows start. They cancelled the reboot of Night Court which I enjoyed so I am probably gonna watch the third incarnation of Futurama then. (First was in Fox, then Comedy Central and now Hulu).

Going to be working on some writing this National Roald Dahl Day, though it's going to be a series pitch of a sort of semi-reboot regarding my usual round, inane work. The Pitch will be cast on Saturday September 13th, 2025 and the first season of 13 episodes will take place on June 23rd, 2026 with the lore that is my framework for how I interprete things.

Pilot will be just in time for Sonic's 35th anniversary and I'm looking forward to this all nighter. Though the inspiration is more inspired by the upcoming Bubsy 4d if anything.

Just a few minutes and my work will begin at midnight. See you later today.

I've got this big meal to cook for my family that I've been planning for weeks. It involves basically being on my feet all day- I already had to make biscuits, which will be rewarmed in the air fryer later, and then I have a drink to make to go with dinner, and then the dinner itself which will take probably about an hour to make. It's lots of busywork, but hopefully worth it.

Now I am trying to get the kinks out of my neck and loosen it up because I think I slept wrong. I was fine until my 3rd hour of work today when just twisting my head caused a jolt of pain to hit me. So I am hoping that after a good night's sleep that my neck will be less sore or completely free of pain.

Today I'm giving myself a new challenge! I've just finished writing the next Shade story, and I want to upload it concurrently with the next Scout. That means coordinating events so as not to give spoilers for one or the other. Fortunately, Scout's not IN Shade very much, so there's only a couple chapters that I have to coordinate. It's difficult to get started, but I think I've got this.

Today I'm just drawing and later gonna make some music. Yesterday, I saw my favorite team (Bayern Munich) win against Hoffenheim (Result was 1-4 win for Bayern). Well... I only saw the result...

Not much else though... But as I mention drawing again, I finally have done one of my ocs, digitally (for the first time) and... I think it looks decent, not bad. I put it on my pfp, his name is Josh, and he's also from Spain (like me, xd), his breed is the Alaskan Klee-Kai.
Hiya! :D
Nice to meet you! Hope you have a fantastic day. :D

Binge-watching The Infographic Show videos on YouTube because it is something I got sucked into when I had some downtime. I honestly do enjoy how they explain things and the sarcasm that comes from some of the voiceovers. :P

Thinking about what to write regarding Season 2026's 13 feature length episodes that are literally 13 episodic movies in a serial formula.

My state recently started a program to make community college free to certain individuals. I thought I'd look into that today and see if I'm eligible. Maybe I'll go back to college and get additional creative writing training.

I am thinking about doing something fun with chatGPT (for my own fun of course)
I was thinking to do something like using specific characters or words in Japanese and put them in titles or sentences, like Restaurant names or YouTube video titles, I look forward to it, this is gonna be fun, plus it might teach me new stuff in Japanese

This morning, we had a new couch delivered, and said goodbye to an old couch we'd had for decades. The drivers were having a slow day so we shared our coffee with them. Finished moving all the furniture and later, I've got to get the yards ready for winter.

I'm trying to finish the story I've been working on before I take next week off. It's slow going- the story's mostly wrapped up, and I'm just trying to figure out that feel-good ending, but I can't quite get it to where I want it.

Trying to fix my sleep schedule because I think its been destroyed and I can't get it to what would be a normal setup no matter what I do. I go to bed at night and only sleep 3 hours and then I can't fall back asleep again for 5 hours which isn't a really efficient period of rest since I often have to take naps during the day and it makes me feel lazy for doing that.

For the first time in ages, I don't have any writing to do. Normally, as soon as I finish one story, I'll save and close it and immediately open a blank document to start the next one. However, this time, since I'm taking next week off and I went out of my way to wrap up all the stories I had going before this week ended, I don't actually have any stories going right now. I'm not quite sure what to do with myself.
