Take a look at this page.
Nothing much happening, right? Just Tarot letting Karishad know that Negabreel is on the way.
But take a closer look at this panel:

Do you see it? Do you?
Well maybe you should look even closer.

To be fair there are 5 jokes on that page alone and you would be forgiven for missing the 4 pixels of Negabreel in the background the first 9 readthroughs considering not even the alt text acknowledges it

Admittedly when I read the page for the first time i thought the shadow was Tarot and that is where she was talking. Its only now that I realize it was NegaBreel because its been pointed out. XD
Her powers faded after the end of the Game, but she still has traces. She can't be a holodeck or read minds anymore but she's still psychic enough to read fortunes and do magic(k)

Karishad knew that it was Tarot because as we found out later he is also a kitsune and also has magical powers which is why he was able to do all the insane things he was involved with. Obviously Tarot knew Karishad enough to know what actions he would take even if she didn't see him do them. X)
Rick put that particular carrot right out in the open abd we didn't even nibble it. Kitsune had all "unaffected mortals" removed from a 30 mile radius centered around Babylon Gardens. The only ones who were not moved were Craig and Draig, because they were cursed; Breel, because he's a reincarnation; and Karishad because he's a celestial.
And Karishad was still on earth and we didn't even question it, we just went "yeah, that makes sense" and moved on and didn't even think about it until the end if the arc TWO COMIC YEARS LATER.
I'm so mad about it.

It would have been hard to deduce that Karishad was a Celestial since like you said we are all used to the insane and utterly unhinged things he does. Plus I SWEAR I saw somewhere a few years ago when the topic was first brought up about him possibly being one that it had been declared false.
People definitely were suggesting he was a Celestial long before Heckraiser. Other idea was Kitsune’s avatar, but this was quashed rather quickly, as Dungeon Masters don’t have Avatars. Them being brothers was definitely not an idea I saw prior, though.
Faith doesn't change circumstances. Faith changes me.

Oh you know what? I was wrong. It was Karishad being Kitsune's avatar that was the theory that was struck down. Not that he was a Celestial possibly. I guess I totally misremember that.

In mythology, it takes a fox 900 years to gain the nine tails. As Kari only has two, it could show that he’s significantly younger.
Seniority over genetics, eh? Oh, well, maybe extra points towards tail number for lunacy.
So are you saying that the more tails that a kitsune gets the more sane they become? Because Kitsune has a full set of tails and he is DEFINITELY more sane (but as much as trickster) than Karishad. LOL
