Every Human Is Joel

Post by GingaDensetsuAleu »

Have you ever noticed that most of the "NPC" humans just look like Joel?
The guy from the Donut shop, the guy from the Milkshake shop, even Mr. London looks like a blonde Joel. There are plenty of human characters that DON'T resemble Joel, but the ones that do pop up a lot.

...What have you done? I was going to write off Heckraiser as the actual finale of the series and go from there. But now?

I already had King essentially be like that of "Usual Mascot Main Character" but now considering the year things go to hades, every human is transmogrified into animals at that point and King would be a "Mario a la Sonic" since he and his family and the milton ferrets would be humans to try and make said species last just for a bit longer before humans truly go extinct.

At least the human race would go out with a Sonic Boom in that case.

You're thinking of Joey. Joel, as in King's human form.

I imagine that it is easier for Rick to put together non-important characters looking like Joel because he probably had practice with drawing his face the most out of the other humans. It was said somewhere that Rick at least initially had a hard time trying to draw human faces.

Not really, but I do get it. The facial structures.

Though I do always that one human Rick drew way back in 2013 as standing out because of the hair and clothing. x3

Right here.

Wouldn't mind seeing that guy again if the comic resumed in the near future because I think he could be very interesting. If Rick doesn't want to draw him as a human he can always be one of the unlucky ones that were forcibly changed.

Honestly I have no clue about that but I definitely wouldn't mind finding out. I guess its just one of those things that remains a mystery.

Wonder if Earl and Jill Sandwich will return? Guess I shoulda put that into the "Cast-off Characters" thread orrrrrrrr ..........

Wonder if Earl and Jill are now animals? Wonder what they'd be and how would Peanut and Grape deal with that tranformative earthquake?

Since Kitsune cleared an area of 30 miles around the neighborhood as soon as Eudoant entered the mortal plane and dropped everybody in that area in heaven, and it wasn't until after that, that Demon Steward started transforming people, it's probably fairly safe to assume that Earl and Jill are still human, UNLESS Heaven transformed them after the fact. We're pretty sure they got world leaders since it was explicitly stated that 80% of world leaders were transformed, so there might also have been a random scattering globally.

The whole arc does kinda sound like The Dome, doesn't it?

To be fair Rick was running on fumes the whole time and miscolored Todd for half the arc anyway so it's fine if it's reminiscent of something else.
