So I was thinking. Pete's been "missing" for about ten years, so assuming his house is still vacant, it might now be considered abandoned. I wonder if King, Bailey, and the cubs might be able to move in there. There's been multiple instances of them mentioning how tight it's getting at Wolf House, and with the pups starting to grow up, they'll probably be wanting some more space.
Do you think, when the comic comes back (Soon, I tell myself knowing it'll probably be at least another six months), Rick will have King and Bailey get their own place?

Re: The future of King's family
I can imagine that to be an eventuality. Depends on if King wants to completely avoid anything regarding Pete or not.

Re: The future of King's family
I honestly don't thin King will have a problem with moving back into that house as he seems to have gotten over the trauma of Pete making him miserable. He is still neurotic and overprotective but if he is freaking out over the house itself being harmful then he will freak out over ANY house in that case.
Re: The future of King's family
Assuming the house is still there. Pete might have created it and made it dissapear once he left.

I think somebody would have noticed that, especially given it was like across the street from the Sandwich residence. More likely Pete just manifested the money to buy it.

Re: The future of King's family
I am thinking that Pete probably bended reality a little bit there and made the people who were in charge of selling it think that they did even if they don't remember. I honestly can't believe that Pete randomly built a house on a lot and then just made it go away when he left.
Then again, it was during this particular arc that his human form was pretty much Milburn Pennybags (aka the Monopoly Man)

Re: The future of King's family
For a few months when I was attending the University of Wisconsin back in 1970-71, I lived in a house at 910 College Court. Shortly after I moved out of it, it was sold and the new owner bought it and the adjacent house. He apparently lived in that house and 910 College Court became his extended yard.
At seveal times in my Army career, I worked in Military Intelligence and had to go through security checks. These checks required me to list every address I'd ever lived at so, of course, I included College Court. Well, from my first security review to my last (twenty years later), I got raked over the coals because nobody could find 910 College Court. I guess they assumed I was working for the Weathermen and was trying to hide my real address. I'd tell them what had happened to the house and they wouldn't believe me.
You'd have though they'd have sent some pencil-neck to the bureau of land records to check out my story but ... nooooo.
Wish Housepets had been around then. I could have told them a gryphon took it over.
