Wlaking our two skipperkee dogs in the pouring rain. They love this nasty weather, funny little Dutchmen that they are.

Getting ready to go to work after what my boss called my "mini vacation".

Recovering from the hassle of getting an on-line appointment to repair our desktop - I feel like Sisyphus after the stinkin'rock rolled over him on the way back down the hill.

Going to take a bath soon, so that I would be able to do church services tomorrow.

Re: What Are You Doing Today?
Dayzee, were there a lot of rude people getting fish prior to Easter where you work? When I went to ny local supermarket, on Saturday there were four people hectoring the poor worker about salmon.

Easter already? I could hardly tell since holiday creep keeps happening.
Anyways, I'm watching some Classic Power Rangers. What with Hasbro moving away from the Sentai, (Super) Megaforce is no longer the worst season of Power Rangers.
Why am I not looking forward to Hasbro doing their own thing? Aside from some charged details that are volatile already, this move will prove that the rights holders need Toei far more than Toei needs them.

About to take a shower and head to bed for my last day of work for the week tomorrow.

Our daughter is taking the missus and me to a dog show this afternoon. They've got two foster dogs (or horses who've managed to convince a group of near-sighted shelter owners that they're really dogs).

Digesting the Chinese food that I had for dinner a few minutes ago and enjoying my Saturday off.
Re: What Are You Doing Today?
Went to Niagara Falls, lots great Indian restaurants, but didn't have our passports so couldn't cross over (sigh). Eleanor also got one of her dogs adopted today so ... drinks all around!
Re: What Are You Doing Today?
We're planning on watching the Solar Eclipse from our daughter's front yard here in bucolic Akron, New York. Wonder if Rick will do some one-shot pictures of his characters reacting to the astral phenomena? That'ud be even more fun!

Watching the solar eclipse from out backyard even though we only got a partial eclipse and it was blocked from the many trees we have in our yard with their branches.

Did some small town cruising and hit the Glen Falls Park in Williamsville, NY. Weather was summerish today, the temperature into the mid-70s. Gonna head beck to New England tomorrow.

Slept mostly and when I got up my headache looked like it was finally subsiding. Knock on wood.
Re: What Are You Doing Today?
All the two thousand two hundred and twoty-two things that went undo while we were vacationing in western New York ... and then there's that unexpected huge mess caused by a large tree limb from our yard falling across the fence of our neighbors. Ah, well, the beat goes on ......

Re: What Are You Doing Today?
I hope that you have homeowners insurance and will be able to pay for the tree limb crashing down and damaging your neighbor's fence in full. It will probably be very expensive and a blow to you financially if you have to pay it yourself.
Re: What Are You Doing Today?
Thanks, Amazz. I've also found a damaged gutter corner I hadn't seen before. We have insurance and also a set-aside fund for emergency expenses. The neighbors are both good folks and sustained no damages except for a lot of debres. However, all the tree service companies are swamped so the company we're dealing with won't get to us for four to six months. Ah, well ........
