Do you know what your first Tiger audition reminds me of? There's this video on youtube called "The Making of the Shining" by MonkeyandApple, I think his name is. It's not the REAL The Making of the Shining but he calls it that. He plays three roles in it, including Stanley Kubrick and Jack Nicholson, and Jack is practicing the line for Stanley: "Have you ever thought about MY responsibilities? Have you ever had a single...moment's...THOUGHT...about MY responsibilities? Have you ever thought for a single solitary moment about MY responsibilities to my employers?!" And Stanley keeps making him do it over and over again, having weird complaints and suggestions until Jack gets so frustrated and angry that it essentially becomes enforced method acting. "Axe murderer, axe murderer, kill kill kill!"

Maybe it'd help to study Jack Nicholson a little? You have a nice voice, I can kind of see Tiger with that voice, but something a little lacking in the performance--you sound more like you're trying to act rather than saying the lines as Tiger would (which is just naturally, not acting at all).

I LAUGHED when you said "I want to wear her skin...." You did a better job there, but again, try not to ACT so much, if that makes sense.

The early takes for the raccoons had you not saying the lines the way they would be spoken--you did a little better later on, but it still needs work. In particular, you don't sound like you've broken and entered into a house and are burglarizing it. Where's the urgency? The last one was the best in that regard (especially with the sound effect). You also might distinguish the voices better.

Well I've never acted the before i think i was doing the most putting the most actual effort into the raccoons i could try again later.

To be honest I didn't Like it Myself that much.

I think you did very good on the Male Raccoon and on Joey, I would prefer you as Joey more than anything else really.

The way you did it made me think of Japanese cartoons, which is the only way I can think of the characters sounding.

And I will still pronounce his name Bee-no.

I think you fit Joey quite well, Exranio, and the raccoons were pretty good. The main problem I had with your Tiger was that you is that the "I WILL KILL YOU" bit was supposed to be a sudden 'snap', so it should be a lot quicker. I Imagine it more of a shout than a growly threat.

My advice would be to wait till you're on your own and won't be embarrassed about it, and then practice your angry shouting. And this one is a bit more of personal preference, but make it less 'throaty', so the words are clearer.

I always assumed they were male, but from what I'm aware we don't know it for sure do we? It's technically possible that one is female.

And I will still pronounce his name Bee-no

Every time that you pronounce Bino as Bee-no, I will pronounce Fido as 'Fee-do' :p

If it makes you feel any better. I pronounce it as Fee-dough. But again, this is probably not the best place to discuss pronunciations.

As I've commented on Youtube, I love your Spo. Your Pete didn't quite do it for me though, if I'm honest, and there wasn't really enough of your Jeeves to tell whether or not you fit him. Your Fiddler and Keys were pretty good, but the music (Which I loved by the way XD ) kinda drowned out the vocals. Maybe put it up again but with the music being quieter?

Finally, your Karl-Lenin Faust; It is inspired by Sam and Max's Monsieur Paperwaite, right? Cause it's uncannily similar :p

I also liked Karl Lenin-Faust performance-wise, although someone else who auditioned for the role did a better accent....

(I don't know about Fiddler and Keys, but I did love hearing that "Irish Washerwoman" song!)

In my defense, I DID say I really only did Pete for that last line, I wasn't all that serious about it, and there's not much of Jeeves in general, I doubled the parts as it was. And the music I put together as quickly as I could.

But thank you about the Spo, that's my favorite too.

I hate to break it to you, but Ebly and I really need the stuff sent to us. It doesn't help us when you post it here, because it's hard to keep track of who's auditioned for what. Also, Youtube is a poor medium for this kind of thing, as we don't have the recordings on file. It's all for organizational and efficiency reasons. So, we really need your stuff sent to us before we can consider you for a part. Thanks.

Not the best example, but it's hard to find long sections of him talking on Youtube.

Anyhoo, if you have an FA account, you can upload each individual audition on there as 'music', and send it to Ebly or Teh Brawler that way. It's how I send it them :p

Another easy way is if you PM me or Ebly and ask for our email (ONLY through PM, and I can't guarantee Ebly will give you his), you can attach the file to an email and send it to us.

Although i have a question about mine , did all the voices sound the same , cuase that's what my mom said anyway

Just making sure. Some people post on here expecting us to be like "WOW YOU GET SUCH AND SUCH PART" which is not only difficult for us, but it discourages other people from auditioning. There are multiple reasons for the needing a file sent to us, but it's better just to run with it than ask questions. Though I will answer them if they are asked.

Hmm, they did sound very similar, but I'm not sure if they sound so similar it would ruin it. Certainly I don't think there'd be a problem if you got Joey and the Raccoons OR Marvin and the Raccoons, because the Raccoons are only a minor role and exist almost separately from most other characters. If you look at things like Family Guy, almost every minor character has the same voice, but you don't notice unless you look out for it because they have so few lines you don't memorise the voice.

I'd be a little wary if you got Joey and Marvin though. The voices are noticeably different, but with them both being somewhat important characters, they might end up interacting in future comics, and it might become a bit hard to tell them apart if that happened.

My advice would be try to make them sound a little more individual, but if you can't it won't be the end of the world.

You have a nice voice, and I liked your auditions--except you seemed to slip up on that last one (I personally think he would still have been drunk there but that's not what I'm talking about). Also, I liked sliceofdog's (forgive me if I'm mistaking you....

Spo was great; seriously, I could just imagine Spo in my head with exactly that voice. Your Karl-Lenin Faust was funny too; loved the slight French accent. Very admirable attempt at Fiddler and Keys, but it didn't do it for me; I think it may have been the song, since you don't seem to have trained your voice for a Gaelic tune like that (also Rick made an uber-hard rhyme to follow XD). Pete...good try, but I don't think he suits you. Your voice doesn't have the right depth sans power, and you didn't seem to pull off the comedy part well.

Still a very good audition; Spo and Faust were the best, and I loved the attempt at Fiddler & Keys ^_^

Keene doesn't really sound drunk as much as he just sounds squeakier. And there's not really a lot of emotion there; so far as I'm aware, at that point in the strip he was kinda beating himself up about wasting his dad's money. The drunkenness wasn't carried over to the other strip, though.

I do like the choice in voice, though. You think about doing Simon or Rock or any of the other ferrets? They don't get hammered off orange soda as far as I'm aware XD

I like your voice at the start, although you seem to drop it for a more 'normal' voice at the end which doesn't suit him very well imo. But certainly there's potential, if not for Keene then for some of the other ferrets. As Hera said, we still need some Simon and Rock auditions, which no one's done yet as far as I'm aware.

And speaking as someone who's auditioned for Keene and as such done the drunk comics, talk to Teh Brawler about it. After he gave me his advice and criticism, I got much better. Took me a fair few tries, but I'm glad I did.

Can i be the main sound effects person? i have over 15gb of sound effects and extensive adobe soundbooth/other program knowledge, i could make it like lackadaisy's! D: just give me a shot!

I don't have a problem with it, but Ebly needs to give his approval, as well (though I doubt he'll have any reservations against it, either), and he's on hiatus until October at the earliest.
