I'll admit I say this one being drawn the other day and I'm still not sure what the second part of Lois's comment would have been.

Also, now I know where to take my kids clothing shopping before school next year.

Not a knock against this at all, but this is something I sometimes have problems with villains who have this kind of power:

"Ahahaha! I can manipulate your perceptions & trap you in a world of illusions! You will see what you want to see! Buwhwhahaha!!"

(Shortly after)

"No! I am defeated! How did you overcome my mastery of your own perceptions?!"

Yeah... how did that happen? Did the villain just forget about their own power? It's almost as if seeing the villain defeated is what the heroes...wanted...to...see.

Hi, Lunar, we're okay. The missus, Sophie, and I just returned from visiting our duaghter in Buffalo, NY, for a week. She and her husband went to Jamaica for a few days, and gave us a chance to housesit. Buffalo's not a bad town, although the weather was a bit to the cold side, and the city itself was pretty low activity (lots of closed places and little traffic). But we're good. A little worried about Sophie - she's been lethargic lately, not a big fan of travel and new places. But she's 18 and a senior dog missing a front paw so her life is always changing now.

You're well, I trust?

That's a good point, one that I hadn't really considered. He could be a demon in disguise that just happened to get pulled in by Lois without her realizing it. It would explain why there hasn't even been a name given yet.

I'm leaning myself toward the aardvark is basically what he seems to be: A recently former human who is tagging along with this crazy quartet because, well, why not? The longer he hangs out, the more likely it seem that he's going to be some critical role coming up. Something about him not being sent from Heaven, but also having the mental part of the animal curse broken.

Also I was thinking that's how the Matrix should have ended, with Neo just believing he'd beaten the Agents but was really back in the power plant, like the rescue sequence at the end of Brazil.
