Sorrows: I had a persistent headache throughout the first half of the day, but it went away by around 5PM.
With the right community, getting into a webcomic at the beginning of a brand new arc can feel just as enjoyable and rewarding as being there from the beginning.

Sorrow: It's starting to get so hot out at night that I can't sleep in my room with just the fan.
Joy: My mother let me blow up an air mattress and I can sleep on it in the master bedroom with her and more importantly, the A/C!

Neat! I'd really like to have a cat, very much miss Andy who lived with us for ten years. But at our ages and stages, it might not be responsible - cats are a lot harder to "bequeath" than dogs.

That's wonderful, CunningFox. Does your family have a particular breed in mind?

Re: Joys And Sorrows
Actually this news sort of brings up a sorrow for me.
Sorrow: After we moved to the new house, our to older cats Charley and Smokee ended up getting out and I don't think they are coming back. I would like to think that they only got out because they had to go off to die since they were old but I'm not sure.

Re: Joys And Sorrows
I hope they come back, amazz. Cats, I'm told, really do not like to relocate. Andy solved that problem for us by departing for a higher plane rather than waiting to move to New Hampshire. Best wishes for their safe return (they do often comeback after a short sulk).Amazee Dayzee wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 4:41 pm Actually this news sort of brings up a sorrow for me.

Joy: I have a move-in date for my new campus! The big day is August 28th.
Sorrow: I'm not eligible for early drop-off, so I have to bring everything I'll need when I move in, which sounds like a hassle.

Inappropriate joy: There is a problem with the people who wanted to buy our house which has to do with a loan from their bank so hopefully that means they will pull out. Of course my mother and her siblings will lose the money but I want the house to stay in the family.

Time to Kick Butt Joy: Working on GT Warriors' Pilot Special. If I work on it every day, I might complete it by National Power Rangers Day. (August 28.) Heck, I may even dub it as "Power Rangers' Grand Tribulation Friday" as a name for marketing the day of release. (Like the marketing of certain game releases such as Groundhog Day being dubbed "Hedgehog Day" for Sonic 3's release, or Mortal Monday for the home console Mortal Kombat release and so on.)
I apologize if that info is a bit much.

It's not a Windows computer so I'm not sure if that will work since its a Mac. It started when it was unplugged though and I got worried I did something to it. But just as I was about to restart it, the fan suddenly shut off. Who could have guessed that?

Joy: I just played my first game of Jackbox tonight, and it was with Rick and GameCobra on Twitch, AND I won at Bracketering!!
Play The Hayseed Knight. This isn’t self promotion, I just really like the game.

Jackbox is a series of party game collections Rick occasionally plays on Twitch. Bracketering is one of those games, where players answer a prompt, then the answers are pitted against each other in a tournament bracket with the players get points for wagering which prompt will win. I took first in the final round, after trailing behind for most of the game, and it was my first time playing.

Joy: The lumber my dad and I ordered finally arrived so we're going to start a woodworking project tomorrow. I loved woodworking as a kid so I'm looking forward to it.
Sorrow: It won't keep us occupied for the while though. Turns out most of the shed is already pre-assembled, so all that's left is to put in a few screws. We're already planning our next project
