he was suddenly tackled from behind and then he heard Lets try this again shall we? at that he was hiked up by his collar again and held over the side of the bridge. he struggled with his collar trying to breath when he heard Hey, Amelia I'm right here! and then dropped. he went down like a rock into the river. he was swept under the bridge towards the park choking for air he swam up to the surface gasping and swam towards the bank. but unfortunately he was thrown under again and then finally manged to climb out of the water. incidentally it was about 10 feet away from O'Conner. he coughed up some water and then lied down and let out a long groan.

[Teh Brawler]

Tory awoke to a spluttering sound coming from the river. Regaining awareness, he hopped down to the bank to find a dog lying there. Putting his fear of domesticated animals aside, he hopped onto the dog's chest. Looking at his face for any signs of conciousness, he called, "Hey! You alright? If you can hear me, say something!"

((OOC: Blegh, can't write today. ))

"Hey! You alright? If you can hear me, say something!" he opened his eyes and saw a cardinal standing on his chest. "Who are *Cough* you?..." he manged to ask. "Jesus... what *Cough cough* is effing up with *cough* Amelia?" he coughed sitting up and dislodging the bird from his chest.

[Alex]

So... what to play? You decide.

Lucky thought for a while, until...
"Can you play YYZ by Rush? I like that instrumental".
Without saying a word, Alex grabbed the guitar, finally feeling excited about playing it.
Good choice. We used to practice it a lot... but without a band, it won't be that easy. Good thing is that every of the previous band members has song files on their cell phones of many songs, recorded without the instrument they're playing. So, for example, I have a lot of songs on my cell phone, recorded without guitar, so that I could practice them alone.
With that, his hand slipped into his pocket, taking out the cell phone. His lips moved while browsing the list, whispering the name of every song he goes through.
Here it is. YYZ!
With the press of the button, the intro of YYZ was heard, until.... this was it. Now it was time for the guitar. Finally. After two weeks of delaying, his fingers finally crossed the strings, playing the song, like he has done so many times before with his band. He played through the entire song, careful not to make a mistake, but he messed up here and there, nothing big. It really wasn't a hard song for him. Once he was done, he looked down, still wondering what will happen to Amelia and Pyxis, and where Gary could be.....
So.... was that any good?
Not that Alex cared if it was good or not, but he had to distract himself from thinking about them. It'll just make his mood worse, and that's unwanted. But still... it was hard.

-Meanwhile-
The pain in Gary's right foot just didn't want to stop. He looked towards the house, thinking about how to get there. Perhaps there could be someone who can help him? But it would be a dumb idea to try and get up. Sure, Gary could stand on one leg, but can he walk towards the house on it? And besides, there could be more sharp rocks lying in the grass, and the impact would be even worse if he jumps on it, instead of stepping on. Clearly, there was only one thing to do...
Heeeelp!!!! - he yelled towards the house. Nothing. Perhaps he wasn't loud enough? He put his paws on his cheeks, around his mouth, preparing for another shout.
HEELLLLP!!!! - he yelled again, louder, hoping that somebody, anybody, will hear him.

"Who are *Cough* you?... Jesus... what *Cough cough* is effing up with *cough* Amelia?"

Tory flew to the side as the dog sat up. "Whew, I guess you're ok, then." Suddenly, he heard a large "HELP!!!!!" "Uh-oh. Hey, if you're ok, I've got to go help whoever that was. If you need anything, my friend O'Connor is over there." He tried to fly, and felt a surge of pain shoot through his arm. Shoot, my wing is still broken. He began to hop as fast as could in the direction of the call; in time, he eventually reached a gravelly road, where a cat was lying, bleeding. He looked seriously injured. Tory hopped over to where the cat could see him, and asked, concerned, "Hey, bud, you ok? I don't think I can help much, but I can at least go get help if you need it."

[Djinn]

After a little bit, Djinn starts to here calls out. "HELP!" Rolling his eyes he continues on. Great, some pet over reacting. He keeps going on but it starts to bug him, what if he were actually in danger? He would want somebody to help out right? With a sigh he reluctantly follows the cries towards their source. "Hello? Everyone alright?" He purposefully stays just out of sight behind a bush, after all he's been tricked like this by animal control before.

[Alex]

Hey, bud, you ok? I don't think I can help much, but I can at least go get help if you need it.

Gary looked at the newcomer, to discover that it was just a small cardinal. In another situation, it would make him annoyed. How could a cardinal with a broken wing help him? But right now, it wasn't that important, since he needed anybody, and somebody showed up.
No... the cut is so freaking deep... please get help. Somebody, anybody!
Gary now had to cover his foot with both paws, to stop the bleeding. However, the pressure made the pain even worse, causing him to pant painfully.

Hello? Everyone alright?

The source of the voice couldn't be seen. Perhaps it was something smaller than a cardinal now? Why are unusable animals coming to help? Whatever, at least they know somebody who can help.... hopefully. And besides, it was still unsure whether the source of this new voice was a small animal.
Who's there? Please help! - shouted Gary towards the direction where the voice came from.

Tory flew to the side as the dog sat up. "Whew, I guess you're ok, then. Uh-oh. Hey, if you're ok, I've got to go help whoever that was. If you need anything, my friend O'Connor is over there."

"Um... *Cough* okay" he said as the bird hopped away. looking up at the sky he groaned again aw crap, better get home sun's going down.... he thought getting up and started limping towards his house. thank god i live so close he thought slowly climbing the hill. by the time he reached the road he was painting from the effort and pain from the injures, didn't help that he kept slipping on the grass from being so wet. he stumbled across the road and up onto his deck. craapp.... how am i going to explain this to dad? "oh yeah i was beaten up by a cat named Amelia and then thrown in the river"... gah... this hurts too much to plain it... he thought and shoved the door open.

Matthew relaxed in a chair as the people around him gradually flowed out of the café. He sat there, idly watching the street lamps as they flickered to life. Not much had happened today, but... something about today seemed different. Unlike the past two weeks, events had happened today that will set things in motion. Life is about to get much more interesting around here, he thought, smiling to himself.

It was getting dark out- it would probably be a good time to start heading home. As Matthew stood up, Rachel stood also and walked over to him. "Ready to go home?" he asked her, stretching. "Yup," she responded. They exited The Wall and began walking down the street towards their home.~

"Thanks," Rachel said to Matthew as they walked. "For what?" Matthew responded, confused. He hadn't done anything for her, had he? "Thanks for taking me to The Wall today, and just- thanks for being here with me," she answered, blushing a bit. Matthew did not notice the blush, and was still confused as to what he had done for her. "Uh... no problem," he said, "you're my best friend. Don't think I haven't noticed that you've been down lately. I just figured that if you needed me, you'd come to me. You know that I'll always be here for you, right?"

They had just reached their house, and Matthew stopped to unlock the door. The door swung open with a click, and the two walked inside. "Good night," Matthew said to Rachel. "Good night," she replied, "I love you." He would think that she meant the love family members feel for each other when she said that, as he always had. He would never know that there was something more to these words.

Rachel climbed into her bed and smiled. The words "you know that I'll always be here for you..." echoed through her mind. She closed her eyes as his voice lulled her to sleep.

Amelia started panicking, staring wide eyed at Pyxis Uh, Pyxis...What the h*** did I just do? Did I just beat up who I think I beat up? Pyxis stepped back, Uh...yeah...you did... Pyxis took a few more steps back sticking his hands out, Don't...hurt me! Amelia stared at Pyxis confused by what he meant, she took a few steps towards Pyxis What? why would I hurt you? Pyxis took even more steps back, Then What about...the leash? After saying this he practically jumped back. Amelia stood there confused not replying back for long time, until finally she spoke, Leash? She thought a bit more until she remembered, Oh...the leash... Amelia looked down, I...I'm sorry Pyxis...I guess...I just overreacted...I didn't mean to go to far with that...sorry. Amelia would have started crying if Pyxis wasn't there, she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of him again. Amelia thought fast, giving a weak response Uh, Pyxis...Want to go home? Pyxis didn't understand the quick change in attitude, but as long as it wasn't hostile, it was fine, Uh, sure... slowly walking to Amelia, after awhile he swung his arms around her, Glad to see you normal again. Amelia wrapped her arms around Pyxis, I'm sorry Pyxis...lets go home now...

No... the cut is so freaking deep... please get help. Somebody, anybody!

"Alright, I'll go get help. Stay here." Tory looked around, and began to hop, looking for someone. Eventually, he caught sight of two cats ((OOC: Pyxis and Amelia.)) talking. He quickly hopped up to them and called out. "Hey, could y'all help me? There's a cat over here that's really hurt, and he needs someone to help him. I'm too small, though, so I need your help."

Pyxis and Amelia were about to head home, when suddenly a small cardinal called out to them. "Hey, could y'all help me? There's a cat over here that's really hurt, and he needs someone to help him. I'm too small, though, so I need your help." Amelia looked at the small bird, Hurt? Turning her head toward Pyxis, I think we should help him. Pyxis nodded. Pyxis turned his head back towards the cardinal, Okay, lead the way.

[Djinn]

After a few moments Djinn pokes his head over the bushes and comes out after looking around for a second. "Okay, good. No animal control. Looks like you stubbed your toe pretty bad there. Need a lift somewhere? "

[Alex]

Yeah... I didn't hit my toe, my whole foot is cut. There's a house not too far in that direction... - talked Gary, while pointing to Lucky's house. It could barely be seen in the distance, though, I could need a lift over there. Are you sure you can carry me?
He looked suspiciously at the cat's arms. His muscles weren't anything special. Definitely not the gym type. If the cat could carry him was something Gary doubted.

-Meanwhile-
Alex was already ready to play another song. He browsed through his cell phone, looking for something good while waiting for Lucky to answer, however, the three felines that left the house were still bugging his mind. The fact that it's getting dark didn't help at all. Nevertheless, he didn't say anything.

"Okay, follow me." He began to hop in the direction of the black cat, and came back just in time to see another black cat lifting the first one up. "Here we go," he called back. "But it looks like help might not be needed anymore." Suddenly, Tory had an epiphany. He was surrounded by four cats. "Er, uh, heheh, um, So yeah, I'll just, be going now.......UUUUAAAAAGH!!!!!! O'CONNOR!!!!!!!" Tory hopped as fast as his legs would take him, eventually reaching the old Scottish Terrier. He jumped in under O'Connor's arm pit, hiding from the world. "O'Connor! Help me!!!!" Tory's screaming woke the old dog, and he looked around, dazed. "Guh? Wha's goin' ohn?" He looked down at the bird tucked in under his arm. Wha're ya duin', laddeh?"
"Ugh, it was terrible! I was surrounded by four cats, O'Connor! Four! They could've eaten me at any moment! It was frightening!"
The old dog smiled slightly. Sems lahke he's naw' overe 'is fear o' pe's ye'. He picked the bird up carefully, and put the bird on his head. Noticing that the sun was going down, he called up, "Ruigh', le's ge' 'ome. The sun's goin' daown anehweis."
Upon arriving at his house, O'Connor realized he still felt groggy. He walked in the door and looked around, while Tory hopped off his head and headed into another room. Trevor wasn't home yet, as his work wasn't done, so O'Connor went in the kitchen, and grabbed himself a sandwich. Scarfing it down and getting a quick drink of apple juice, he walked back into his room to find Tory, fast asleep on his bed. He smiled slightly. Pur lahd. Wurn aout frum t'day's evehnts. Feeling tired himself, he laid down on the floor to keep from disturbing the bird, and went to sleep immediately.

They approached the spot where the cardinal pointed out getting a better look. Is that Gary? Pyxis said as they both got closer."Er, uh, heheh, um, So yeah, I'll just, be going now.......UUUUAAAAAGH!!!!!! O'CONNOR!!!!!!!" Amelia and Pyxis watched the little bird hop away screaming, Pyxis scratched his head, What was that all about? Amelia chuckled a little, No idea, but lets just help Gary first. Turning towards the other cat and Gary, (OOC: Djiin) "You two need a little help or are you ok now?" But from the amount of blood on Gary's foot she knew they were going to need a least some help.

Pyxis meanwhile recognized the black cat from earlier, embarrassed he started avoid any possible eye contact.

[Alex]

Gary smiled as he heard more voices approaching, knowing that more people are coming, most likely willing to help. However, once he saw it was Pyxis and Amelia, his face turned angry.
You! This all happened because I wanted to be a good guy and follow you!
The anger gave him some strength, and without thinking, he stood up. The action was followed by a painful yelp, more blood and him falling to the ground again.
Augh, flower power, it hurts! Can someone call Alex? Amelia, I suppose you have his number.... please tell him to take me home... or to the vet clinic!

[Djinn]

As soon as more pets showed up Djinn jumped behind the bushes, he didn't want to be involved if it wasn't necessary, unfortunately he manages to get entangled with the branches of the bush so he's stuck there for now.

[Kalvin]

After the song Lucky laughs a little. "You know, I can't remember the last time I had this much fun. It's like life is just right right now. I think this may be the single best time I've ever had."

Balbaroy finally walks out of The Wall after a while, but outside there are a bunch of people with signs shouting towards his house. Weird, never seen anything like this going on. Without giving it a second thought he begins to head for the door when a rock flies across the street towards him. (Anybody who wants to jump in here, feel free.)

[Alex]

Yeah, it is very fun to make music. - said Alex. Finally, he smiled for real today, if you don't count the morning (hehe). However, it was getting dark.
Man... it's getting dark. We should go home.
But... I didn't sing yet! - exclaimed Mai, with a sad expression.
You'll sing tomorrow. We must find Gary now. Let's go. *turns to Lucky* If you want to do this again, just call me. Come to the audition tomorrow if you want, it's at 14:00 in my house.
With that, they turned and walked towards the door (well, Alex dragged Mai). They opened it, and both said "Bye, Lucky" before they ran into the night, heading home.

[Dylan]

"You! This all happened because I wanted to be a good guy and follow you! Augh, ******, it hurts! Can someone call Alex? Amelia, I suppose you have his number.... please tell him to take me home... or to the vet clinic!"
Amelia spoke bitterly to Gary adding a little sarcasm, Wait, first you yell at me, then you ask for help? Yeah, that's a good way to get on someones good side. Looking back at his foot she saw the large amount of blood, I suppose I could help you, only because I care so much... Amelia faced Pyxis, You should stay here with Gary I'm going to go to Lucky's house nearby. Amelia turn back to the black cat, You I need to...where did you go? with a confused voice she scratched her head, Okay... Amelia shook her head, starting to run towards Lucky's.

Pyxis watched Amelia run off, turning to Gary, Well, is there anything I can do?

meanwhile.. on the other side of town..

Rav finally got Magnus home an to bed...

Not wanting to interupt the two coons stare off , he slips out an trots across the street to his house, making it in just as Sara is driving down the street from work..

rav slinks into the bathroom an fills the tub up with nice HOT water bath...
a strange dog he, not only like water an baths, but with really hot tub water temp. at that..

He carefully removes the wrapping about his arms, an drops them into the trash can.. there Mom will never know i was hurt.. an climbs into the tub.. ooww oww Ooh oww Ow Ahhhh OOoh Owww OoOOo HmMMMmmmmmmm

He lays back in the tub an soaks, panting like crazy.. huff huff huff huff hufff

As the two cats walk towards their house, Alex notices a shade in the dark walking towards them. On closer inspection, he figured it was Amelia.
Amelia! - he exclaims, and runs towards her. She seemed more.... normal than before.
What happened? Where's Pyxis? Where's Gary? Did he find you? Did you find him? Is he home?

Well, is there anything I can do?

Just.... please help me stand up.
With these words, Gary managed to get up on one leg. He managed to keep standing by holding himself to Pyxis, moving his weight to his shoulders.

With a smile, Lucky waves as Alex and Mai leave. As he walks back in to the main part of the house his human "sister" Grins. "Have fun?"
Lucky just can't stop grinning for some reason. "Oh yeah, it was a great time."

Balbaroy looks at the window to the angry protester's. One sign even says "God Hates Fags", but Balbaroy wonders why cigarettes are so bad. Before long they start to disperse.

Amelia heard familiar voice call her name, Alex? She saw him coming towards her, "What happened? Where's Pyxis? Where's Gary? Did he find you? Did you find him? Is he home?" Amelia was out of breath from all the running, but hastily answered his questions as fast as she could, "Gary injured himself. he is with Gary. I found him. and no...Call a vet or something, because Gary's wound looks pretty bad right now and can hardly stand." Amelia pointed to area where they were across the street.

"Just.... please help me stand up." Pyxis shook his head, I think it would be better if we wait for help.

[Alex]

Injured? Alex facepawed.. with both paws. Why couldn't that idiot take care of himself for once? He looked to where Amelia pointed. Two figures could be seen standing in the dark.... or are they standing? One of them seems to be falling to the ground. He starts running towards them...

Augh! - exclaimed Gary, once his body met the hard ground again. Since Pyxis refused to help him, he let go of him, trying to stand on one leg, but apparently it didn't go so well.
muffins and cookies! Why isn't nobody coming?
Just at that point, Alex arrives, looking freaked out, but that was not the case. He was just angry again. The whole day today was a mess for him. Nothing seemed to go right.
What have you done?! How the Bicycle Repair Man could you hurt yourself? And why RIGHT NOW?! Come on, get up, we're going home!
It was time for anger to catch Gary, too.
Hey now, it's not MY fault there was this muffins and cookies super-sharp rock in the middle of nothing else but grass! And I'm not getting up nor going home, just LOOK at the injury!
Without any questions, Alex got on all four in order to inspect the injury. Gary was right, after all. It wasn't bad, it was horrible. A very deep cut indeed, right in the middle of the sensitive "pillows". Again, wordless, Alex took out his cell phone, and made a phone call. Soon enough, a car arrives, and his mom steps out.
"What happened? Where's Gary? How bad is it?"
Her overreaction made Mai laugh. She didn't know how bad Gary was injured yet, since she just arrived with Amelia.
He's right here, mom. You should take him to the animal clinic. I'll go home soon, and I'll take Mai with me.
Said, done. Mom took Gary into their car, and drove off. The four cats remained on the field near the street. Alex came closer to Amelia. He couldn't help but smile - she seemed normal again.
So.... uhm... thanks for helping him. - were the weak words that escaped his mouth, before he rushed towards her, and hugged her.
I'm so glad you're the old self again! Promise me you'll never do this again!
He sighed relieved, and closed his eyes, enjoying the touch of her body once more this day.

Amelia gave a small confused look at Alex, she shook it off fast however, Yeah, me too... Feeling the embrace of his hug, she hugged him back, I missed you too... after a few moments have past she released him. With a sad look on her face she spoke softly to him, Its getting late, I better go soon. With that she gave a small wave towards Pyxis telling him its time to go. Maybe tomorrow...we can meet again. Amelia and Pyxis both gave a small wave to Alex and Mai before heading home. When they got home, Pyxis gave a look at her once he figured Amelia wouldn't lash out at him, Did you forget about Octavian? she gave a small sigh, no I didn't... she paused a little before continuing, she smiled and winked at Pyxis Don't worry I'll make it up to him, She entered her room upstairs, taking her ID tag off, Amelia Held the flat part that stuck out behind it and proceeded to her locker. Amelia smiled as she unlocked her locker, Bout time I made something. she took an empty container and gathered a few things. Amelia picked up a soldering tool and some super glue and began to start working.

Alex watched them leave, with a sad look on his face. A few more moments with Amelia would fix this day for him, but it was getting really late, so he proceeded to go home, walking very slowly. Their house wasn't really that far away, so soon enough, the two cats were in front of it. The car was parked, too, so that means that Gary got back from the vet clinic. So soon? He wasn't there for 10 minutes....

With a sigh, Alex opened the door, and walked into the living room. In it, mom, dad, George (Gary's owner) and Gary were sitting, eating dinner while watching TV. Gary's foot was covered in band-aids, and a crutch was on the floor near his armchair.
"Oh, you're finally back! Come on, dinner's ready. You haven't eaten anything the whole day, Alex!"
Alex didn't feel like answering her. He also didn't tell her about the sandwich he ate, which, in his opinion, was enough food for today. He was moody again - Gary will leave soon.
Why so moody? - asked Gary, once both Alex and Mai sat down, and proceeded to eat their dinner. It appeared that he was in a much better mood than Alex.
You should know....
Should I?
Please don't act like a child. You know that you're leaving tonight!
A moment of silence followed. Everybody was quiet in the room, until.... Gary burst into laughter.
"No, he isn't" - answered George. "We'll stay tomorrow, too."
Really?!
"Yes, I figured that I could take another day off."
That was awesome. It was more than enough to return the smile to Alex' face. For some reason, he couldn't stop grinning.
"I want you all to go to bed right now." - said their mom. "They gave Gary stitches at the animal clinic, by the way. He can't stand on that foot for a week, said the vet. Also, he'll sleep with you, Alex."
What?! With ME?! No way! We have a guest room!
"Yes, and George is sleeping in it. It's only for one night."
They all proceeded to laugh at Alex' fake angry face, before the felines went upstairs to their beds. They fell asleep pretty quickly.

Iiro saw it getting dark outside. I should go back to my house... He thought, standed up and walked out from the Wall. He started to walk to his house, opened the door and stepped in. The living room was full of cardboard boxes. Iiro closed the door and walked to the living room. He opened some of them taking parts of a wooden bed and some tools. He took them to another room where he started to build the bed. When he was ready, he walked back to the living room lifted a mattress from the ground. He carried it to the bed and layed it to the bed. Then he climbed to the bed and felled asleep.

[Djinn]

Djinn was still entangled in the bush, and it was starting to get dark. Oh well, guess I'm sleeping here tonight. Just my luck too. At least I have a good view of the sky. He looked up and his view was unobstructed and he managed to see the few stars that were out tonight. He began thinking various thoughts, nothing specific and eventually drifted off to sleep.

Sean walked down the sidewalk. A breeze ruffled his fur, the chill causing him to shiver. 'I need to fnd somewhere to sleep, away from the wind.' He continued walking until he came to a bridge with an old house on the other side. Even in the dark it was obviously abandoned. 'That'll do nicely' As he approached the house he noticed that the door was ajar, now he wouldn't have to force his way in. Smiling, he went inside.

[Buckdida]

Venison sat silently in Pavelle's living room, leaning back against the couch. Not much could be heard other than Magnus' snoring, which rattled the house. As far as he knew, Pavelle was watching Magnus sleep. Felix's location, on the other hand, he knew rather too well, and was annoyed simply by the 'coon's presence on the couch across from him. Perhaps it was the tension. Maybe he should leave, unless someone forced him to talk...It was getting dark, anyway.

(OOC: I figure that we dragged Magnus inside by now.)

=====The next morning====

She woke up to the sound of the wind in the trees, yawning she got up and climbed out of the crevice in the the side of the tree. "shouldn't be much fuuurrrrthhher" she stretched as she said this and then started walking along the river that lead down from the mountains. it was starting to get a bit less rocky and tough to climb, finally she was back to the forest after so long.
what had it been?.... 15?... 18 days since she left? at this point she couldn't remember. it all blurred together after a while, for all she knew it could have been a month. after a while of walking she found the old place where some of her pack used to sit and watch the water roll by. she sighed at the thought of her fellow pack-mates, it was always so welcoming there. not as disconnected and disjointed as pet-hood. but at least your always warm and well-fed while you're a pet. she stopped to look at the rock Surtr used to sit on. sighing again she moved on towards the town, hoping against hope that her old owners would still be there.

------meanwhile in Octavian's house------

he woke up looking out his second story window towards the park. "Gah crap..." he said remembering what happened last night. dad had gotten pretty mad at what had happened but then realized that Octavian was already climbing the stairs to dry off and go to bed. at that he let Octavian sleep for the night before telling him more about what had happened. he got up grumbling and still limping a bit. he walked into the kitchen putting on his collar "Morning dad" he said "Morning..." said dad sipping some cup filled with a dark green liquid. "so what happened last night?" his dad said sternly "Uhm... well... to put it shortly i was picked up, thrown to the ground and then dropped off a bridge by my collar..." Octavian said almost sheepishly. almost.

dad was silent for a second breathing deeply and counting in Russian. "один... два... три... четыре..." he did this for a while until he said "Who did this to you?" his dad asked calmly. "Uhm... a cat named..." he was hesitant, Octavian wasn't quite sure what his dad would do. "i won't do anything serous" his dad said like he read Octavian's mind or something. "I'm just going to tell the pets owner what he or she did to you" Octavian was silent for a few seconds and then said "it was a cat named Amelia" he fiddled with his tag a bit and then continued "she lives down three house's towards the bridge." he sighed "Do you mind if i eat out today?" he asked still fiddling with his tag. "sure, i need to get a few things done any way, how much do you need?" he asked finishing off the cup of liquid "i think a 5 would do" his dad chuckled "no offense but your much cheaper then a teenager" his dad said pulling out a five and handing it to Octavian. he took the five and walked out the front door with a slight limp.

Djinn wakes up the next morning still caught in a bush. For a moment he is disoriented, but finally remembers everything. Oh, right. This mess. After shifting around for a little bit he finally manages to free himself, hitting the ground from the short distance. "Yes! Freedom!" He smacks his lips a little, scratches his armpit, and looks around before remembering the abandoned house. Well, may as well keep pressing forward. He begins walking towards the house, unaware of the new resident.

".....or......ey, O'Co.......O'CONNOR!!!!!!!!" O'Connor woke up to his name being screamed in his face, sitting up quickly. "Gwuh?" His eyes focused just in time to see a red blur smack against the wall, giving out a shrill chirp of shock. As Tory hit the ground, O'Connor got up quickly, running over to him. "Oi, lahd! Sorreh 'bou' tha'. Yu a'ruight?" Tory shook his head a bit, and laughed. "Man, I gotta wake you up like that more often!" he jumped up and checked himself out, looking for new injuries. Then, he climbed up the old dog and placed himself on O'Connor's head. "Anyways, I say we continue to explore the neighborhood. We both seem pretty new to the area, and this way, we have something to do, and we get to know the area better! We kill two cats with one stone!"
O'Connor laughed at the twisted expression. "A'ruight, laddeh, le's get goin', then." The two quickly headed out the door and started down the street.

Balbaroy yawns and sits up in his dog bed. After rubbing his eyes and a few moments of inactivity he stands up and opens the curtains to see what the bright new day has brought. Apparently it's brought more protesters. Across the street in front of The Wall there are 3 or 4 gay rights protesters holding their signs and casually standing about. He still think this is weird but doesn't quite grasp the whole situation.

Lucky wakes up in the morning at his desk. After the "jam session" last night he got inspired and began working on songs again at his desk. Reaching over he turns of the lamp he had on and stand up, stretching his back which is sore from the position he slept in last night.

[Alex]

Alex woke up, and yawned. It was still early in the morning. The room was silent, except for the still snoozing of Gary and Mai. He got up, careful about not waking up Gary, and got out of the room. The house was still semi-dark, but Alex could see just fine. Downstairs was oddly empty and silent. Where was everybody? Both dad and mom took vacation, so they aren't working.... so where are they?
"Hey, who just climbed downstairs?" - came a voice from the bathroom.
Me.
In that moment, the doorkey was heard, and mom came out of the bathroom, wearing a bathrobe.
"Up so early?"
Yeah... Gary and Mai are still sleeping, though, so I'm a bit bored. Where are dad and George? - talked Alex to her, while they both walked to the living room, where they sat down.
"Ah, they went fishing, they'll be out there the whole day. I'll follow them with our other car later, I just wanted to make sure you have everything."
Alex chuckled. The idea of the three being together somewhere far far away, on a peaceful lake, fishing and having fun, was funny. But they were made out of flesh and blood, too, and needed vacation. The good thing was they'll be out the whole day - an empty house.
Oh... it's fine. You know we don't eat a lot. - he said, with a smile.
"I already made some food. There are two pizzas in the oven, there's milk in the fridge, cornflakes, juices, you have everything. I just stayed because I wanted to tell you to behave yourself, and to not burn down the house while we're gone."
Aww mom, what do you hold us for? We're not mindless idiots. Well, Mai is, but...
With it, mom petted Alex, and bent down to his size. However, once she was close enough, her face was covered with the gross-expression, as she backed away.
"Alex. You reek! When was the last time you had a bath?"
Uhm... yeah... I... I bathed a... two days ago! Of course, this was a lie. For reference, he didn't take a bath since they moved.
"You lie. Okay then, when was the last time for you to groom yourself?"
Alex began sweating. If there's one thing he hates, it's water. Grooming and bathing is just horrible for him. Since no answer came, soon enough a hand grabbed him by his collar, and the bathroom door was getting nearer and nearer.
No, don't! I don't wanna take a bath! I'll groom myself! Let go of me!
"I wish you could just smell yourself! It's horrible, I don't know how the pets around you can withstand it."
Once they were inside the bathroom, he started swinging his arms and legs uncontrollably, but to no avail. Mom already started filling the tub with hot water.
No! For the love of god, no!
This would be funny if he'd view it from the side, but right now, it was freaking him out. This was it, the tub was filled, and mom raised him above it, until.... SPLASH! She dropped him, and he met face-to-face with the water. Not only was it hot, but it was WET! He stood up, but slipped back in, and again, and again, until he gave up the attempts to stand up. All he could do is sit in the tub, with the water surrounding him. It was terrible.
"Just LOOK at the water! It's dark! That's how dirty you were! We'll have to refill."
She grabbed the cork, and took it out. Alex watched gladly as the water went away, but it was only temporary, and he was still wet. Next thing he knew was that a high amount of water was spilled on his head. Mom took the shower, held it above his head, and turned the water on. This was even worse than before, but mom was right - the water was clean, but it was dirty once it left his fur. Finally, she turned the water off. Just when Alex thought she was done, a big amount of shampoo was spilled on his head.
"I want you to rub yourself with it. Clean every part of your body. Come on now, the faster you do it, the quicker we're done here."
Although unwilling to admit, he knew that she was right. It was no use trying to resist, so he just rubbed the shampoo as fast as he could across his body, until she grabbed the shower again, and washed it off.

-A couple of minutes later-
You're crazy! - shouted Alex, while sitting in the living room with mom. He was using not one, but three towels, in order to dry himself as quickly as possible.
You're crazy! I'm cold, I'm WET, and I feel just horrible!
Upon these words, she burst into laughter. Once she was done laughing, she stood up, grabbed a basket filled with food and drinks, and walked towards the door.
"Okay then, my work is done. I'm going. I will return earlier than George and dad. Bye!"
Yeah yeah, just you go... - whispered Alex, once she left. He was still shaking.

Meanwhile a taxi drove through the neighbourhood "Aah, Here she is! Richardson Valley. Land of many Pets, huh, Giacomo?" A russian man in the back anounced. The pet beside him painfully straightened his back "If I meet the man who made pet carriers, I'll kill him." The man who was Jacks dad chuckled "Rough flight, yes?" "It's surprisingly bumpy in the cargo area. Lucky I had a lock picking utensil."

The man tutted "Giacomo Theadovich Tarasov, we not in Russia anymore. You must promise me you be on good behaviour. Is great opportunity for you to live with human-ish dignity." "I know Papa, I know."

Soon it came to a stop at a empty store. The man got out and looked at his new abode with a proud grin on his face. "We'll good profit here, no stores nearby that accept pets so well." The siberian Husky climbed with his father. "I will deal with the unpacking, make yourself known and come around when the moving van comes." "Yes Papa."

Amelia woke up when she heard something roll off her desk, picking her head up she rubbed her eyes while yawning. She looked down at her desk to see her project almost finished, she mumbled to herself, I guess I dozed off last night, She tried to remember where she left off, Oh right, connecting the... Amelia attached the battery to the harness and soldered it to the buzzer, She already installed the toggle switch yesterday so she quickly soldered the remaining wires to complete the inside of the container. Now to screw the top... she opened a drawer and face pawed, Gah! I forgot that I never bought any... She rummaged around her desk in till he hand felt a round object, Ah, this will work...for now anyway. Out of the drawer she pulled out duck tape and set it on her desk. Amelia reached out for a pill bottle and placed it next to the square container, wrapping it around the box and the pill bottle so both were next to each other tight. Amelia set down the contraption and jump out of her seat heading for her locker. It was Already open so she searched the shelves until she found what she was looking for, taking hand full of earplugs she walked back to her desk, and stuffed them in the pill bottle, closing the lid when she was done. She placed the device on the desk once again and smiled at her work. Amelia started walking into the hallway passing Pyxis' room, she wondered if he was awake. She didn't want to disturb him so she place her head on the door, at first she heard nothing, but soon she heard some rustling within the room. Amelia backed away from the door, I guess I'll let him sleep late today...After all, I gave him a rough day yesterday... feeling slightly depressed at yesterdays events and feelings that she couldn't control. Amelia stood back up again, encouraging herself, Oh well, its a new day! She continued downstairs to make breakfast.

Magnus' eyes flickered open. He was lying awkwardly on his bed, upper half of his body hanging off the side, top of his head touching the ground. He swiveled his head around, concerned, wondering how he had managed to learn to sleep on the ceiling. Maybe he had gotten bitten by a radioactive spider... or maybe it was yesterday's coffee! That must be it! He was so excited about the prospect of being like Spiderman that he started squirming in place, and as he squirmed, he slid further and further off the bed until *CRASH*. He laid in a heap on the ground, disoriented, disappointed that his powers seemed to have worn off. Oh well. Maybe they only worked when he was sleeping. He clumsily tried to right himself, scrambling to his knees and then to his feet. And then a thought hit him. The music auditions! They were today! New enthusiasm took hold and he hurriedly made way for the door, but tripped over a ball of grey fur that was lying in the middle of his floor and ended up back on the floor again. At least he had made it to the hallway. A small staircase, about a third the size of a normal one, was not a foot away, and Magnus didn't want to risk falling again, so he just rolled in that direction, *clunkclunkclunk* down the steps, rolling and tumbling and enjoying the mini-ride. It didn't hurt, but he found himself quite dizzy, and when he stood this time, he staggered, knocking over a nearby bookcase, spilling a huge amount of books all over the living room floor. He looked around, too happy to be discouraged by all the mess he had already caused. He got to hear music today!

Meanwhile...
Pavelle was having a nice sleep when she was interrupted by Magnus' feet nearly crushing her midsection. She let out a breathy, painful, "Oof!" of air, forced to exhale, coming awake so unexpectedly that she immediately went into "flight" mode, going from a relaxed position on the ground into a sideways combat roll, expertly gliding into Magnus' open closet door, soundlessly launching herself to the top shelf, where she took on a defensive pose. And then it hit her that she wasn't being attacked. Still, she stayed up in his closet for a couple seconds, surveying everything she could see, checking it out, just to make sure. She classified it as "safe" and dropped back down to the floor, hand going to her sore abdomen, which Magnus had half-stepped on. A heavy thumping was coming from the stairway area, and she jumped in that direction, going out the door in time to see Magnus spill a great number of books everywhere. She groaned, padding down the staircase, not stepping to the floor for fear of stepping onto one of the books and either damaging it or hurting herself by slipping on it. "Magnus!" she whispered angrily, gesturing about frantically, looking over at the couch area, hoping no books managed to fly over there and hit anybody.

Meanwhile...
Felix was curled up on a chair facing the front of the couch. He hadn't slept last night. At least, not as soundly as he had wanted to. His nose had never been great, but for some reason the scent of that Coydog was annoying him, catching his attention, making him nervous. He ignored the couple of crashes as Magnus greeted the day, and layed curled comfortably up, though his ears stood almost ramrod straight, listening to everything in the house that he possibly could. Never unaware...

((sorry for not posting earlier... Buck, I'm leaving it open to you whether or not Venison slept here or at Rav's or wherever. I figured that Felix and Venison shouldn't have started a new conversation after everyone else was waking up the next morning.))
