Timeline be darned, we're getting Halloween stuff. This isn't the first time this has happened; there was the Halloween Interlude in the middle of Jata's wedding. The mummy wraps kinda undermines the invisable dog idea, Tiger, and I don't even understand the fourth panel. Is this dog dressing up like a dog? What's Tiger's plan for seeing out of all those costumes? Now I'm curious what Marvin is going to dress up as.

Ahh, Trick or Treating.

I have fond memories of doing that myself, & looking forward to handing out treats to the kids who used to come to our door.

The practice has fallen off in the last few years though. Not enough kids in the village, & parents are concerned about the safety of those who remain, so we all just arrange a little costume party in the local pub for both kids & adults & with prizes for the best costume. Usually goes down well.

Tiger's Very Own Super Special Television Show shows what happens when Marvin isn't around to hold Tiger's leash.

Marvin is the most underdeveloped developed character in the entire series. He has more depth than other one-off teritary characters like Daisy, Natalie, or Terrance. But compared to Tiger, he is there solely as Tiger's assistant like a stage magician's. He's a sidekick in the worse possible way. Back in the olden days, Marvin was friends with Max, actually did stuff like the haunted house escapade, and helped out more. Now he's been reduced to being there for one panel for one strip once a year. We've seen Marvin's intelligence and common sense but it is always overshadowed by Tiger's antics. Marvin even went Trick or Treating back in 2008.

I know that and it is such a crying shame. I am actually really cut up about that. During the pie war that Tiger started we didn't even get to see Bailey hit Marvin in the face with a pie! I feel so cheated!

But seriously, Marvin does need to get the spotlight some more. Though I think Rick only things of him as a character that is there.
