May I remind you that even if the ferret is intoxicated (I won't say drunk), he's not driving, therefor, no need to pull them overGameCobra wrote:Also, wouldn't it be awesome if Fido pulled them over? Come on now.
So their dad wanted animals to be treated like humans? And they want to realize the idea? Good luck with that >_>

I didn't look! I hadn't thought about whether his paws should be brown or pink

Heh, Keene.
"You are awesome and like the best friend I have ever had"

Re: current comic
Not really. If you look at Monday's comic, the last panel exactly, you'll notice that his pink paws are in the middle of it, and it's the first thing people usually notice. And it took me like 2 minutes to get the pictureDylan wrote:You have way too much time on your hands...

Also, Miles is a stray wolf, and he knows how to put the seat belt on?

It's also been stated in the comic that he's read up on human civilization before he came to the city; he probably picked it up in one of those books.Alex wrote:Also, Miles is a stray wolf, and he knows how to put the seat belt on?
Re: current comic
So Keene's a bit of a lightweight, huh? :p
What's a ferret weigh, a couple pounds? And even in this anthro universe, can't be more than a couple dozen.

Re: current comic
Hmm... i think i needed to say this arc was very interesting so far!
Peculiarly, it's interesting to see the Ferrets in this kind of light. We no doubt see them as power-hungry Ferrets, but have their pride from their owner i assume.
i'm more intrigued though in wondering if the Ferrets will ever come across issues in the future or if they'll be the ones that get everything easy in this comic. not that i don't mind, i'm just starting to see the Ferrets moreso like a behind-the-scenes power figure with humor.

Re: current comic
Much like dog-cat marriages, I believe this arrangement stands upon shaky legal ground.

Re: current comic
Depends on how they do it. i'm sure they would have it alot easier with a pet marriage than a wild animal owning actual property.
But in a sense, i would agree that the part about them holding property and such would definitely be a hard rule to pass, but then again, if they are the only wild animal family in town, there mightbe a exception.

But she worked so hard on it..... I just wonder how people might react on it
Re: current comic

Somehow i was prompted to do that. like the universe had to correct Grape o.o
i'm wondering who will come? I'm guessing the humans will have trouble getting use to them, while the pets will adore them.
Also, does Lucretia look notably younger since last time? Even though she's wearing an apron?
i think it's the eyes =3

Who else has done this exact same thing before? I know I have. I was a female wolf at the time and everything.

This might be a little late, but has anyone figured out the ferrets' motives for this wolf-related scheme?

Re: current comic
Simon explains back in "Money Sharks" that Mr. Milton was an animal lover who wanted pets to be well-treated; it's probably not any more complicated than that. However, his ferrets are attempting to carry out his wishes by plopping a pack of wild animals smack into the middle of a human neighborhood as a kind of social experiment (to prove that ferals can live exactly like people do), which sounds rather misguided, and may not end well.

Re: current comic
OK, that makes sense. There was just mention of "exploiting every pet loophole in existance", which confused me.
DOH HO HO WELL THEN
Re: current comic
I'd say I bet Rick doesn't have the guts to make it not end well, but after the ending of the date arc, I refuse to underestimate his guts. :pSinder wrote:plopping a pack of wild animals smack into the middle of a human neighborhood as a kind of social experiment (to prove that ferals can live exactly like people do), which sounds rather misguided, and may not end well.
Re: current comic
The way i picture it, it might actually work out for the pets, but not the humans, and the wolf pack become something of a figurehead of the pets in the neighbourhood somehow since they, beside the ferrets, are the first to have their own pet rights at the moment.
But i'm very anxious to see what will happen now in this arc. I'm also very curious about how big the wolf pack is at this point (Since Peanut is getting along as well. he's a helper!) and how will he react to them?

Ebly was only gone for two weeks. I wonder if he's still annoyed for me forgetting to tell you guys he would be. Then again, I'm not the lazy son-of-a-gun who refused to load up the internet browser. I *know* he still had internet, even if it was physically painfully slow internet on an equally crappy computer. I even showed him Toasty's wolf hat!
And as for the comic: That centerpiece better not be the Venison I know.
And Lucretia must have washed up after preparing the thing.
EDIT: Wow, I missed my 500 post mark. I spend waaaaaaaaay too much time here. Not a bad thing though!

Re: current comic
Rick's gonna learn to hate me, I just know it.
1) This comic has no tags!
2) In panel 3, Bill asks to see "them", referring to the people who are the (ostensibly human) owners of the house; however, Miles has not mentioned the owners--he merely says that the everyone on the property is licensed as a pet--so Bill's response doesn't make sense, from a grammatical point of view. He could be referring to the wolves themselves, but he already asks them to come out in panel 2, so the resulting conversation sounds a little awkward.
EDIT: 3) Panel 2: "Premises", not "premesis".

1. Miles has great "hair."
2. Miles keeps getting buffer.
3. Wolf tailwag for the win.

Curse you, Sinder! You're going to make Rick hide!
But i was reading it and felt like it was missing something as well around panel 3 as well. It's hard to tell the difference between Bill requesting to see the pets or the owners of the property.
EDIT: To Answer Buck, i'm guessing between panels 1 and 2, he went inside the house to get the card. his hand is far enough down to not see the card.

Anyone else feel that this arc will follow the events from just before the Civil War or women's rights movement?
(If this post was offensive in any way, please alert me. I haven't posted, or looked at the rules, in forever. And the last forum I was at was at least PG-13...)

Could be just me, with the comic just being a few minutes away... but that doorway that Miles and Peanut are at almost looks like a similar position when a certain cat got creamed.
