I don't think it being bootleg is the problem. Keene is dumping it because he wants to get rid of temptation. Little does he know that the whole bay is gonna explode when those Pop-Rocks hit the water and he'll have no way at ALL to escape the temptation.

Ah, so Guest Week is a full 7-day week rather than what I’d originally thought. I thought it meant a week’s worth of strips which would mean we’d get 3 guest strips.

That first panel is stellar, and I also find the idea of Keene engaging in clandestine nighttime protest of a tax law way out where nobody will notice to be hilarious. Although, people will take notice once those Pop Rocks Rock Pops get dropped in...

At least the dolphin uprising will be postponed due to inebriation and/or displacement of their troops to distant oceans.

I am a bit curious though. Does putting Pop-Rocks in soda have a violent reaction like Mentos does? I only know about Mentos and Coke being mixed together and making a geyser. Specifically Coke and mint Mentos for the explosive reaction.

Let me get this straight. So Keene hijacked a freighter with the help of Daryl to dump the cargo and Breel tagged along. Previously, Keene asked Karishad to steel soda from somewhere else and fly it to him se he could dump it in the same harbor. Completely separately, Rock asked Karishad to dispose of excess Rock Pops his company produced and Karishad got creative. In the end Karishad is dropping illegally acquired non-Milton soda and illegally disposing of Milton brand candy (and of course, such a combination is explosive). Am I understanding that right?

Doubtful. Unless Cory and Trinket subject their hypothetical beverage to government taxes and regulations, that wouldn't be the product to protest with.

I honestly wouldn't doubt that they own soda companies, boats, and planes.

Those are all things where it's believable the ferrets could own them, it's just I don't see how this would make sense if the soda Keene's dumping is from his own company, as no one would care about such a protest (except shareholders, if he has those). I'm not sure is the plane is theirs or not yet.

The comic said he is protesting the new tax placed on soda so I;m thinking that it might be soda from another company that he is dumping in the lake to prevent people from buying soda and paying the new tax.
