Peanut’s on the prowl
scaring Grape from her socks
asking questions he thought
with help from BiddyFox!
The couch was all comfy
but his odd pondering
has really disturbed her
and got her wondering.
Fried fries are just complex
far beyond how you heat
and, when salted and spiced,
you’d really want to eat?

There is Peanut thinking of stuff that he doesn't know existed and wondering what would they be like since he didn't see them and then Grape thinking of the practical side of his ideas and asking how it would even work. XD
Peanut shouts to wake up Grape: classic. That's a cool idea, Peanut, but as seems, such vending machines already exist in the world (and I didn't know of that, though). Well, I guess the French fries are put in it already fried, what the machine does is only heat them at the moment, when the client requests them. Serve them in little cups is much better, Grape.
Cute simple comic. Nice work, biddyfox.
Oh, Peanut. Peanut, Peanut, Peanut...those already exist. They take about a minute to fry in the machine and are served in a cup. They have them in China and a few other countries outside of the US.

They do! The trick is that you can chill or freeze partially cooked fries and then fry them. Most restaurants will par-cook fries and then finish them to order so it's not that crazy.

Not really surprised, I mean, we already have vending machines that make a pizza for you on the spot in several countries now including the US that take less than 3 minutes, and there have been several ones that fresh-pop popcorn for you (there was even a popcorn arcade "game" with Sonic), a french fry vending machine is actually pretty realistic. Usually the wait time is pretty short, and having to wait at all is offset by the novelty of it.

It seems Peanut's idea was so good, even the people of the past decided to copy it from him!
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

Time is cyclical. Peanut's so far behind the curve that he's actually the genius in front of it.

I really love Biddyfox's art style. It's so cute! The writing and panel composition is great as well, especially the beat on the third panel.
With the right community, getting into a webcomic at the beginning of a brand new arc can feel just as enjoyable and rewarding as being there from the beginning.

Next thing you know ~ catnip vending machines :3

I'm sure in the HP universe, Catnip machines went away along with cigarette machines. If not, Max would already be a daily customer.
Almost certainly. It would be hard for a vending machine to enforce a ban on selling to pets.

Not at all. If anything there would be a problem if you didn't say "haha, classic Peanut!" when reading a fan comic (unless Peanut isn't featured, of course).
