Sometimes being right sucks.

So instead of just retiring the spa they’re going to destroy it.......I approve this plan.

Simon making a comeback. I’m starting to see why he gets forcibly ejected from places.

In a way, Joey did ask for it

. Joey is the only character with goggles and he doesn't even have them over his eyes.

when Simon brought out the big gun
and blew up the high diving board.
Squeak’s happy she’s not there,
on her usual mounting place,
or else she’d be seeing stars
as they were blown out into space.
Joey’s in for a hard landing here
as he falls to the water below,
only seen by the pirate Simon
and Keene, lying on a li-lo.

Even putting cartoon Logic in This, I can't help but cringe at the fact that Simon thought it was hilarious to shoot a Civilian with an Iron Cannonball for the sake of a Laugh.

And yes, I said Iron. Lead doesn't do that much damage to a Steel and Polymer Diving board.

So hopefully, Keene doesn't just Tell Simon to calm down. And I agree with the One who said, "So that is Why Simon keeps getting banned from places." If he keeps acting the way he does, he is going to actually get Sued or arrested for borderline Criminal actions.

Also Rick lists Daisy as "The dumber dog" so yeah.... Also the fact that she "hides" her normalcy contradicts the very notion that she is normal. I think the only characters who are "normal" are the humans and Miles.

Remember, the first plot of the spa was people trying to arrest Keene and not succeeding. Additionally, in Jungle Fever we see the Miltons have a judge in their pocket. Even if his actions are criminal, I think he'll be able to ferret his way out of repercussions.

You're right. We couldn't see the ship in the first two panels, but it was directly in Joey's line of sight. Then again, maybe Joey thought it was a fake because he doubted Simon was crazy enough to play with a real cannon.
