Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Stuck on the island with a Housepet
You're stranded on a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific. You don't know when or if you'll be rescued. You get to bring along any one Housepets character, excluding the Celestials.
Who do you bring along?

Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Celestials? Why choose bahamut when you can choose a universe warper like karishad?
Or at least a Mungo if magic(k) isn't available

Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Any pet that knows what to do in a survival situation would be good.
Preferably Fido or one of the other police dogs.

Would love to talk about everyone's dirty secrets with her. Like what movies does Peanut scream like a girl on... and Max.
Also: totally be a pretend boyfriend.

Cobra is going to be a canon character at this rate.
Nice job, and quick too.

now we need to find ways to insert GC into the other 100+ arcs.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Alright, keep it clean, y'all.

Getting sort of creepy...
If I can't choose Satau, maybe I'd just chill with Joey doing games for the rest of my life.

*Spit take*
Though i'm flattered, I would totally be avoiding licking moss off of trees. x3 (And probably would've chose Res over Mungo)
The only thing i could ever boast with other cats is being super snugglable.

Presumably someone intelligent so there's lots to talk about!
Res would be fun. He could tell stories to keep me entertained.

I'd choose Mungo. He's helpful and seems like a handy dog. I wouldn't mind his clumsiness much. Plus, he looks comfortable to rest on and that's obviously the most important thing about this question.

Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
I'd hope to be stuck on an island with Bailey. Y'know, at a time way before she became a mom--don't wanna separate a good mom from her puppies! I mean, she's kind and loving, and tough and dependable, and she'd be great for cuddling with on those cold island nights. She's resourceful, too: look how she turned her handkerchief that turned into a giant scarf into a nice cloth wrap dealie when she was stuck on Australia.
Shucks.
She'd be a great survival partner.

Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Well, if not Sabrina, then maybe Fox. He's intelligent, creative, and bent on being heroic so he might get us off. And again, as with Sabrina and Fido, there will be other out there determined to rescue him.
Granted, you might say the same of Sasha. She'd be entertaining to say the least, and there's something to be said for having a relentless optimist around...

I would probably go for Mungo... after all, he's a certified therapy dog!

Dallas is most likely to have a portable WiFi solution. Also, who cares about getting rescued? As long as I can figure out a way to get power, food, water, and an internet connection, I'm fine anywhere. People are overrated. People means having to work.

I think I would prefer Karishad even if he is technically not a pet. Better than TV!

Well, he also seems to be able to bend reality towards his will, soooo, maybe you would get off sooner than you thought?MX682XM wrote:I think I would prefer Karishad even if he is technically not a pet. Better than TV!

Might want to make sure there are no Chinese finger traps, those seem to be his weakness

Yeah, we don't want him to go the same way as Keene. The denizens of Heaven don't need a Karishad up there

Karishad is the celestials greatest fear, he could break even heaven.

Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
It's hard to choice, but I would pick my favourite character Maxwell, making him a friend of mine. If I could pick some more, then they're Sabrina and Marvin, so they're forced to make peace with Maxwell.
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Maxwell would be fun, although I'd hope catnip withdrawal wouldn't be a problem. Peanut would be a riot, too.
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Res, because then he can TEACH ME ALL THE WRITING SECRETS, and then we can write for each other and have our own little writer's club in the middle of the Atlantic/Pacific
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
I think I'd have to agree with you there. That'd be pretty fun. ^^

Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Sasha would be engaging company...
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Well yeah, I'd love to see what kind of hidden smartness she's got
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Indeed. Hopefully the same folks who got paper and pen for you and Res will get a piano for Sasha and me. She plays a wicked Tchaikovsky!
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
two islands, one filled with music the other filled with stories, sounds peaceful
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Keene could be fun ... and he's definitely got connections in High Places.

Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Puns?! Okay, I'm retreating to an island with ... Daisy. 'cause I just like her... she has potential [as Ms. Othmar used to say about Linus Van Pelt.] And she's buds with Sasha so Sasha will rescue us when the evil puns are gone.
Re: Stuck on the island with a Housepet
Yeah! The puns are the most strong weapon of all times! (Just look at kitsune)Gael wrote:NO!!! Puns are a sign of strength and you must embrace them
And i would go with peanut, no matter what.
