Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Well this is useful information ... except that it is not. At all.
Oh look it's Grape !

So pretty much, no one has any idea where she is.
Also Rex, Griswold, and Sten are back!

I feel like Sten's collar might be in violation of the dress code - I mean, his neck is plainly visible.

Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
So now begins the Q and A,
of those that were there today,
including one who needed Fennel
and... an escapee from C-Kennel?
Dreamers are first try their luck,
telling tales full of fantasy pluck,
whilst reality is far more boring -
More like that and they’ll be snoring.
Security’s breached by a feline spy,
claiming she’s there for biscuit and pie
Sten may know more than he’s telling
but that’s not the reason he’s smelling...
It’s not going well, this session.
The Ol’ boys don’t give a good impression.

I really hope for Grisworld he just made this up, otherwise if Kevin hears it... does Grisworld even know Sasha's boyfriend is a police dog?
Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
I got this funny feeling that there's something about Sasha that Fox doesn't know that everyone knows...
And don't tell me Fox forgot Grape's cute quality ;_;

Endearing trait? Interesting yeah, but I wouldn't exactly call it endearing... but yay Grape is back!

I love the callback to Grape's endearing quirk and how it was never at any point called back to.

Oh look. It's one of the comic's main characters.
I almost forgot about her.

Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
This reminds me a lot about the Love and War arc, it even has all the same people being questioned! (well besides Grape and that one other dog...)
I thought about changing my signature but decided against it, it's too much work!
Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
So..... Sasha is a Cheater? Or Griswold is talking about that arc that got Sasha broken up with Bino before nearly shipping Herself with Fox, then eventually ending up with Kevin. And who on Babylon is Kris? Or Sasha really is one of "those"?
And I never saw Bruno (I think that's his name, right?) crying like that before... Don't be sad, Bruno, You'll learn to make better cookies soon. No wonder tho that His father is wishing for a better watchdog. And no, not a dog that brings clock-watches. Individualism, You evil something I don't know what to say here...
And... That Chihuahua is pretty familiar... but Who is He? I think He failed at dating Sasha before... I guess? It's hard to tell without the tags.

His name is Rex. He's been around from the start, Bruno is the bear that Bino "befriended".Vuk91 wrote: And I never saw Bruno (I think that's his name, right?) crying like that before... I'm hoping the funny twist is that Sten turns out ot know where Sasha is, but were too quick to dismiss him :3

Wooooow...
The last time i remember seeing Rex was when the comic was still in Black and white!

Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
Wait a second, I just kinda thought the name Sten is a pun reference to a certain angry, devious, deadpan snarker that rhymes with Pen..
"Crimes?" "Crimes."
Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
Eheh, this is a funny conversation. It's great to see those three dogs back, also if they aren't really helping. You still use an old typewriter, Mungo? That make you more professional than what you already are. Eh, she had so many boyfriends, Griswold. Oh, Rex, how could you do that? Ahah, Grape! Yeah, actually, I forgot you like dog biscuits... Aww, poor Sten's bladder. Well, before go away, he should clear all that mess.
Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
Rex has appeared A LOT actually, he's like the most recurring neighborhood dog who's not Bino or Fox. In fact, in the start of the comic they were sort of a trio. For recent appearances in color, last year kicked off with an arc that focused on Lucretia helping with Rex's mother(owner)'s baby shower.Adoring Fan wrote:Wooooow...

If you scroll up and down real quick it looks like Griswold is making eyes at you.....

No, no I didn't Grape. As for whoever said Rex only appeared a couple times at the beginning of the comic, he is actually shown quite often, though his chances are about as random as Sasha's.

I figured Sten's name was a play on "stent", a medical implement. It could also be short for Austen.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

pretty sure it's a nod to Ren and Stimpy, since Ren was a chihuahua. wouldn't be surprised if he lives with a cat named Rimpy.Douglas Collier wrote:I figured Sten's name was a play on "stent", a medical implement. It could also be short for Austen.

Re: 2016/09/22 - Crossfire
Okay this is not related to the strip, but I'm imagining Sten sounding like either Butters or Tweek from South Park.
