Who wants to bet that this one moment when they're gone is when something's gonna happen? Someone's gonna show up to eliminate evidence or something.

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Is it just me, or is Mungo getting cuter with each comic?

They’re in charge of the dock;
Given vital instruction
But all they think of – oh, the shock –
Is where to grab their luncheon.
Fox, don’t go and get your lunch
Whilst leaving Mongo there;
If you do I have a hunch
You’ll regret how much you care
Send Mungo to get the food,
He’s not as thick as made out.
He may be gentle, with platitude,
But he’s interesting to have about.

So obviously what's gonna happen is they're gonna get donuts, eat them happily, leave the shop right on TIME (couldn't resist a watchdog pun!) they'll get back before the guy does and everything will be just fine! Right everyone? RIGHT???
I thought about changing my signature but decided against it, it's too much work!

I have a feeling a chase scene is going to commence soon. The good old dogs chasing a car trope!

So, I guess Mungo is Kevin 2.0 - strong, fun, AND able to eat donuts without crying.

Don't worry. I'm sure Jack will relinquish it to the dogs in blue.

All of these awesome panels... used for a donut mess with a cop trope. Really, rick? :3

Ahahah, what a sense of duty you two have, don't you? Policemen, and so also policedogs, can't resist donuts calling, right? Anyway, you two deserve a little pause after the good work done. Well, Mungo, if your attention has always been on the donut shop, maybe previously you were actually looking for donuts under the limo and behind those boxes...

Mungo does seem to get cuter and cuter... He was already adorbs though!
Man I still wonder how Fox got into shape so fast. Did he get to keep the heaven ability to change his body at will or something?!

Fox was off-panel for a while. He was most likely in training during that time.Rikunda wrote:Mungo does seem to get cuter and cuter... He was already adorbs though!

I don't think that's a heaven ability, it's just not instantaneous and effortless lolRikunda wrote:Mungo does seem to get cuter and cuter... He was already adorbs though!

Seems that they have their priorities straight. So is Keene with them still or did he leave earlier? Or maybe he left with the detective.

Keene likely went home at this point to let them investigate. He probably went home to get a list of all of his enemies, too. :3

That feeling when the forums are resurrected and return in a triumphant fanfare and fiery spectacle like the phoenix from the ashes. Oh colour #004080, how I have missed snarking with you.

Okay, did i miss something? what is House on about?
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

I believe he's referring to the fact that for a few strips the forums were unavailable. I'm with him, though, I'm glad to see them back.Buster wrote:Okay, did i miss something? what is House on about?

The forums have not experienced any down time. It may have been an issue with your local DNS server or something.
Really love that sweet transition. From "super on duty" to "so done with this"

I think a lot of people make that transition once they're off the clock. Though I don't think these guys are "off the clock." Now to see if this becomes a plot point.

Well, I'm not going to dispute your statement, you are, after all, the site administrator. But, all I know is, for a week or so, I could find no link on the comics page to allow me to go to the forums, unless it was there and I couldn't see it. That's all I know for certain. Be that as it may, I'm glad I found the link and I can come and see what everyone thinks of the current strip.Obbl wrote:The forums have not experienced any down time.
