Joy: greatly enjoyed my weeks vacation from work. Didn't go anywhere, just stayed home, away from the stress of work for a while. Been a hectic time up until this Monday. Feeling rather refreshed.

Sorrow: I go back to work tomorrow morning. Valentines Day.

...people, I'm a chef at a country club kitchen, predominantly the pantry line. I'm fully expecting around 200 patrons, hopefully the number will be lower. Last year, I nearly had a breakdown. At least I have more experience this time.

Sorrow: Apparently my grandfather's body has been partially subsumed by his 'saka' (malevolent guardian spirit), and there are times where it was not my grandpa who is talking to me, but the spirit. He is senile though...

It's really odd being told this, because I can't sense the supernatural even in the slightest like the rest of my family can, and while I don't reaaaaally believe in these things myself, I have to open my mind and entertain the possibilities.

They're gonna try to separate the spirit and return it to the lands around July, because without the spirit's energy supporting him, my grandpa would most probably fall ill immediately after

Joy: I survived! Much less than the 200 I thought, but we did almost 60 for breakfast (buffet, though, so much easier to handle) and about another 100 for lunch. THAT was where it really hurt. Almost two hours of constant moving to get plates for big tables ready. Thankfully a coworker came in who could help me right before things were their busiest. Came home exhausted, then the family went to this "murder mystery" dinner at our church. Good food, fun little play.

Also, Kuro, I do hope for the best, whatever happens. Not everyone is in tune with the supernatural, which is admittedly a risky thing. It that is the case, please be careful.

Joy: I finally talked to the proctor from my exit exam I took last semester and never got the results from. Not only did I pass, I apparently kicked butt and was one of the top performers. now I just need to pass all my classes this semester and I graduate.

Sorrow: I had a bit of a fever earlier today so I had to stay at home.
A little Joy: According to what my classmates said, I didn't really miss much in some of my classes. So I guess that's good
A little more Joy: Since I stayed home, I got to get some well-needed sleep. Hopefully I'll be better by tomorrow.
Another Sorrow: I have a midterm this Friday and I'm reeeaally nervous about it.

Even bigger sorrow: I can't talk to Seth for three weeks because of that.
More Sorrow: I was crying in the shower because I wasn't sure I would be able to tell him and he would be wondering where I was.
Slight joy: My friend is letting me borrow his phone so I can get on Skype and tell him.

As long as he knows, then it's alright. Like Sleet said, improve your grades so that you can get your phone back. I'm sure Seth will understand as well

Sorrow: Trying to act as mediator between my brothers is a little bit tiring, especially when trying to make one see from the other's point of view.
Sorrow: Still felt awkward with my guildmates in this MMO I'm playing. I also can't get into their wacky style of chatting, so I feel like a wallpaper sometimes

Joy: The kittens are doing well so far, at 3 months of age. Hoping they'll survive till their first birthday

In the kitchen you can't do either of these, But before you go to bed put nealsporne on it and add vitamin E.

Also when playing with your kittens, put a mitten on, that's what I did when I received Bunny.

And, yes she is a cat, named Bunny.

Sorrow: I left my photocopied book at one of my classrooms. I went back to look for it, but it's not there anymore. I even went to the security guards around the area and the lost and found section, but they said they didn't get anything. I can only hope one of the janitors/maintenance staff found it and returned it... I really need that book.

Joy: The Wings Over South Texas Air Show has been announced for April 9th, 2016 at Naval Air Station Kingsville, yes I know it's about a month away. Ever since going to my first air show I've never missed more than one or two. I'm big into both civilian and military aviation, my friends think I know a little too much about it save one who was in a cargo master for a C-130 in the air force. I cannot wait to see the Blue Angels again, it seems like an eternity since I last saw them.

Sorrow: I still can't find my book. No one's returned it to the Lost and Found section yet.
Anger: It ticks me off cause that would mean someone found it and kept it for themselves (likely one of the maintenance staff since it was kinda late when I left it in the room). I mean, I know it's my fault for leaving the book there in the first place, but I refuse to take full blame for it going missing. I just hope someone returns it to me, cause I really need that book. I don't want to fail any more classes, and I really need to get a good grade for this one.

I wouldn't start passing judgement yet, I know it's been a few days. But, maybe a teacher has it and took it by accident, I dunno. Why was it so important anyways?

Also I'd check places you were when you lost it but wouldn't think to have left it.

I know... it's only been a few days, and it's possible someone found it and just forgot to return it? I dunno... I thought maybe my professor (the one whose class I left it in) found it and took it with him when the class ended. Problem with that however is that I won't be meeting said professor in class this week because of reasons.

It's important because the book was for a class I need a particularly high grade in (84 rather than the usual 70 for minors). Also, my older sister spent her own money to buy it herself. She'll get really mad if she finds out I lost it.

I don't know where else to look. The classroom I said I left it in is the only possible place I could have left it as I clearly remember taking it out of my bag and reading it before the professor arrived. I know I didn't take it with me afterwards as I found out I left it about an hour or so after my previous class, which was where I last had the book with me.
