Not business ninja!
Re: 2016/01/13 - The Third Comic With Ninjas, Probably
Geez, Spot (Superdog), you suck at your job(s)! Can't get witty pun, can't keep from accidentally killing a guy, but at least your tracking skills work.

The simplicity of story
Replaces the simple art,
Moving plot forward fast
As Spot does his part.
Questioning like in Gotham,
Tripping like in training,
The goon does dancing death
As poison does his brain in.
He’s going to the hotel
To look for ol’ hook hand.
One thing we probably know?
It’ll (sorta) go as planned.

Notice how there's a slight fur-color difference between Spot(reporter) and Spot(superdog)? Spot(reporter) has a slight purple to his fur.

You know, I think Peanut traded his story-telling for his new art skills

Business Ninja reminds me of Cornelius Snarlington, Business Deer.

it's a parody of 1930 style comics. They really were written this way. Quick, condensed, exposition and a fight in a few frames.bjchan95 wrote:You know, I think Peanut traded his story-telling for his new art skills

*Suddenly, Business Ninja!*
I quite literally laughed out loud at that! Peanut's comic tendencies are getting better and better with each "Spot (Superdog) comic! (Question, is it intentional?) It's a shame the poor guy got demoted to Business Pancake just as suddenly!
One other thing.
"Spot, who is now apparently a reporter or possibly a detective, and also Superdog..." Is the best recap in comic history!
"Pistol-whip!" "Ow! My entire face!" still wins the best LOL dialog exchange prize from Monday's strip!

The animated signature I've used for years is too big for this forum! When I get time, I'll have to deconstruct it and make it smaller!

Re: 2016/01/13 - The Third Comic With Ninjas, Probably
And our superhero is starting with the rude ways, too rude, actually. Well, at least that's an efficient way to let him speak. Eheh, the business ninja goes away as fast as he appeared. But no, the poor some guy won't enjoy retirement... Now come on, fly to the hotel.
The color tones inconsistency is caused by the ambient lightning. The example you do of the slightly purple fur color happens in the indoor scenes.SuperStar wrote:Notice how there's a slight fur-color difference between Spot(reporter) and Spot(superdog)? Re: 2016/01/13 - The Third Comic With Ninjas, Probably
Spot really does stink bad at this so its good that he has many different talents then. So one guy was poisoned to death and Spot couldn't save him and then he pushed a guy out a high rise window to his death by accident. And if he lands on anybody they will be killed too. And then there are the people who will see what happens after a fall from that height.
Great job Spot! You just traumatized a boat load of people!

He really likes that dance pose doesn't he?
Maybe the guy that got poison-darted and the hotel receptionist are *gasp* the same guy!rmaster454 wrote:└ Tags: business ninja, some guy, Spot (Superdog)

Really liking these playful jabs every panel. And i don't think it counts if the ninjas are drawn by Peanut, but who am i to argue that logic? :3
Surprised the ninja didn't steal the plot device from under Spot's nose before dying. What if he had the location on a disc or something?

That kind of reminds me of a Seinfeld episode now that I think about it.

Huh, Busness Ninja Reminds me of the Spy....
Is Peanut a Fan of TF2?
...Nah, neither Earl or Jill Sandwich would allow it.
Also, Peanut's certainly improved in his art. Wonder if he'll draw Tarot one day?

It's because this is a pre-comic-code version of Spot.

Re: 2016/01/13 - The Third Comic With Ninjas, Probably
the comics code wass basically like a rating system for comics. publishers sent their comics to the Comics Code Authority, and if they followed the right rules they'd get a seal of approval and parents and advertisers could know what they were buying/supporting without having to read the whole comic.
