Mah owner, mah pop, wuz on a trip there, when he found meh an' tuk meh to de States. Been livin' here evar sense. He smiled, letting the memories come back. Don' kno' whay Ah still got i'. Been livin' here for almoust ten years. Suddenly, he snapped back into reality. 'Scuse meh, lassie, forgot tu entroduce mehself. You can call me Benuto. He looked back at the table she had come from. Quite a bunch a lads o'er there.

He smiles a little and sits up, finishing his coffee. "Well Alex, it was nice meeting you but I've never done well with big crowds. You and Mai just come by my house some time, trust me on this, we should get along just fine. Oh, and here's the money for the coffee." He lays down a pule of change in front of Alex and heads out the door whistling I've Just Seen a Face by The Beatles.

Balbaroy sits up and stretches getting ready to start the morning.

Pyxis taking a sip of coffee, hadn't introduced himself yet, still waiting for Amelia to come over, so they could be introduced together. he took a seat and left one near him for his sister, and began drinking some more of his coffee.

Amelia walked toward the table with lots of pets gathered around it, noticing that one cat was looking directly at her, thinking about it as she got near. Reaching the table she finally got a seat in between Pyxis and the currently mysterious cat. Now having a better view, she noticed that his fur was dark gray and had a white belly with a scar over his left eye. She leaned over to Pyxis Friend of yours?

Well, not exactly, I was just waiting for you to come over to introduce ourselves. Pyxis turning to Alex Hello, I'm Pyxis, Pyxis introducing himself

Amelia turned away from Pyxis and toward Alex. And I am Amelia, extending her paw toward Alex.

Once the dog mentioned Scotland, her eyes became bigger, as her face turned into an excited expression.
Scotland! My brother, Alex - she pointed to the table where Alex was sitting - and I were there once! I really liked it, would like to go there again!

Yeah, my brother and I went out to meet some people, and well, more showed up than we expected...... come on, join us at the table.
Mai stood up, and grabbed his paw, pulling it up. The more the merrier, she thinks.

Well Alex, it was nice meeting you but I've never done well with big crowds.

Was nice meeting you, too. Yeah, I understand you very well with the big crowds thing.....
Alex said it quietly, so only Lucky can hear him, and after that, he gave out a small sigh.

You and Mai just come by my house some time, trust me on this, we should get along just fine.

Alex looked again at the piece of paper Lucky gave to him. Maybe they could show up there once, why actually not? If this dog likes music as much as Alex does, he could easily see the two of them as best of friends.
Okay.... we will. - as Lucky stood up, Alex put the piece of paper in the pocket of his jacket.

Oh, and here's the money for the coffee.

Lucky pulled out a pule of change and lays it down in front of Alex.
Hey, take this money back! I payed for the coffees, and I don't want you to give me the money for it! - shouted Alex at him, as he was going out. He grabbed the money, but before he could stand up to catch Lucky and make him take his money back, the two cats started talking to him, introducing themselves. As the female cat reached her paw out, Alex grabbed it, and started shaking friendly.
Nice to meet you two. - while shaking her paw, he found himself looking again at Amelia, now inspecting every detail of her, from her ears to the paws on the legs. He continued to do it until he realized that he's still shaking her paw. Quickly, he retrieved his arm. Now this was embarrassing; he had to said something to make them forget his stupid act now.
Uhm, so..... you two related?
As he was waiting for an answer, he started thinking again......
What is going on with me? Am I really changing that much? Perhaps mom was right..... and what I did last night.... I hope she just doesn't tell anybody, it would be my end..... da*n! I've been dubbed as the "emotionless cat", and what am I doing now? I must snap out of it..... what did I do differently than usual? Let's see........ THAT'S it! I haven't done anything I like myself in the previous 2 and a half days, like practicing the guitar, playing games, or even reading..... that must be it!
He shook his head, realizing that he was still surrounded with pets. Amelia, Jester, Pyxis and the fox were still here. Not that it bothered him, but right now he could really use some time alone. Well.... he guessed he'll have to wait for it.

O'Connor suddenly found himself being pulled by the paw towards the table. Mai had him in his grasp, and he was too shell-shocked to do anything about it. Although the dog had left, there were still two cats and a fox left. Just enough to make this uncomfortable.

However, what really startled O'Connor was how easily Mai had accepted him, right off the bat. Ah've got to be at least three tuimes her age, and yet she's draggin' meh about lahke Ah wuz her best friend!

Something about the black cat with the blue eyes made O'Connor feel uncomfortable. He seemed cold and indifferent at the moment, but it also felt like that wasn't his real personality. Either way, it was disconcerting.

Mah name is Benuto! Mah name is Benuto! He thought quickly, trying to make sure he didn't slip up while talking.

Amelia noticed a few things that she hadn't seen before. Alex was seemed very nice and polite, but looked a bit overwhelmed by the large group of pets that surrounded him. Distracted by him, she never noticed she was still shaking hands with him, until he pulled back. Oh great, I just made a fool of myself. Alex asked "Uhm, so..... you two related?" Amelia blushed,N..no, just brother and sister. tripping over the first few words. Great now he really thinks I'm an idiot. Amelia could barely think clearly. Want...to go outside for a bit and talk?

Pyxis confused about the way her sister was acting, decided to stay inside and finish his drink. I guess I'll just wait here until she is done. sitting back down, he returned to his coffee.

Cier awoke and stretched out on his bed, finally feeling better after two days with a head cold. 'That's what I get for running around in the cold and rain.' He got out of bed, put on his collar, brushed his teeth, and headed out to the kitchen. 'Hmm, I haven't been out in two days. I think I'll head over to The Wall and get something to eat there.' He grabbed some money and headed to the door and wasn't the least bit surprised when Del hopped up on his shoulder from the shelf. "So, we're going to The Wall today? I see you didn't eat anything."
"Yeah, I need some fresh air after being cooped up. I also want to know what all that commotion was about yesterday."

They headed out the door and started walking, Cier turning his head to look at Pavelle's house. For some reason there was a feeling of unease coming from it but he saw nothing wrong and began walking down the street.

Several minutes walk later they we're at thier destination. Through the window they could se a large group of pets at a table, most of them new. Cier walked in...

Pavelle was so lost in thought on her way to the coffeeshop that she didn't notice where she was until she was bouncing her head off the door of the Wall. "Ouch!" she said, pronouncing the word in the same tone as one might a swear. She rubbed her head with one paw, trying to wince and scowl at the same time. Her other paw found the doorhandle and she opened it up, walking in. And then she nearly turned right around and walked back out. Why was it that the one time she wanted peaceful reflection in the normally empty shop it was brimming with pets? She went to the counter, said a hasty hello to Jake, fumbled to produce enough money to pay for her two large coffees, and then made a quick retreat to the furthest table away from the other pets and their commotion. She didn't really feel like being social. She hoped that nobody would notice her, picking up a disguarded, crumpled two-day-old newspaper off the floor and trying her best to hide behind it and look inconspicuous. She tried to ignore the picture of Magnus and Rav that took up a good six by six inches of space.

Rav gets up in the morning, still cuddled closely up against Venison..
Wow you must have really worn yourself out yesterday, he thinks as he gets up an hobbles down to the bathroom.. Oooh ouch.. Oooh i'm feeling those staff lessons today..

He pads back into the bedroom, an goes over to the table..
Sara has laided out two bowls an an cans of pet dog food, Lamb flavor..

An finds a note, I'm off to work..
I sure animal control is going to be prowling around the streets, the next day or so.
I think it would be best if you an venison stayed safely indoors, until the mess from yesterday dies down. love Sara..

“Zzzzzzzzz…” Venison was still sleeping in, dreaming…still very dead asleep.

Venison sat up with a start. The palace looked quite familiar…

Of course. The canyon with the floating rock in the center, how could he not recognize it?

“Great. Not again…Huh?”

The rock suddenly shook for one moment, knocking Venison off his feet, causing him to hit the ground chest first.

“Whagh! That’s never happened before!” He lifted his head up, cautiously looking around. Apparently, a very, very large rock had hit his. In fact, it was the very rock that he had jumped to the last time. And then some familiar feet stepped into his vision. The tabby!

“About time you got here. The battle’s tide well turned while you were gone, due to some powerful new recruits. Come and see.”
Venison stood up.
“What?”
“Just come.”
Venison sighed and followed the tabby cat across the rock, which strangely began to turn soft as Venison walked a cross it. He payed it no heed, though. “So, I was attempting to get info out of you right before a spear interrupted me. Do you care to elaborate on what I might have to do?”
They maneuvered through the animal camp on the rock, passed many who were eating or playing cards, various weapons of all sorts surrounding them. “Quit trying to fool yourself. You already know what you had to do and did it. Well, at least your sub-conscious knew, but that’s good enough.”
“Would you just shut up and…”

“Hello, Venison.”

“Huh?”

There, in front of Venison, was Rav, Pavelle, and Mangus, sitting around a fire.

“These are the recruits you managed to summon, Venison. Your new friends?”
“You’re kidding, right?”
“Hey! We can hear you, you know!”
“Pavelle, not now! Look, tabby, I don’t know what happened, but this is impossible. I haven’t had any friends in several years.”
“So, do I need to count how many times you saved the raccoon and the Dane for no reason? Do I need to recount the Shep’s acts of kindness?”
“Do I need to slap you across the face?!?!? Where’s your off button?!? Seriously, I’m going to…” Venison’s anger stopped dead as he felt a familiar feeling on the back of his neck.
He stood straight up, let his arms fall to his side, and narrowed his eyes in annoyance.
“RAV. NOT. NOW.”
Rav’s giggling rang out as he stopped grooming Venison.
“See how they snuff your anger? See how they affect you? You’ve got friends now, Venison, and you’ve always needed them.”
“Prove it.”
“Look behind you.”
Venison turned around to find a slowly growing forest. Life was returning to a barren rock? “Well that wasn’t there before.”
“When did you notice the ground becoming soft under your feet?”
“About the time you said we…had…”
The tabby snickered.
“New recruits, am I correct? It’s newfound hope, Venison.”
“Well, you are as smart as I am. Shouldn’t you know?”
“Ah, even as we speak, more of the canyons close. But you still have work to do before this land is whole once more. You know what to do. But most importantly, if anything…trust your new friends.”
*CRRRRACKKK*
“Why do my dreams always seem to end this way?” Venison muttered to himself, as a large tree began to fall toward him. He covered his head. “I hope I don’t wake anyone up with this start.”

Alex regret asking the question. It made Amelia blush, and he didn't want the pets around him to feel uncomfortable. Or, at least he didn't want her to feel that way, although he couldn't explain it to himself.

N..no, just brother and sister.

That's basically what I meant when I asked the question........ I'm so stupid for not specifying anything!

Want...to go outside for a bit and talk?
Talk? About what? Oh no.... I'm bad at talking. But how to say no?
Instead of saying no, Alex stood up, ready to walk outside. A quiet "Okay" could be heard coming from his mouth. He started walking. On the way to the door, he saw a dog with a mouse on his shoulder, and shortly after, a raccoon entering The Wall. Raccoon? Didn't Magnus say his sister was a raccoon? Whatever. Alex had other business to do. He stepped outside and waited for Amelia to come out, too. What could they possibly talk about?


.:.Meanwhile.:.

As Mai pulled Benuto, she noticed the same raccoon passing by, and sitting in the, it seemed, farthest table in the whole shop.
Uhm..... Benuto? I'll be right back. - Her voice was confused as she watched the raccoon. After a moment of silence, she turned to Benuto again.
I think I know that raccoon! I'll be right back!
With these words, Mai let go of Benutos' paw, and she found herself in front of the raccoons' table after a couple of swift jumps. The raccoon was hidden behind a newspaper, which Mai deciphered as 2 days old, according to the date in the upper-left corner of the title.
Excuse me........
Mai was almost sure that dog from yesterday said that his sister was a 'coon. He even said her name.... Pa.... Pa.... what was it again? Anyway, she didn't plan on staying with the 'coon. Benuto is waiting for her, after all, but her curiosity got the better of her again, and she just had to find out now if she's really Magnus' brother.
Excuse me! - repeated Mai, louder this time.

Amelia joined Alex outside the coffee shop still wondering what to say, she looked around for something to talk about until her eyes landed on his guitar shaped ID tag. Do you like music? In a nervous tone. While looking down she thought. Did I just say that? What if he asks me about artists, bands or types of music, I don't know any of this stuff. Amelia wished she could run away from Alex, at least until she had some time to think. She lifted her head back up and looked directly into Alex's eyes, and finally realized that this whole time she actually thought that Alex was cute. I think i could stay a little longer. She thought while her eyes were fixed on his.

Pyxis totally oblivious to where Amelia went, just finished his coffee and looked around the coffee shop. Where did she go? looking around some more he gave up. Probably went home already, Pyxis assumed, as he walked toward the door of the shop, until he walked past a raccoon and a cat talking, wanting to ask something, but thought against it, Keep walking. thinking to himself as he passed.

Uhm..... Benuto? I'll be right back. I think I know that raccoon! I'll be right back!

Just as quickly as Mai had dragged him into the center of the room, he had left him to talk to a raccoon. He was glad to not have to deal with more pets, but now, he found himself awkwardly standing in the middle of the room. The constant flow of pets made it easier, but he still felt out of place. Suddenly, his scottish anger kicked in at being left.

"Argh, Ah don' need this! Ah've go' unpackin' tu du!

He then quickly turned, and without any forewarning to Mai, threw his coffee cup away and headed out the door. Unfortunately, before he could get anywhere, he collided with the black cat standing out front. Still in a grumpy mood, he looked up and barked,"Wha's the big idea, ya bloomin' roadblock!" Quickly, he turned and hurried down the sidewalk, hunching his back in an elderly manner, and headed for his house.

Matthew laid back on his mattress and sighed. Today had been incredibly boring, as usual. There was never anything to do around the house, besides his few chores. Life here is so dull, he thought.

Maybe Rachel is right. Maybe we should get out some today.

As if hearing her name mentioned in his thoughts, Rachel walked into his room.
"Hey Matthew," she said cheerily, "I just got offered to play at a gig next week, and was wondering if you would like to accompany me."
"Sure," Matt replied, grinning. They had only just returned from playing a "Pet Symphony Orchestra" concert at Carnegie Hall, and she was already yearning to play again.

After a few seconds of silence, Rachel spoke again: "Hey, do you want to go grab lunch at The Wall? And maybe go meet the new neighbors afterwards?"
"New neighbors?" Matthew asked, confused.
"Yeah, we've apparently had quite a few new neighbors move in while we were out of town," she told him.
"Alright," Matthew said, trying to sound enthusiastic. He was terrified of meeting new people, but decided that he would eventually have to meet them, and it would be best to have Rachel with him when he did.

"So what are you waiting for? Come on, lets go!" Rachel exclaimed, grabbing Matthew by the arm and pulling him out of bed.

Matthew couldn't help but smile at this. Her constant enthusiasm never ceased to amaze him. "All right, all right! I'm up, you can let go of me now," Matt said, still smiling, as she dragged him outside. Rachel released her grip on his arm, returning his smile.

In a few minutes they reached The Wall. The small coffee shop was the ideal place for all of the pets to hang out, and was, for some mysterious reason, almost always void of humans. On his way inside the shop, Matthew realized that there was a striking amount of new faces there. Just how many new neighbors do we have? Matthew thought.

They continued walking past all of the unfamiliar faces until they reached a table where an unfamiliar brown dog and what appeared to be a fox sat.

"Hey guys!" Rachel greeted them merrily, taking a seat at the table.
"Hey," Matthew echoed quietly, following suit.

Lucky turns when he hears the shouting in the accent, but shrugs and keeps walking speaking to himself aloud. "Well that was rather rude."

Balbaroy begins to set out for the day, but gets distracted and stops to play with the white dandelions in his front yard.

Milo looked inside the nearly empty refrigerater, his stomach growling slightly. After a few minutes he closed the door, sighing and turning toward the living room. "Hey dad!" He yelled "We're out of food!" Straining his ears he barely heard as his dad responded "I'll go to the store later! I'm busy right now!" Milo turned around and took a step forward "Than I'm going to that cafe! See what I can get there. Gah!" He exclaimed as he almost ran into Eira, who was suddenly standing right there.
"I wanna come! Please please please, can I can I can I, pleeeease!?!" She asked, speaking so quickly that her scentence ran together into one long word.
"Alright, fine." He said, barely getting the words out of his mouth before Eira had already ran out the front door and out of sight. Milo grinned to himself and walked out the door after her, closing it firmly behind himself and heading down the sidewalk toward The Wall.

he just sat there feeling a bit stupid as every one else wandered off. "so, whats up Jester?" Octavian said but before Jester said any thing two other pets walked up and "Hey guys!" one said "Hey" followed the other "Uh, hey" Octavian greeted huh, guess these tables didn't need to be pulled together he thought "So, uh... who are you two?" he asked.

Upon closer inspection, Matthew realized that the unfamiliar brown dog was actually Jester. He sighed with relief. It was much easier meeting one new person than it was two.

The fox then spoke up. Hmmmm... A tame silver fox. I've never met one in person before, Matt thought. Rachel then responded to whatever the fox had said to them:

"Oh, I should have introduced myself! I'm Rachel, and this," she pointed to Matthew, "is Matthew. Well, welcome to Babylon Gardens! We were out of town when you moved here. And your name is...?"

Cier walks over to the table "Hey guys, whats going on?"
He looks around at all the new faces. "There sure are alot of new pets moving in" He said, smiling.

Pavelle nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the second louder 'excuse me'. She hadn't heard the first, staring off into space, mind jumping about from topic to topic. As she flinched, her paper folded in on her, engulfing her head and shoulders, drowning out a lot of the light and draping over her body and chair down to her waist. She grappled with it, trying to get it off, internally cursing. Finally she managed to extract herself from the pages. She found a dark yellow/orange female cat standing in front of her. Pavelle looked at the new arrival with a mixture of glum reluctance and confusion. Plus a bit of embarrassment at being caught entangled in a newspaper. "Um? Was there something you wanted?" Not trying to sound like a total jerk but feeling a little irked at being spotted when she had tried to stay antisocial. She was still angry at her parents for just leaving without a goodbye, and that irritation showed on her face and in her tone more than she thought it did. She took a deep breath to help settle herself.

"Hey, I'm Octavian. and Babylonian gardens?... i thought this was Richardson Vally" he said jokingly

"Hey guys, whats going on?"

"Not much as far as i know, Clear was it?..." he asked shifting in his seat. "i think i saw you two or three days ago..."
he shrugs and scratches his neck. "any way, nice yo meet you Rachel, Matt" he said holding out his paw to shake there hands.

Alex didn't wait long enough outside. Just a few seconds later, Amelia came out, too. She was looking rather uncomfortable, her eyes wandering here and there, until they stopped on his ID-tag, the guitar.

Do you like music?

This made Alex feel even more uncomfortable. Talking about him? He didn't like that. Amelia kept looking down for a moment, until she lifted her head to look directly at his eyes. He didn't blink. He saw her eyes only in the distance, while she was walking towards their table back in, but it seemed like they both avoided eye-contact while close together.... or was it just him? However, he, for some unexplainable reason, liked her eyes.... or, not just the eyes, but rather the whole face. The whole cat. While distracted by the thoughts of why she likes her, and if he really thinks she's cute or just needs some good sleep, he almost forgot that he was asked a question.

Yeah, I've bee..... - Suddenly, the door of The Wall opened, and a dog collided violently into him. The impact threw him a couple of inches away, as the dog yelled at him, apparently blaming him for this. Alex walked back to his original position, as the dog run away, without caring about the accident anymore. He had other business to do. As he regained the eye-contact, he finally spoke.
Uhm... yeah. I've been playing the guitar for more than 3 years. Music is one of my main hobbies.
He couldn't keep it up anymore, just talking about himself. Never preferred to do that in the first place, but right now, he hated it, considering who he's talking to. He had to find a new topic soon.....
And...... what are your hobbies? What do you do in your free time?
"Such a stupid question"- were his first thoughts. He looked down again, breaking the eye contact, pretending to inspect her own ID-tag, a gear made of copper. To make the pretending better, he gently grabbed it, and lifted it up a little and came nearer to Amelia, to get a better sight of it.
I'd ask her about this now, but I already asked a question, and a rather dumb one.... I'm so stupid.

Mai smiled at the 'coon, who got, it seemed, confused by her presence. When she spoke, her voice seemed annoyed, so Mai intended it to be quickly.

Um? Was there something you wanted

She just wanted to know one thing........
Uhm.... do you, by any chance, know a dog named Magnus? If you do.... please tell me if he's alright.
Mai's face turned serious, which is a rare occasion. She just wanted to know if Magnus is okay, since the last thing she remembers is arriving at that camp yesterday..... but by now she found out that it was a dangerous place, and that all their lives were in danger- which is, actually, the only thing she knew about that.

Matthew grinned at Rachel's slip-up. Babylon Gardens had been where their residence was when they were in New York.

He then noticed Cier heading over to the table. "Hey guys, whats going on?" he said.
"Not much as far as i know, Clear was it? I think i saw you two or three days ago..." Octavian replied. He then directed his attention back to Matthew and Rachel. "Any way, nice to meet you Rachel, Matt," he said holding out his paw to shake their hands.

Rachel and Matthew each took his paw in turn, shaking it. "Hey Cier..." Matthew said,"and Del," he added quickly, noticing the mouse on Cier's shoulder. "We just got back today. So what's been going on here this past week?"

Amelia didn't seem to care about the her question, she only cared that she was able to look at him, not knowing why, perhaps it was his face or his build or possibly his voice. Alex was about answer, until the door to the shop opened and ran into him, and a strange dog started yelling at him and just ran off like nothing even happened, looking at the dog, well, that was rude of him, feeling slightly angry. Turning her head back to Alex after the incident, as he started answering her again. "Uhm... yeah. I've been playing the guitar for more than 3 years. Music is one of my main hobbies." Wow guitar, that sounds very neat, I wonder if could hear him play later... she shook the thought, I barely know him, and what if he doesn't like me? Starting to sadden at the possibility, "And...... what are your hobbies? What do you do in your free time?" She started cheer up as soon as he asked a question about her,Perhaps he wants to know about me after all. She was about to answer, when Alex gently grabbed her ID tag and stepped closer to her. He was only a few inches away now, Amelia didn't even mind him getting so close. She raised her arm toward his ID tag and gently grabbed it, and stepped closer to him.

Pyxis walked outside, the sun practically blinding him. How long was I in there? Pyxis took a few steps, noticing his sister face to face with Alex, blinking then rubbing his eyes in disbelief. What is going on here? he wanted to approach her, but he knew that he would be interrupting something, I think I better go home alone. Pyxis turned around and started heading home to unpack his belongings, slightly confused about her sister, I've never seen her like that before, She normally sticks around with me everywhere we go since we were little... Shaking bad memories while holding his collar, No, its not like that anymore, she doesn't need to stay with me all the time, she has a life too, and I'm grown up. Finally he reached his house noticing the moving van was there now. I guess I better get started. he mumbled to himself

Pavelle blinked at the questions, suddenly off guard. Magnus? How did this cat know Magnus? What was she not remembering? And why did she suddenly get the feeling that she had met this cat before? She stared at the yellow feline hard, trying to think... and then she had it. "Oh!" she exclaimed, "It's you! One of the passed-out cats on the street." She quickly took a glance around the shop, but the other cat wasn't there. They must have been the "new cats" Magnus had talked about before he ran off and got caught by the ferals. She nodded her head once, glad she wasn't confused anymore and had made the connection. "Yeah, I know Magnus. He's my brother. As for if he'll be alright, I think he'll be fine. He's sleeping off yesterday right now, probably has a couple bruised ribs from getting into a fight." She gave a considering look at the cat, then added, "Nothing to worry about, though." Just so that she wouldn't be worried or feel bad or anything. Pavelle thought back to Magnus, at home in bed. Then she shivered, remembering the light that she thought she'd seen, and the feeling of being watched, and the face in her window that had vanished in an instant. She tried to keep a positive expression on her face, but felt it slipping. Almost desperately she searched around for another topic. "Well... um, how are you? And the other cat you were with. Is he okay? He was bleeding, if I remember correctly." She shuddered at that, too. Blood brought back bad, bad memories. Ones she didn't want to relive. She looked around again. "Where is he? I thought that you two might be related, and families hang out in this town a lot. You know, take care of each other, stick together." She thought of her own parents and forced a smile onto her face. "But I don't think I see him..." She scanned the room, peering closer at the others, but she didn't see the cat from before. Then she realized that she had subconsciously grabbed one of her coffees and took a sip, savoring the liquid. Wondering if it was protocal to offer the cat a drink, too.

Balbaroy can be seen from the front window of the wall, giggling goofily and rolling around in the grass, simply losing his mind in what he's doing. It's unclear whether he even knows if anybody sees him or even if he cares. He's simply enjoying the moment.

(Time for the first detailed look into Lucky's home life. I have purposefully been as vague as possible up to this point but since there is a possibility of guests I will get into more detail now.)
Lucky walks into the front door of his house smiling. "Well you look happy." The voice came from his human 'sister' Emily (about age 16). She's sitting on the couch reading a magazine only half paying attention to him.
"Er... yeah. Think I just made a couple of friends while I was out. I won't share details now because I have a little work to do." He rushes into his room smiling, several instruments in the room. A keyboard, an electric and acoustic guitar, a bass guitar, and a drum set, all up against the same wall. On the other a bookshelf full of CDs, arranged in no particular order to anybody who doesn't know Lucky. If you did know him you would realize it's arranged by genre, and for each genre from favorite to least favorite. A small dog bed sits in the corner which he normally uses. A desk is up by the third wall with a tall stool, scrawlings of sheet music covering it with a full waste paper basket next to it and on the other side a computer which is turned off. "Let's see what I can dig up."

"It's Cier. And you're... Octavian, Correct?"
"Hello Matthew."

Cier turned so he was facing matthew "Hey, Matthew. Quite a bit actually. you can probably tell, alot of new people have moved in. As for what's been going on, I'm not sure myself, I've had a cold the last few days." Turning back to Octavian "Just what has happened while I was sick? what were all those sirens about last night?

"Oh jeez, that... uhm... well... apparently there is... was a feral pack in the woods" he said sitting up a bit straighter looking a bit nervous "and there where tons of pets there fox's like me, cats, dogs, all in a camp and what-not. there leader, Griffin, was kidnapping pets who went to far into the forest. animal control found out some how and was cracking down on them. noticed the extra few animal control officers?" he said. "Oh and hey there Del, sorry i missed you. any way those sirens where the animal control and some Vets" he finished. "oh and yes, its Octavian"

O'Connor turned the corner towards his house and slowed down. He felt terrible for being so brusque back there, but his temper had gotten the best of him. Besides, if Mai was as enthusiastic as she seemed, he would see her again. Of course, there was the problem with that black cat.....
Was that her brother? He never had time to confirm that, but they seemed close. If he was, that could be problematic. Ah weill, if he is her brother, ah'll get the opportunity tu apologize, he thought.

As he approached the house, he noticed that the U-Haul was half empty. He walked in and saw a large group of boxes, all in the living room. Trevor was sitting on one of them, sipping a tea. "Ah, welcome back! Enjoy yourself?" he asked. "Er, it went fuine." Trevor smiled. "You liar. I can see it in your eyes." He stood up and walked over to the terrier. "Let me guess. You let your temper get the best of you and made a scene." O'Connor didn't answer, but stared coldly back at Trevor. Trevor sighed. "If there's one thing I know about you, its that you're way too emotional to be your age." This time, it was O'Connor who sighed. "Ah know. Ah ol' mutt lahke mehself should no be'er. Ah just cahn't stand bein' made a ful of!" Trevor patted O'Connor on the head. "Don't worry. You'll make up for it in time. And besides," he jokingly added, "most folks are either kind enough or stupid enough to forgive you." O'Connor smiled at Trevor's wit. "Now, come on," Trevor said. "Let's get unpacked."

stepping carefully and moving quickly, djinn sneaks around the neighborhood, moving towards the edge of the town. he could really use a place to bunk down for a little bit and the abandoned barn near the edge of town is just the place. unused, out of the way, and a dangerous appearance so most people won't go in there. he enters the large field, figuring he's safe begins a casual stroll to the barn, only being in the sight of the house, but nobody's lived there for awhile. what could happen now he thinks to himself.

“Zzzzzzzzz…” Venison was still sleeping in, dreaming…still very dead asleep.

Rav looks up from the food bowl, having finished off the pet dog food..

He gets up an goes over to the kennel, watching the the sleeping dog within.
attracted by Venison's growling in his sleep, his legs twitching an kicking..
Rav henhouse his head off to the side, perking up his ears trying to make out what Venison is saying mixed in with his growls..
He blinks in surprise as Venison duck an covers, hiding his head in his arms, then bolts awake..

Eira was running down the sidewalk when she saw a cat out of the corner of her eye. Skidding to a halt, she turned toward him. "Hi!" She yelled, running across the field in his direction.

Milo walked up to the door of The Wall and walked over to the counter, ordering a cup of coffee. Once he got it, he payed and looked around for a table. Seeing none open, Milo was about to leave the cafe when he saw a familier pet. Sitting next to the silver fox he said "Hi, Octavian right?"

djinn hears somebody shout to him and turns to see them. she looked innocent enough, not like somebody who would turn him in, but he couldn't take that risk. everything about him said stray from his behavior, to his messy untamed fur, to even the obvious fact that he doesn't wear a collar. so he makes a mad dash towards the barn, hoping she won't follow him in, if not he can probably hide for long enough. all of this assuming it doesn't draw unwanted attention.

Ummm are you ok? are you having the nightmares again?Rav asks concerned for his new friend..

"It's more that my dreams have this nasty little habit of killing me at the end of every single one," Said Venison. "Not a nightmare if you're used to it."

"Hey wait up!" Eira yelled, chasing after the cat and srinting toweard the barn doors.

[Djinn]

djinn nimbly ducks around the doors, open widely since magnus was the last person to walk through. in an astounding acrobatic feat he jumps over one of the stall doors and rolling when he hits the floor. the only noise he makes is panting which he quickly gets under control. right now he doesn't feel like talking with much of anyone, it's been a few days since he last ate and that was a croissant fished out of the trash behind the wall.

Yes, Mom left us a few cans of lamb dog food out, it's on the table out here..

That does sound weird.. what was happening in your dream? you seemed to be running or jumping.. as your legs were twitching an kicking, then your arms were doing the same..
Along with a lot of growling, like you were trying to say something, but i couldn't make it out what it was.

Eira slowed to a walk as she approached the barn. She slowly entered it, watching around for any sign of the strange cat. Not seeing him, Eira sighed and sat down next to a nearby wall, looking around the interior of the barn with interest.

[Djinn]

Okay, this isn't bad. I'm hidden, there's no way she could have seen which stall I got in if she even saw which one. If she does there's a hole right there in the wall I can escape through, no problem. I'm safe for now. With that thought the stall door he's currently leaning against lets out a loud crack and breaks off the hinges falling to the floor and leaving him laying on top of it, stunned in disbelief and from hitting his head on the floor.

Eira jumped to her feet as the stall door across from her went crashing to the ground. "H-Hello? Are you there?" She asked, walking cautiously toward the stall. I shouldn't have left Milo, he can take care of things like this... Eira thought.
