Grape eating Faust is a lot more worse than Satau eating a grasshopper. We knew for a fact that Faust was SENTIENT which means Grape just committed cold-blooded murder. Though I doubt anybody really cares.

Yeah, animals being sentient does make it more surprising, but that's what happens when the real world food chain is still in full effect. Heck, it's been mentioned or implied several times now.

If they go and research who he is and find that he died of old age in ancient Egypt and then he decides to stay would that create an earth shattering paradox?
Also Satau shouldn't have to sleep on the floor.

Huh...Satau is from egypt which is in africa...he ate an insect. An animal from africa which eats insects...sounds somehow familiar....well Hakuna Matata

Edit: I know I'm not the only one who notices it, but I'll stay say it: It's kinda funny Satau is the chief dog of his tribe and that makes him kinda a royalty. Now think about a certain prince who also comes from africa. Kinda funny, seems like most royalty from house pets are from africa

Because as stated before in the comic bugs(along with fish) are not sentient, so thus they aren't considered characters.

But you're seeing it, Satau, modern era life is a lot better, and you haven't tried mattresses yet.
